Cnn is a great news station. I want to ask that you stop giving donald trump a platform! he's dangerous, the white supremacists, domestict terrorists, and maga are dangerous!
please stop giving trump a platform! he has a hit list and is very unstable, a sociopath and psycopath that lives in an alternate reality!
take away his attention, his dangerous followers! trump has done enought damage to america. Enough with the threats and violence on other lawmakers holding him accountable or anyone that doesn't worship him!
take away his platform! help america get rid of donald trump - domestic terrorist, russian asset, insurrectionist, enemy of the state!
Desired outcome: THAT CNN WILL STOP COVERING TRUMP AND HIS LIES! STOP GIVING HIM A PLATFORM TO INFLAME HIS DANGEROUS FOLLOWERS!
Programming changes
Chris Licht has done an impressive job of destroying CNN. I absolutely hate the new shows and talk show atmosphere. There are enough [censored] talk shows on TV without having a news program become a talk show with 2-3 anchors and 3-4 guests or so-called experts.
Brianna Keilar should have kept her show as sole anchor.
Chris Cuomo should not have been fired.
Don Lemon should have remained on @ 10.
The show that replaced Don Lemon @ 10 is totally ridiculous - one program was a discussion about Lizzo! Another disaster a 2 hour interview with punk [censored] Pence who is trying to sell a book!
Licht should be fired, he has destroyed CNN. Viewers are leaving a sinking ship! So Sad!
Desired outcome: Fire Chris Licht and start over!
Can't comment on Chris Licht.
However, the "New Day" show is a disaster. Two incredible female journalists; and Don Lemon who constantly interrupts interviews and the women, makes dumb jokes and brings the show down. If CNN's idea was to compete with the other networks morning shows, in my opinion, it fails miserably. Should have left the show with John Berman and Brianna Keilar. Now, I watch another channel until Jim Sciutto comes on at 8 CST.
Programming
Recent changes in programming have made CNN less viewable
1. Changing out the morning show from Berman/Keillar is a disaster. Harlow,Lemon and Collins were better at their old assignments.
2. Wolf Blitzer needs to retire. He just asks ridiculous questions.
More importantly than the front facing people are the producers. The news is stale, repetitive, too many commercials. We need more international news.
Better use of Chris Wallace might help. Anderson Cooper might be better suited for an afternoon show rather than 8pm prime time.
Desired outcome: Broader coverage of world events, more frequent changes of the news. The election coverage was nautious. John King is a good political analyst but we don't need him teaching us math in every sentence.
New morning show is a poor replacement for the news as presented by Brianna and John. Bring them and the old informative format back. If I wanted a group discussion and entertainment I'd be watching Morning Joe.

Sara Sidner
Senior National Correspondent CNN
Dear CNN executives, correspondents, and reporters,
I am writing to express my concerns about the story you did on Prem Rawat on September 2, 2022. In this story, Sara Sidner interviews Mr. Rawat, and from my perspective the interview appeared to be framed entirely in the language that Mr. Rawat’s organization uses to try to disguise, misrepresent and hide from his past. In fact, the exact language used to dismiss the accusations that he is the leader of a personality cult, was so familiar to me that I became curious if Ms. Sidner herself could have a connection to the group. I did a Google search on Ms. Sidner’s background. When I discovered that she grew up in Miami, Florida, which is where the Divine Light Mission/Elan Vital headquarters were in the 1970s and 1980s, I thought it more likely that her parents may be members. It was not difficult to discover who her mother is, Sally Sidner, and indeed, when I looked at Sal Sidner’s Facebook profile, I discovered that her mother has been promoting Prem Rawat and his organizations for at least the past 6 years and has connections to other members and leadership within this group. I am dismayed that this
conflict of interest was not revealed in your reporting. I am a CNN fan, and you are the first channel I turn to for any national or world news. I respectfully ask for an investigation into how this reporting was done without revealing Ms. Sidner’s family connection to the group and the individual she was interviewing.
