Connery Island YMCA review: Bias protocol

On 8/15/2023 at 1513PM I was told by manager at the Coney Island YMCA that I can’t use my color change shampoo (this is the shampoo I always use). It’s not a dye or rinse, but she said it’s not a “normal shampoo” therefore, I can’t use it. The policy states that you can’t dye or rinse your hair. I’m shampooing my hair. I asked to have my account transferred to another YMCA but was told that I would have to cancel my membership at the Coney Island YMCA first and purchase membership at another YMCA. I already paid for my family membership for the year and my toddler is in their Summer Camp which I have already purchased for every session this Summer. I would lose thousands of dollars doing this.
