BWS review: Box of beer

Hi there.
Today me my fiancé and brother went into a BWS store at CBD plaza shopping centre in Darwin. We went onto buy a box of beer, we got served by such a rude man with an eyebrow Piercing (seems like he was having a bad day) he asked us for ID which is absolutely as we are all over the age of 18. We got our full English driving licences out which also have pictures on.. he told us in a very rude manner that we can't expect our ID it has to be a passport or an Australian ID card. We have lived here for 11 months now and not once had this problem. Later on that day we went to another BWS and got the beers we wanted.
Really shocked about the customer service we got today.
Would really like to hear back from someone.
