On June 30, 2021 I went into to cash my cheque. The girl only gave me $200 and said etransfer the rest. 1-2 hours. 3 hours later I phoned in, Ashley (manager) said to wait, so I did. At 7 pm, I phoned in again. She said I had to wait until Friday, I asked for my cheque back, she refused. She told me the other store had the money but she wouldn't let me go get it. So, she refused to give me my cheque back or give me money. She thinks she is GOD. I have had trouble with her before. She is very rude. She said she phoned her district manager and he told her not to give me my money or my cheque back. I want something done about her attitude, or I will go to the US. Her attitude is unacceptable. Does she treat other people like this? She can't refuse to give me my cheque back. She asked me what I wanted to do, I told her I wanted my cheque back, she cancelled it. Then, today, she cashed it. She doesn't do what I ask. They just wanted their money and they held my cheque hostage so I had no choice. I wanted to go somewhere else. I want the $132 dollars back and an apology from her and her so called district manager. I had to take the day off work to come in again. Ashley lied to me. She does what she wants. She can not refuse to give me my own cheque back. This is ridiculous and I want some kind of action taken towards her and her attitude. She told the girl on the phone that she cancelled my cheque but the girl said she didn't. Then Ashley told me she had the money set aside for me at the other store but she refused to let me get it. I want $350 today as I had to take it off work today to deal with Ashley! Shelly would not do anything when I spoke to her today. Mary was supposed to phone me back but never bothered. I am not letting this go!
Desired outcome: My $132 back for cashing the cheque and an apology from Ashley and her district manager
