We were at the Dairy Queen 1228 Baltzan Blvd in Saskatoon. The girl taking the order couldn't understand English neither could the woman training her. My friend had to repeat her order at least 10 times. A bacon cheeseburger with no onions or pickles due to allergies. She also ordered a marshmallow sundae with extra pecans which again she had to repeat at least 10 times. I ordered onion rings and tried to order a hot fudge brownie. She again couldn't understand, couldn't find it on the til. The manager came out and said it was discontinued. I asked why there was a big picture of it on the board, It is the feature of the month a Skor caramel hot fudge brownie. He again said they were discontinued and he had no brownies so I just ordered a hot fudge sundae. The bag came and my onion rings weren't in it. They went and got me some. My friends Sundae came and no pecans so again she had to explain what she wanted. We took our bag and went home. She opened her burger and even though the bill said no onions no pickles her burger was full of them. She phoned the store and the manager Joel told her that he didn't need her order number he'd look it up and phone her in about 15 minutes. The place was basically empty. When he phoned back he was very rude, almost yelling at her. She asked why we couldn't submit a complaint online-it wouldn't go through and he said if she was complaining online then not to bother him. She just wanted the money back for her burger which she couldn't eat and he refused. I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years and have never had such poor service.
Desired outcome: I think my friend should get her entire money back-she never did get her burger and by the time we left the sundaes had melted and again if the hot fudge sundae is the special of the month it should be there
