Check in was a pain 6th and 7th Dec. Reception staff was not warm and welcoming
My booking was done telephonic ally, and I was allocated a std room not as per my request as confirmed to pay the R200 for a double room
On arrival I was told the hotel fully booked by the general manager Veronica
The entire weekend I tried calling reception, they refuse to answer nor did they return my calls
The shower was a problem and no bath plug
Had to walk to reception to collect
I needed an iron they don't answer
The duvet cover had to be replaced
As a regular guest I was very unhappy.
New management requires lots of improvement
The room was not very clean, felt stuffy
I was valley facing, never slept well with the frogs noises the entire night, also a spotlight that kept going on and off shining into the room
I was told by Veronica the ground rooms are allocated to regular guests,...
What a joke as I knew people that was there the weekend...
They are not regular visitors but was ground facing...
I have been coming there for over 10 years
Thank you to the old staff Eugene a porter and the breakfast ladies that still carry on their hard work
I have informed Veronica that I will escalate my complaint
Very unhappy
