Good afternoon,
At 3:38 today I was at this pharmacy to pick up a prescription. I had a question regarding the ODB program and a payment that was made at the Drug store last year. I was very confused and thinking I was owed 98.00 from Shoppers.
This young lady didn't know how to explain things properly. More than once she said, we can't do anything about this now. Each time she said that, I interrupted her to explain myself better. She talked down to me, she gave me a certain look when I interrupted her and said to me "Will you let me speak?" I didn't like it much the first time and when it happened the second time I told her to "stop speaking to me like that".
I admit, I was a little loud when I said it but she had made me angry at this point with her attitude.
You will never believe what happened next, she threw her arms up in the air and yelled back at me that she wasn't going to talk to me anymore, threw open the swinging door and stormed out. (Very much like a child having a tatrum) She left me standing there. No one came over, I had to go to the lady at the cash and ask her for help.
This kind lady, explained everything to me without saying, we can't do anything about that now. She explained that ODB runs from August to August and that the money I was enquiring about went towards our deductible. Problem solved, a mature lady answered my question with no yelling at all.
I have been going to the Strand Blvd Shoppers for over 25 years. Not once have I ever been disrespected or spoken to by anyone in this store. Never in my life as a customer has anyone ever yelled at me and walked and left me standing there, I could not even belive she did it.
Now that this has happened, I feel very uncomfortable going to this pharmacy or in the store in the future.
I am not trying to get this girl fired but she sure needs a course in customer service.
