In June of 2017 I placed an order for several items from Botach Tactical. My order arrived pretty quickly, but when I looked at the expiration date of the Pepper Spray, it had expired 3 months earlier. I immediately brought this to their attention and the sent out a return label 3 weeks later. I quickly returned the expired product to them with a note to replace with a similar item or refund my money. Now, nearly 2 months later I have no pepper spray, and no refund.
Shopping at Botach Tactical is a gamble. You might get what you ordered or they might steal your money.

I won't shop there again.

This company *** ***. I ordered about $150 worth of gear from them and 2 weeks later when the stuff shows up at my house only 1/2 of it is there. Seriously? I tried to call, email, send smoke signals to find out if and when the gear was coming...no answer. I don't have the time to *** play around with these ###tards as I am deploying back into the AOR. I am really pissed about having to waste my time to reorder gear i need in country. Save yourself the headaches and go some place else to buy your gear. The prices are tempting, but you will be lucky to get 1/2 of what you order. Save yourself the headaches and go through Grey Group Training, Tactical Response, Crye, or another similar company for your gear. The customer service is far better when you deal with real operators and not some pouges who are out to play "dress-up" in an effort to get your cash.

Very poor customer service.

If you call them with any questions they want to bounce you back and forth between the sales dept. and the warehouse.

They leave items on their site that are clearance and do not remove them once sold out. They must not update their system either. I saw an item I wanted, ordered it only to be called 2 weeks later and told its sold out.

I saw the same item again on their site, called to make sure it was in stock, they told me it was so I placed an order.

Well its sold out. I asked why it was still on the site and got an «I don't know" from the girl who works there.

I will never try to buy from them again and can not recommend them to anyone.

They just seem to not care if you shop with them or not, so I won't.

Do not use this company. They claim to have products in stock they do not have. Then they will ship half of your order and charge you full shipping. No email...No phone call...When you question them about it they act like "What is the big deal so it is going to cost you twice the shipping...no problem". They tried to tell me they have no control over the shipping costs

Buyer Beware... If you are considering using this company...keep looking.

Mixed bag here, but you should probably avoid Botach. You will not always get what you order. In this case, I ordered some items including 2 pair of tactical pants that were advertised at a closeout price. When I got the shipping confirmation email, the pants had disappeared from the order. I emailed Botach and never got a response. Sure enough, when the order arrived, the pants were not included and they had been removed from the invoice! Again, no reponse to a second email. It's a version of bait and switch. They did not charge me for the pants so I think their problems are more related to bad communication and bad business processes as opposed to intentional fraud.

Maybe I was the exception to the rule here. I called about a GG&G upper receiver for my AR build up. None in stock. A week later the tech rep called and left me a message saying they a few arrive. I called and ordered it. UPS tracking was sketchy, but it arrived right when they said it would. This is a 750 dollar part. And i got exactly what i paid for. Good customer service and timely delivery.

When people say, "I don't trust buying on-line", these guys are the REASON why. This is my first public complaint online that I ever felt like I HAD to write for others to see. They make buying online a waste of time and a worrisome transaction. Here's how it went down for me. I was looking to buy a knife and came across their great price and availability. HOWEVER when I placed my order, I was sent a confirmation email for my purchase thanking me for their business. I waited for the shipping confirmation email after that for about 1 week... nothing... waited another week... no e-mail and no package... Finally after calling about 20 times to get pass the busy signal. They picked up and I was put on hold constantly by this lady that seemed like she had TOO MUCH to do there. The hold was so ridiculous I hung up and kept calling back. Finally after 3 tries with the SAME lady, she transferred me to some guy that said "ARE YOU THE ONE THATS BEEN CALLING ALL DAY?" "I was like F**CK YEA! WHERES MY STUFF!?!?" After talking to that DUMEASS about what I had to go through, I canceled my order. I mean... I am SO happy they did and I didn't have to go through my credit card company to decline the transaction. But man... WHAT A NIGHTMARE. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. DON'T SAVE A FEW BUCKS BUYING FROM THEM. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY BUY FROM A REPUTABLE SELLER, do what your doing now and check for reviews before buying. I realized these tactical gear sites do some pretty bad online services. i.e., "impact guns". If your looking through the reviews, I am sure one guy or a few might defend them for good service. BUT F THAT DUDES. It statistics, compare how many bad reviews to good ones. I think people that did have a good transaction got PLAIN LUCKY. Don't risk it guys~~I'm not wasting my time here and neither should you. Take advantage of the information. HOPE FUTURE BUYERS READ THIS BEFORE GOING THROUGH THE HELL THEY PUT YOU THROUGH.

