I live in the area and Dollarama on Parliament St Cabbagetown Toronto is my go to store for daily essential needs. There is a specific employee who works the cash register from time to time and works in the aisles other days, if I am not mistaken co-workers of hers call her by the name of Richelle. She is rude when not being given the right answers, argues with you when she gives back the wrong change, she is very verbally expressive when upset and is rude when asked were certain products are, she is always chit chatting and swears unconditionally around children. She has no respect for her bosses and pushes and name calls her co-workers. She is young and should no better to have manners dealing with customers. These are the type of people who shouldn’t be given chances.
Desired outcome: Be spoken to regarding her work ethic and the way she handles people.
Dollarama - Can openers from dollarama don't work - just don't buy them
I bought a "Betty Crocker" can opener at Dollarama on Parliament St, Toronto. It is impossible to open it without ruining the package, and they have a no return no refund policy with a "however..." clause that says they might refund if the product is "in their original packaging", so it is a return possibility constructed to fail.
It is not that the gadget I bouth is malfunctioning: as soon as you try to use it it becomes very clear that it is NOT made to work, it is just for show, it is just a piece of junk making believe it is a can opener.
So, to summarize:
1) DOLLARAMA DOES NOT REFUND, so don't buy gadgets there, only buy things like pots and paper and things that you are sure are not going to malfunction.
2) I WOULDN'T BUY ANY OTHER GADGET THERE. Other things from Dollarama, other than gadgets, are ok. But the can opener is not even made to work, it is a fake.
Desired outcome: I would change it for other products from the store.
