Dollarama

As a teacher, I purchased $70 worth of Kinder Surprise eggs for an Easter party for students in my high school. When the Kinder recall happened, it obviously was not appropriate to give them out, so went back to see if I could do an exchange. I knew that the UPC code of the recall did not match but under the circumstances felt that Dollarama should look at the individual circumstances involved. I talked to manager at store and the head office, but they only want to keep to their mandate of no refunds and the recall not applying in this particular case. I'm very disappointed in their lack of consideration here and will not be supporting them in the future.