I have used many companies over the internet, and this is the only time I've ever taken the time to write a negative review. It's been months since I attempted to buy something from Botach, and I'm still angry.

They sent me the wrong item after a very long wait and it was nearly impossible to get someone to help me. Their prices are unusually low, and they exemplify the adage that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

DO NOT use this company. They may not literally steal from you, but you'll get terrible customer service and by the time you give up and get a return, many weeks will pass. Buy from a reputable dealer instead, but seriously, don't waste your time with these idiots. I wish I'd taken twenty seconds to do a Google search for Botach first--just take a look, there are tons of people who have had similar bad experiences.

For your sake do not order from this company- there are many more internet companies which will serve your needs besides this one.

I ordered an item for my rifle and was told it was in stock, the next day I was sent a e-mail stating that the item had shipped. I checked with the UPS web site and they in fact had received a manifest order ( which means intent to ship). A week later UPS still had not received the actual item. I called Botach several times on the phone and depending on the operator I was told a different story, from either it's on the way, it's going out tomorrow, the warehouse has it etc. etc.. They eventually called me and told me the item was not in stock (no big surprise here)so I cancelled the order. Now I've been fighting with them to refund my money. SO FOR YOUR SANITY ORDER FROM SOMEONE ELSE...

I called Botach Tactical on Dec 8th 2017 to order an item. I spoke with their sales rep and he said that he would check that the item was in stock. He stated that he had two of them in stock and would hold on for me. I placed my order online and was billed for said item. A UPS tracking number was e-mailed to me. I checked with UPS on Dec 22 2017 and they stated the item was not shipped. I contacted Botach and they said the item was back ordered. They lied about having the item in stock to charge my credit card. Do not order from this company. I am sorry that I did not check on them before I placed my order.

I Would not deal with this company again. I Ordered a Knife for a Christmas gift on Dec 17th. I Received the Knife on Jan 12th. I Called on Dec 23rd to check the order status since I didn't hear from them yet, they didn't send an email letting me know the knife was back ordered. They said it would ship on Dec 28th. The knife came in the original box but it was crushed becuase it was shipped in a bubble mailing bag. Product is new but service with this company was horrible. I asked on the 23rd if they could bump my shipping to 3 day UPS, was told "No, sorry"

Good price doesn't always come with good service I guess.

Man I wish I would have simply Googled "Botach rip off" like I usually do when I order online. I have experienced the exact thing many others are reporting. I ordered a holster and my card was charged the next day. I was sent a "UPS Tracking Number" and forgot about it for a week. When my holster hadn't arrived 10 business days later, I checked the UPS Tracking Number. You guessed it: "Billing Information Received, " no shipping activity. I emailed but based on the HUGE number of complaints against this company I have already contacted my CC company to cancel the charge.

Do your research. I almost always Google the company name + "rip off." Usually this gets a couple hits by obviously disgruntled customers. In this case, this company has HUNDREDS of complaints. Obviously they are shady. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I have dealt with BK at their site in LA and it's true. They literally are hustle and bustle, shipping and receiving the whole time I was shopping and running out of things and getting them in within 30 mins. It is a big warehouse distributor, but the staff is very willing to work with you. Maybe you should try not to be a Ftard and they will bend over backwards for you, because business is business and these guys are pros.

I placed an order on 1/18/2017.They charged my account immedietly. It was shown as shipped the next day. UPS tracking never got the package.
After several ignored e-mails and non-returned phone calls I was finally offered a substitute product that WAS?in stock. That was two weeks ago. Still no order shipped. My calls last two days have been ignored.
Botach has had my money for two month without producing anything bur grief.

