There is obvious hacking of your comments system. It concerns comments that are receiving an unusual and extraordinary amount of up votes for comments that are pro US or anti Russia & Chinese, and other peoples comments that are are supportive of Russia & China or dismissive of the pro US comments are getting an unusually high amount of down votes, I have witnessed 4 - 5 votes being added in a matter of seconds, especially down votes when the upvotes are starting to out number the down votes for pro Russia comments. I have also witnessed comments that would normally get little upvotes getting 40 - 50 upvotes in the matter of a second upon posting. This is totally abnormal considering it is a most bloggers would be pro Russia & China.

Todays article: "America & 44 other countries demand urgent answers from Moscow over ‘attempted assassination' of jailed opposition figure Navalny". Commenter Chiefless, went from 162 votes to 413 votes in a2 seconds. UKtime Traveller & olganfreak also received unusually high votes while those replying received very high down votes.

Considering this has been happening for some years on RT comments, only recently has it become more frequent and whereas previously one could reports such dubious comments, under the new system one can not. It is obvious that some have access to software that can alter voting.

The question is therefore, how long has Disqus known about it and is doing anything to prevent the hacking or is it being done with Disqus acknowledgement with influence from outside interests.

When I try to comment on a Gateway Pundit article it tells me I have been banned by Gateway Pundit . However when I contacted Gateway Pundit (email) they sad they have no record of ever banding me. I have no idea what comment I made or when or what started this . I have never asked about this before today. And it's been this way for quite awhile. So why does Gateway not know ? What rule did I brake ? And how do i get reinstated ? Your input would be appreciated.

I have been being stalked, target harassed and doxed for 3 years by a group of trolls running a minimum of 4 different blogs dedicated to the behavior and using me as their primary target.
Disqus has globally banned me twice, the 2nd time just yesterday, for defending myself against the harassment by those individuals.
I have requested support via email from Ryan, starting in October 2020, he refused to help and instead has allowed my pictures to be posted dozens of times and are visible on the blog at -

He has allowed an ongoing program of targeted harassment of myself and a number of other users for months and instead of interceding in the problem and controlling the situation, he allows the blog to attack other users, colludes with the harassers and punishes the victim with a disqus wide ban.

I got banned and don't even know why. I'm not spam, I didn't say anything wrong. Wth is going on? I tried to change my pw and my email. Why are you censoring my comments. This is the USA. YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING TO becoming a communist country. I want to know exactly why I was banned and what comment I made for you to do this to me. So I would appreciate it.

The "moderators" (censors) of this public site are :

1: trolling (10 or 15 friends are helping the moderator who decided to humiliate and to harasse you)
2: inventing "spam" to anyone. (i never spammed even once, but all my comments are reported automatically as spam, only on this site)
3: that troll-team of moderation are not applying your TOS, nor their TOS, They let you believe that this forum is public, but in reality they are a private club of trollers.

If you refuse to ban those accounts, i'll never use your platform anymore, and i'll have to report your platform to a penal court.

If you need the names of the "moderator" accounts, i can give them to you. I also have their numerical identity, their address, and their real names.

Make some order : ban that people.

Look for yourself, this lady thrives on making hate posts, and Disqus is giving her a forum. Twisted souls like this want to be able to blast their hate to the world and you are giving her space for it, time to delete her account, note her IP number(s), and see that she never posts again. It would be worth finding out her real name and posting it so that the world knows that this person is a violent bigot who is out to cause anti-Semitic attacks.

I've been a DISQUS user since it's inception. My original screen name was Atomic Fury and I now go by Highlander. What I have to say is so abnormal in my internet experience, and the help for which is almost non-existent, that I'm turning to you in this desperate attempt to curb the accusations of one, sick individual.

I encountered this user who goes by the name of Miss Conservative on the Delaware County Daily Times website and we have clashed for years. But this person has gone further than anyone I've ever encountered in order to not only insult me, but to damage my reputation unnecessarily.