There has been past reporting done on Prem Rawat, Divine Light Mission, Elan Vital, Words of Peace Global and it is not necessary to only rely on former member websites to access the concerning history of this man and his organizations. In Ms. Sidner’s interview, while she brought up that he has overcome controversy and has been called a cult leader, she did not cite any specific examples of his abuses of power or challenge him in any meaningful way. In fact, the language she used to bring up the controversy is the exact language used on his websites to get ahead of criticism. I ask that you do now what you should have done when this story, or any story about someone accused of being a cult leader, is presented to your editors-, research the background of the person to whom you are supplying a platform.
I have included Sonia Moghe as a recipient as she has done a great deal of reporting on NXVIM. I believe if you investigate Prem Rawat’s history you will see that there are parallels, as there are to most organizations which have leaders who deny they lead a cult.
I trust that anyone who were to seriously examine the record will see the serious concerns about Prem Rawat. But as one example, I would like to provide this reference. Prem Rawat labels his critical former followers “manmuts” -
“Manmut is what has been described as a devotee who is not a devotee, who has been sent beyond everything. A manmut is the worst. That's it. If there's the pits, then that's the pits. That's the end. That's the back room of hell. That's the hell of hell. And what manmut means is: the follower of mind. But before being a manmut, you have to be a devotee. First you have to be a devotee, follow Guru Maharaj Ji, and only then you can become a manmut. Because you leave Guru Maharaj Ji and start following your mind. And then you end up in the pits. That's it.” Prem Rawat, Kissimmee, Florida, Nov 9, 1979.
“When Time Stops.” The Golden Age May 1980 https://www.prem-rawat-bio.org/dlm_pubs/goldenage/56/ga_56.html
The term in NXVIM for a critical former follower is a “suppressive”
“Students were taught to minimize their emotions and instincts and instead trust their intellect. Instructors brought up the word cult saying, “it doesn’t exist.” “If one had any issues with it, it was pointed back at you. All these things, I felt like, became a trap,” he said. “One couldn’t question the higher ranks. If you questioned, you were clearly a suppressive person.”
Moghe, Sonia. “The most disturbing details from the start of the NXVIM trial.” CNN 10 May 2019 https://www.cnn.com/2019/05/10/us/nxivm-trial-week-1-wrap
I ask you to please investigate Mr. Rawat’s past and present in a thorough and objective manner and respond to my concerns and inform me, and your viewing audience, of what your investigation uncovers.
I, and all your viewers, trust you to provide accurate information.
Sincerely,
Susan H

Joy Reid /Overall CNN content
Yet another reason I am not a loyal viewer of CNN. So per Joy Reid Americans do not know the word inflation. Apparently we are bunch of sheep with no brains. Well I have a few words that Joy Reid clearly does not know:
Honesty
Integrity
Respect
Freedom of Choice
Try reporting the actual news for a change: rising oil/gas prices, rising grocery prices, rising crime. Beginning to think your "hosts" haven't a clue what is going on in this country. Must be nice to live with your head in the sand. And for the record I am not a
Republican. I am an Independent. I vote for the candidate, not the party. Unfortunately, the Democrats do not have viable candidates and the ones in office are destroying our country. Must be proud to support such a great agenda.
Desired outcome: Maybe news/issue will be reported without bias. (ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!)
"CNN This Morning" is poor replacement
For many years, I have watched John Berman and Brianna Keilar every morning. Their morning shows have been low key (perfect for early morning) and always on point with the relevant news stories. They are truly CNN's top news professionals. I was blindsided and extremely disappointed with the new "CNN This Morning". Why? Although each of the three hosts are...

I'm not watching it anymore. It seems like Propaganda shoved in your face these days. Not a reliable news source anymore. Too bad, it was one of my favorite shows that I looked forward to all week. I used to respect Fareed Zakarias opinions but now it seems he is following an agenda that is being controlled. I'd rather watch CBS morning show for now on. Less Propaganda. 10/23/2022.
Desired outcome: I would wish Fareed Zakaria had more control over his show and content like he had before all the Propaganda.
