Myself and my two children attended Charlie and the chocolate factory evening performance on the 22nd of September.
The show started at. 7pm.
My daughters are 9 years old and 17 years old.
During the first half of the performance my eldest daughters phone had lit up as someone had messaged her so she glanced at it to see if it was an emergency.
Immediately there was security telling her off, she was told to get off her phone We were out to enjoy ourselves in watching a show together not to feel like every move we made was being watched.
During the 2nd half of the show my partner who was picking us up had messaged to ask what time he should get there. I was typing in to my phone that I’d be about 45 minutes. When two security guards came up to me and said that it was the second time they had told me.
I had try to speak to the lady security person by whispering in her ear then she had said I was grabbing her neck. This was a blatant lie
I was then told to leave with my two children who were very very upset.
I suffer with ptsd and I also have two broken ribs.
I felt threatened and singled out plus the security people (two women and a man) seemed to find it highly amusing.
My little girl was sobbing her eyes out and so was my eldest daughter.
All of this triggered my ptsd and sent me into panic.
There was no regard for mine or my daughter’s safety and well-being in fact they seemed to enjoy upsetting us.
I do not feel this was handled appropriately at all.
I have been to see most shows at Bristol Hippodrome and in london ect.
Never before have I been treated like this
I personally felt like I was being threatened by these three bully’s who made up lies.
I’m a 5ft 2 size 8 woman and the way I was man handled with my broken ribs was totally unacceptable.
I want a written apology and a refund for the mental damage this has caused myself and my two children
Desired outcome: Written apology, refund, compensation
