We have gone to the store where we purchased it from at 192 Chain Lake Drive in Halifax, NS and they refused to do anything about it. Disgusting that they are turning us away. I have reported them to NS Consumer Protection and will continue to let people know through social media the terrible service we have received and are now out over $700. which is terrible. How can a company your size do this to senior citizens. Who wants a bed with termites. We will let all our followers know not to buy furniture from The Brick , disgusting.

The Brick - King Bed
Bought a king size bed from The brick at Halifax , Nova Scotia store with 5 years warranty . The bed design was defective so we reported it within 30 days of purchase they sent a technician to fix it and technician just did a work around by adding few 2X4 for the centre support. Recently the side rails was broken and submitted a claim and was approved. Later the store sent a technician. We are moving so dismantled the furniture we have and trying to pack our stuff. The technician comes and agrees the work wasn’t done right and promises that the new bed will be shipped to us immediately. Next day rep from brick emails saying your claim is rejected as you altered(dismantled) the bed. They are just trying to use my moving as a reason to reject my claim.
Desired outcome: New working Bed.

The Brick - Warranty
I was told by the saleswoman that if I deposited an extra $100 and not have to fix my futon, I would be able to redeem it in store in a year. Now I am being told I have to wait 4 years. I was waiting a year to buy an end table, I would not have wasted money to wait 5 years. No one at the store has offered to help me in any way.

The Brick - dining chairs
Called customer service in August 22 and was given an email address to raise my claim. Sent an email on the 23rd and was told that a technician will be get to me. She verified my address and I confirmed. A week later I followed up and for some reason I kept getting excuses one after another. I just want my chairs fixed or replaced! It's the 12th of September now, 9:50pm and I'm still waiting! Selling insurance is one thing your good at, be responsible to entertain claims will you?