I am distressed by the changes in CNN. I imagine the changes have been done in an effort to broaden the audience, to attract a younger audience and to appear some-how with it. No doubt in search of higher ratings. But it appears that the approach is to make it LOOK less like a news channel to make it somehow more "entertaining." I think that could have been done by broadening coverage--so that the same issues/topics/perspectives weren't repeated from show to show, just with different faces. But at least they were important issues (though there are often other issues that are important that are not largely political.)
Most of the anchors are readers, after all, (as opposed to journalists--a degree/experience in broadcasting is not the same as a degree/experience in journalism.) But I tuned in to CNN daily--and often for multiple programs--because it featured experts--real experts--on whatever the topic was. But now, a number of the shows and/or anchors have been dismissed or demoted to fringe timeslots. They have been replaced with shows with format changes and attempts at looking more entertaining--similar to morning talk shows, it appears--often with several female anchors that chat as much as they cover news. I am a woman, and fought for years to have--and for other women to have--a place at the Board Room table. I salute the effort to have a somewhat equal opportunity look to the shows taken as a whole. Interestingly, many men have been replaced by women who look more ready to go directly to a party after the show, with tight dresses featuring plunging necklines and often heavy false eyelashes and HEAVY eye liner/shadow, etc. One evening, one of the "anchors" was in a dress with the neckline slightly off her shoulders! I find it demeaning. Most men still wear suit jackets and ties. I don't think ties are necessary, but would they wear a sleeveless T-shirt? I was especially horrified one night when the subject of one of these all-women shows (with two anchors who share a show were joined by other "CNN personalities" sharing their feelings about the "news of the day," which was whether The Rock could be a viable Presidential candidate. One women asked whether your opinion of him as a candidate be affected by his looks and film presence? Could you, be "distracted by his looks?" Allison Camaroda literally giggled, saying "I think I could be distracted'' appearing to blush a bit. They all laughed nervously. It is an important question in some ways--there are certainly candidates that run primarily on their charm and regular presence on TV, film, etc. But it was NOT discussed as an issue that should be considered, and how we can get back to considering candidates on their capability. Please go back to being a respected news network. Or, take news out of your name.
advertising on Sirius Radio
I can only strongly object to the "trucking" add on Sirius Radio CNN. I have to switch stations whenever it comes on so that my granddaughter does not hear it. I object to it as well. There is enough "trucking" bad language in the media without having to hear this very unclever ad. It is keeping me from listening to CNN. I can't tell you what the ad is for because all I hear is the language so...it isn't really working, is it?
Your new CEO and His Management of CNN
Is CNN now wanting to dilute its news to become as fictitious as Fox Fiction? Was your reprehensible elimination of Brian Stelter only the beginning? There is now a loud whisper in the wind of the most admirable Jim Acosta's job is on the line! Is such a strong voice of the left to also be eliminated from your airwaves? Perhaps you're in making a deal with the psychiatrically delusional Tucker Carlson to come on board!
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS NEEDS TO WAKE UP IMMEDIATELY AND FIRE THE INDIVIDUAL CREATING THE CURRENT DOWNFALL OF CNN, THE NOW CEO!
I agree. CCN has really gone down the tubes. And seems to be in a ratings competition with Fox for ratings by posing for the lowest common denominator. Main Media is really dropping the ball in this Country on fair and balanced News for rating and Profits making us All suffer in the long run. But they don't care about their part in saving our Democracy as long as there is a Profit to be made. They will sell their souls and they are.
TV
Your new format stinks and Actually is as amateurish as you can get. I loved Dom Lemmon on 9-11 but will not watch in a.m. His spot now filled with silliness by peop,e who are good but told to tamper their real selves. Shame on you. Jim Acosta will be inly person I will watch. If he is forced to change his format, he too will be banished. Whose brilliant idea were these changes? Whoever, needs to get the boot. This is garbage.
The new transition
I disagree with the order, from the top, telling anchors not to use the term the "Big Lie" as it relates to Trump. This characterization definitely applies.
While dictating Mein Kampf, Hitler used the term Big lie to refer to the use of a lie so enormous that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously."
Desired outcome: Allowing anchors to use that description regarding Trump and his claims of election fraud.
