Attention shoppers: anyone scammed by the great scammers at bud's scam shop need to know that if they are looking for the Polish pps-43c, Duck Creek Armory has is for $269 compared to Bud's screw u shop. It's amazing; the staff St duck Creek seem to enjoy making the customer happy. what an odd experience with bud's cold heart gun shop. Long story short. Went into layaway agreement wih Bud's basically putting enough money to hold the pps with plans tro pay it off before thr time expired. In the mean time i am informed that i have throat cancer and the lost thought is the gun i put on layaway. As i was finishing up the radiation and chemo i remebered the pistol. I wrote to Bud's explaining the situation and my willingness to pay the balance, thinking any company that practices quality management would certainly allow me to miss the deadline but make up for it with the balance owed. Bud's sent me a very nicely written e-mail, accusing me of not making a good faith effort because i had not made any payments other than the $77 down to hold the gun.I really believed that they would understand my situation and wpuold be happy to work with me. NO DICE. Bud's got my $77 dollars and lost any sort of loyalty or future business. I will spread the word at the gun tablesat the gun shows. I will inform every hunter/shooter/gun collector exactly was Bud's is all about. bud's you cheap ### better understand that i am not going away. I will get my $77 dollars and i will do everything to ensure that your losses are more than the $77 dollars you stole from me. anybody who would like more info oe would just to chat about good old bud's screwing please e-mail me at [protected]@hotmail.com. I would like to get an online petition goingif anyone is interested. By the way i am only 54 years old and the docs think they got the cancer, and i did not realize how painful the mouth and throat would become. Anyone starting treatment for throat cancer please e-mail me because i learned some very helpful advice from people other than the doctors. ps. Bud's i would reqally like to see you open a shop in New Mexico, especialy one close to my home in La cienega.

I recently purchased a $1022.00 FN 5.7 pistol from this shop that was described on their site as including 3 20 round magazines, a standard oem package from the manufacturer. After picking it up from my dealer an getting it home, I found that they had sent a "California" kit with 3 10 round magazines. When I called and finally got a human on the phone (their system makes calling citibank seem fast), I was told that they only had the CA kit in stock, and could not swap the mags due to BATF regs. I'll point out that their lengthy hold loop states plainly that if an item is listed as in stock on the site, then it is in stock as they have "real time" inventory. When I pointed out that they sell the mags individually and could swap from that inventory, I was put on hold again, and then told that the manager was out of town, and would give me a call in a few days. That was over ten days ago. These magazines are about $100.00 to replace. I should have known better than to deal with Bud's, as they have flubbed my order before, and there are numerous complaints on their unscrupulous business practices. They've seen the last of my money.
After making three purchases through Bud's Gun Shop, my amex card was fraudulently maxed out on airline tickets at the Atlanta airport. Thankfully, Delta Airlines contacted me and I cancelled my card.
I recently purchased an AMC 1911 at Bud's and it would not feed. I took it back for repair only to be told that all 1911s have to be racked then released with the slide release to feed every single round. I knew this wasn't true, and it was backed up in the owners manual for the gun.
Not trusting the gun, knowing Buds wasn't going to repair it, and needing a ccw weapon, I decided to just trade it back. I lost $175 on the deal. Basically I was between a rock and a hard place. Losing money or having a broken gun.
If it was new, wasn't it under warranty from the manufacturer? Shouldn't the manufacturer have fixed it for you?
As I have sympathy for the complaint above I think buds was just following the company policy on that one. However my Layaway venture with buds was totally different but also cold hearted when it came to customer service. I went on buds and found two guns to purchase for my husband. I placed them both on layaway. I paid the $75 down. A week later paid $50. Then two days later paid $30. I planned on just paying something every week or sooner to hurry up and get it paid off. After my last payment I wake up to a new email stating that there was a problem with my payment and they needed to speak with me and had cancelled my layaway! CANCELLED MY LAYAWAY! Holy crap what? I called and they said they refunded all my payments back within 5 days. I said what happened and they said that my first two debits where made with my card and when I made that last payment I had used my husbands card and that I couldn't do that. There couldn't be two names associated with a firearm purchase. Well I said ok lesson learned on my part but why cancel my layaway? Couldn't they just reverse the last payment? She said no it's already been cancelled! I said this is crazy well then let me get my debit card out now and I'll just pay you off in full and she said well the price of the one gun you want has went up $92 now and we can't sell it to you at the original price when you started your layaway. I said this is crazy. I felt so put down by buds! It would have been my first purchase. I'm waiting on my refund now. And I have two brothers that are team buds members who spend thousands a year who said they are done with buds too for them doing this. This could have been handled by simply either calling me to explain what happened and at least give me the chance to make a payment with my debit card. I'm going elsewhere. They way the made me feel makes me not to even get myself and husband into gun collecting. Very upset with buds gun shop right now.