For the last several weeks, she has (for an unknown reason) constantly referred to me as a rapist, or Rapey the Clown, etc. Now I'm a thick-skinned individual and have easily dismissed many vulgar and false names thrown my way, as I know it's just cyberspace.

But this is different. This is sexual harassment that can conceivably bring undeserved attention and even law enforcement investigation. Needless to say. the allegation is baseless and even she admitted to another user that she made it up to annoy me. It doesn't annoy me, I'm concerned about it bringing unwanted attention my way. It's very irresponsible of any user to go that far with someone they have disputes with.

I realize this isn't the place for such a concern, but the reporting of her does nothing to so much as mitigate her activity. And DISQUS has no phone number I can use to contact someone over something this serious. So, if this kind of issue isn't something you deal with, I ask you to pass it along to some department within that can handle her.

This one is tame.

You should not be enabling the spread of covid misinformation, child abuse, harassment, sexism, racism, threats, doxing, or trolling on your sites.

Yet the comic site forums are RAMPANT with all of those.

I have complained hundreds of times to Comics Kingdom and posts about beating children or threatening users are ignored.

Please do something.

DISQUS "Forgot Password?" feature doesn't work either because by the time the user receives the "Disqus Password Reset Confirmation" a WEEK later, the URL link is NO LONGER VALID.

I post as brazos, I have an imposter ruining my reputation with obscene comments, He uses my avatar and my posting name. No matter how much he is flagged nothing works to stop it; Is he working for disqus? My profile is open his is private. What goes here? This fellow also goes by the posting name "Beckistani, he has been stalking and posting for days now and this is not his first time doing it.

I was under the impression that spam was false advertising or malicious phishing, etc. I wrote a comment recently and it was marked as spam.
What could have caused the comment to be marked as "spam".

1. It was one comment.
2. It was not repeated anywhere else on your site.
3. It was in q&a conversation form with one other member.

My comment does not fit any of the following definitions of spam:
Examples include 1) comments posted in large quantities to promote a product or service, 2) the exact same comment posted repeatedly to disrupt a thread. 3) following users multiple times. Please explain. I would like to become a regular user. Your system seems to omit reasonable answers for marking a comment as spam.

The catagory was the closest to what I am experiencing.
I am being harassed by @disqus_NGuDf9E0Ox and a so-called "Guest" who I think is the same person.

He down voted me on a harmless comment so I went to his history, chose a comment of his and commented asking why he was down voting me.

Shortly after that I received dozens of down votes in my history, he must have gone there and just scrolled and down voted. I stopped counting after 50.

What can be done about this? Does his harrassment give me a bad reputation on Disqus? Does it removed up votes.

This application software/whatever it is has infected my MacBook Pro. I never ordered it I will not create an account because I want nothing to do with us. I cannot delete it from my computer it won't get thrown in the trash. It is like a virus and it has ruined my experience of my Amazon, my Roger Ebert reviews, my hot Pilates Website. Please help!

Up til the recent few days I had no problem with the notification' system in Disqus.com. However, in the last 2 to 5 days I have been unable to do the following:
1: receive notifications of new replies/comments that are directed at my replies/comments while in before, I had always been able to do so.
2: see the new comments when I go to my profile page. Instead, all I see is my activity up to a certain point despite the number of my comments groing.
3: see the new comments and activities of other Disqus users (whom's activity is in public display and not in private mod) despite their own comments' number groing.

My disqus/predictit comment section is all screwed up. I got almost 800 reply's in my inbox overnight. 32 pages. Non are reply's to comments I made. Mine don't show up at all although I can go to disqus notifications and read them and comment but no reply's show up in my inbox or spam box. I can't fix this. I have tried unsubscribing and re subscribing several times but nothing works.. How can I fix this

My response TCM to Pat Dunne regarding the subject article was removed from the thread. To my knowledge it violates none of the rules regarding use of the site. Why was it removed? The facts stated in my post are all correct. The opinion stated is truly my opinion regarding the professional achievements of Alan Dershowitz. Many readers would certainly benefit from hearing the complete story about Dershowitz and his commitment to civil liberties. Others posted opinions that simply do not fairly represent Dershowitz's long time career.