News coverage
It is very unfair of cnn to concentrate on the state of Florida ONLY when other countries such as Puerto Rico, Turks and Caicos islands also suffered the storm.unfortunately the WHOLE WORLD does not revolve around the US.
Also why have you decided to suddenly ignore all the Trump misdeeds.
Very disappointed with the DISASTER OF THE DAY coverage.
Introduction of a new television image presentation
The recent introduction of a television screen image in which a horizontal image is divided in to three parts but only the center is clear; flanked on either side by blurred images.
Intended to be a "creative" presentation, it is shamefully "gimmicky".
Because the blurred images show movement, it is highly distracting and competes with a completely different image to its left.
Please...lose the embarrassingly obvious failure of a bad idea.
It does not work.
Bob Bride
We have just had our TV screen replaced caused by the CNN BANNER at the bottom of the picture. CNN, this must be happening to other TV owners. PLEASE REDESIGN - THANK YOU
CNN Hero-Debra Vine.
Your report of Debra Vine is false in itself, no research was done, She has been using her organization for drug and prostitution, did you know she had a record and pending case. Where you aware that she has several name, Debra Cahatman, Sandra Chatman, Brenda Matthew, case number [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected],
[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] CR38400 current case in Bridgeview 2000C55050001
But you feature her as CNN Hero.. No Zero, she been taking and living off of the money you give to her.
Smerconish Saturgays morning shows.
I want to complain About Michael Smerconish Saturdays show. That show is bellow the quality level of the rest of the CNN shows. The show is not balanced and the host has prejudices, he is the hidden hand of former President Trump and to top it off, he has been announcing himself as independent, when we can all see, clearly, it is not true. That show is an insult to viewers and should be replaced for a better show for Saturdays mornings. Smerconish's show belongs to FOX NEWS, not CNN. Thanks
CNN Programming
I have been a loyal CNN follower for years. Your new format is offensive to those of us that tune in to CNN because WE DO NOT WANT TO HEAR FOX'S FASCISM. Since your new CEO has decided he knows best what we want, I am taking my viewing to MSNBC starting today. That means you will lose about 10 hours daily of viewershio, just from me alone. I KNOW I am not the only one that feels this way.
Desired outcome: Given the action taken without even letting viewers chime in, this complaint will not be given any thought, so no desired outcome possible.
Lovevasia Bey 10/07/2022 I have been a loyal CNN viewer for many years. Does Chris Licht CEO and Chairman of CNN want to reshape CNN? What Chris Licht wants is fewer opinions and less truth regarding Donald Trump. Chris Licht is the puppet and Donald Trump is pulling his strings. Desired outcome: Hopefully, millions of CNN viewers will request the return of Chris Cuomo, Don Lemons, and others that made the program worth watching
Use of “Kate” instead of Katherine when referring to the Princess of Wales
Please change how you refer to The Princess in all news items. She should be called by her appropriate official name, Katherine. . It will be an appropriate step in exhibiting respect for the position. I feel this is especially important since she will inevitably be the Queen. You do not call William “ Wills”, so why treat her differently?
You don’t call His Majesty “Charlie”.
Stop the disrespect and minimizing of her position.
Desired outcome: Change the reference of The new Princess of Wales from “Kate” to Katherine
CNN news
I am a UK citizen and up until now an avid viewer of CNN news, especially since 2015. I was utterly disgusted by the ludicrous comments of Zain Asher, your Africa correspondent on 12 September. It was highly racist and historically and factually incorrect. You have so many great reporters, Anderson Cooper and Dom Lemon but two, yet she has really let your news channel down.
Desired outcome: Aired apology at least
QEII Death Coverage
The saturation of the QEII death/mourning/funeral/tribute is mind-numbing. I realize that the CNN audience is not the smartest group of people, but this British tabloid addiction is oppressive. I will not be watching CNN anymore, as the network no longer maintains an intregrity to REAL NEWS.
I thought the new leadership was supposed to put the network back on the rails, but that was apparently too sanguine.
Desired outcome: Less tabloid news would be preferred, although ratings are in direct conflict. Consequently, no such modality will be adopted by management.
