I was approached by Career
Solutions sometime in April when they found my resume i have posted on Career
Builder. They invited me for an interview and they gave me a selling pitch of
their great services and how i would be a great candidate for their company.
They promised that with two to three months i would find a great job with a
decent salary. They made me pay for their services before signing the contract.
I went in the next day to sing the contract and i was advised that i didn't
have to read the whole contract because it's basically what we've already
discussed, which was a lie and very deceiving. I was advised to just sign the
contract so i could be placed on a calendar. I was assigned to an advisor and
after the first meeting i was feeling skeptical and wanted to cancel their
services. When i brought up this issue i was told to just trust the process and
everything will work itself out. After
two months of horrible service, deadlines and meeting rescheduled and a very
poorly done resume, i got feed up and decided to cancel their services and did
a charge-back on my credit card for the $2, 450 i had paid them. They sent my
credit card company the contract i had signed which said that after the first
meeting, the money was not refundable and the credit card billed me the $2, 450.
I have complained to Career Solutions and they basically informed me that i
signed to contract, agreed to those terms and no money will be refunded. They
also accused me of trying to steal services when in fact they took my money and
haven't provided any of the services that we agreed upon within the contract.
They basically make people sign that contract and wipe their hands clean by not
providing any services we have agreed upon. This company is a fraud and
everyone needs to know about them. I am currently contacting every news channel
and newspaper and try to make them public of their poor services to make sure
nobody else fall for this.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
So apparently the Chandler Hill/ARE people out of Arizona are operating off of CareerBuilders again using bogus job ads purporting to have positions available to get jobseekers to contact them for "VP" level positions, only this time they apparently can only afford an identity package (no office but phone and mail) from an executive suite in Addison. I saw the ad and immediately recognized it as similar to an ad I answered a couple of years and $5000 ago. Wondering if they are just collecting money this time over the phone and forgoing even attempting to help. Maybe they'll get some people to agree to meet with them and them someone will drive up from Houston to get the money. I really wouldn't mind paying someone for help but these people are beyond the pale. They are not even going to open an ofice this time.
Yea, Joe Ducey on 15 should be all over it to warn others. But we should sue to get our money back. Anyone know a good lawyer for this type of thing?
I had the same experience with Career Solutions located in the Williams Tower of Houston, TX. I can personally vouch for the legitimacy of these complaints. This company has a bad reputation by their former clients. There is not one single positive review by anyone anywhere on the internet when I wrote this complaint. Do your own research and you will come to the same conclusion as me - SCAM!
These guys are a total scam! I paid them money and they did nothing to help me find a job. I found one on my own, applying from a job posting on the internet. I approached them for some of my money back. They told me I wouldn't had gotten the job if it wasn't for them. Do not give Career Solutions any of your money, it is a SCAM.
I had the same experience in their Huntsville, AL office. After I complained to the Phoenix office, Paul Cottle flew to Huntsville, fired everybody, closed the office and tried to disappear. I am in the process of filing legal action now.
Hello, is Career Solutions the same as CareerUS Solutions?