I am a police officer in Washington State. I ordered some parts online for a rifle that I carry in my patrol vehicle. The company is called Botach Tactical. I submitted the order on 11-04-09. On 11-05-09 they charged my bank account for the cost of the order, $54.24. An email was also sent to my home email address confirming that the order was sent. On 11-19-09, I received an email stating that my order status had changed. The status of the order was described as “Bill information voided”. On 11-23-09, I sent an email to the company informing them I had still not received the order and inquired about the “Bill information voided”. I received no response to my inquiries.

Numerous emails and phone calls were made with no response. After a few months, I sent an email from my work email address, which they immediately responded to, probably since the email originated from a government email address. The email informed me the items were on back order and would be mailed once they arrive. Four months passed and the company still did not send me my items. Since I need these items for my job, I placed an order with another company for the same items. I then called Botach Tactical and asked for a refund. I also sent them an email asking for the refund, explaining that it had been four months and I could no longer wait.

A text message was sent to my work phone asking for my debit card information again to credit my card, since their system erases the information after the order is made. I called and left my debit card information on their machine. On 03-08-10, I received an email from Botach Tactical stating that my order was mailed. I wanted a refund rather than the items, since I have already received the items from another vendor, however, I can use them on my department issued shotgun, so I didn't mind. On 03-08-10, I checked my bank account and observed a pending charge from Botach Tactical for $54.24. Since I already paid for the items when I placed the order, I immediately called Botach Tactical and left a voicemail informing them they had charged me twice.

They have refused to return my calls, or refund the money. I contacted my bank and informed them of the situation. They stated that I need to file a dispute claim, which they turn over to Visa Debit. On 03-09-10 my account was charged the additional $54.24 from Botach Tactical. I called them again today, 03-10-10, but only got the voice mail. I left no voice mail this time around. I am considering filing charges myself.

Worst internet based company I have ever dealt with. One person running the order desk that has no idea what is going on, so communication and information is terrible. They advertise items as in stock, when they are not. You don't find this out until the order is shipped and they have charged your credit card. It's like pulling teeth to get your money refunded. I waited 3 weeks to get a refund. I will NEVER do business with them again, no matter how good the price of an item is...because chances are, if it's a good price, they don't have it in stock.

I ordered an accessory rail for my shotgun magazine tube from Botach Tactical on a Wednesday. That same day, I ordered the flashlight and fastener I was going to attach to the rail. Both orders came from California. By the time my flashlight arrived on Saturday, my accessory rail order from Botach still had not been processed. I called Botach on Monday and asked about the status of my order and a woman promised to call me back with that information. She called me the next day and said the product would be delivered the next Monday. When the rail did arrive, it was the wrong one. Fortunately, it was a better and more expensive rail and I was charged for the original.

To make a long story short (too late!), if you can get the product elsewhere, do it. It will more-than-likely get to you faster and be the original product you ordered.

I've ordered one pair of boots for my upcoming deployment. Shipping was listed as 5-6 days via UPS. There were no indications on the website that the item was not in stock. After one week of waiting and one additional week of unsuccessful attempts to contact customer service, the only response from Botach Tactical was a charge to my credit card in the amount of $104.26 for the boots I've never received. I'm less than one week from overseas deployment. With no response from Botach Tactical, I had to buy those boots somewhere else. This company is a joke. I should do my research before I decided to purchase anything from them.

they have messed up my order a few times as well so i use uscav.com and have ordered a few things from SKWHOLESALEDEFENSEPRODUCTS.COM which i bought the 42" 5.11 double rifle case for a lot less than their competitors.

Had the same problem with them! they try to real you in with low prices and bam instant headaches the second you submit an order. Did it once and never again! The best part is when you call them and they feed you a line of [censor] like "we cannot keep up right now our order priorities are with the troops" Yeah like they sell anything! One BIG FRICKEN SCAM! Botach= Bo suck my [censor] tactical more like it!

Botach took my order, screwed me on shipping charges, immediately charged my credit card, and then shorted me on 1/3 of my order. Its been a month now and I have not heard a word from them. Last night I sent an email and left a message on their online chat for someone to contact me, which they did not. Seems their 100% Satisfaction Guarentee is only a logo on their site and thats it! Shame on me though for not looking on the Web for negative reviews on them before placing my order; they are NOT hard to find.

I own a small business (Freedom Fighters inc, Florence, Ky) and order from them all the time with no problems.
I have never had any of the above/below problems stated here. Sorry you have all had these experiences,
