DHL Germany two times could not deliver the same parcel to Australia.
First time (tracking number [protected]) parcel was not delivered and I was asked to start investigation. Second time (tracking number [protected]) parcel has been misrouted to Austria and I was asked to start investigation again.
First time I had to ask my friend to fill out the paper work and pay money for second delivery attempt (she has to take time off work, and cause her additional financial loss), but this time I can not do it because my friend out of Germany at this moment.
This whole process has been so troublesome and expensive (I already paid twice and asked to pay one more time), and considering the parcel was first sent on 01.09.2008, it has been delayed long enough.
I appreciate your time in dealing with this matter, and I believe it is unnecessary for us to once again to fill out this paper work, seeing you have all the necessary information.

DHL `PAKET INTERNATIONAL IS THE WORST SERVICE YOU COULD GET...THIS IS A SCAM BY THE DEUSCHE POST USING DHL LOGO...THE SERVICE IS MADE BY LOCAL MAIL AND THE TRACKING DOES NOT WORK MOST OF THE TIME...

DHL PAKET is worst service.

even destination country doesn't know where does the parcel go. they infact said that tracking no given by
dhl germany was invalid for India(destination). Its a scam goin on by dhl.

i have lost my two shipments and still no one to contact.

I am also facing the same issue. DHL Packet International is not a reliable service. Even I am having no clue about my packets. Lost 30k worth of items. Don't use it.

I am confused how tracking number works. DHL said that I can get the packet at the Post Office, how and what to follow-up? Tracking number must be mixed with letters and numbers.

i agree with all above. DHL paket is a scam. mailed pkg on 8-7-14. came to US tracking says recipent unknown. went back to germany. it came back to US finally delivered to me on 9-9-14. i beat the pkg back to the US. i open the pkg check the contents. dirty clothes-check, postcards-check, various souvenirs-check, Apple Ipad-NO!, Apple Mac Laptop-NO!. WTH?! contacted DHL. no help with paket and give no details other then bogus website that when click on contact or customer care just loops back to home site, call the phone numbers, all in german with no english option, finally called DHL again and was told needed to contact my post office and to bring the pkg to them so they can file a report. fine i'll bring the pkg wrapping that are all ripped and shredded and taped with many different types of tape that it was never orginally on there and the suitcase with the dirty clothes and souvenirs. my question is how's that going to help me locate the thief that stole my stuff. complete morans. i think its pretty obvious that the items were taken in germany not my local postal service. DHL takes no responsibilty for paket they said. i told them they neededd to change the name. They are DHL weren't they? what they do let Paket borrow they're name? complete ###.

Dhl paket is extremely poor at delivering services.Can you imagine my sister sent me some valuable items via them and it's been already 4 days now when in fact they assured me that I would receive them the following day...I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. ..bunch of incompetent people.
