In April of 2016 I contacted the owner of Dream Dogos, Samir Salama, to inquire about purchasing an intact male, all white puppy of show quality. (On his website he has the BBB logo so I thought he would be a reputable business owner.) He was paid the full amount for the puppy and as of this date still has not provided me with an all white male puppy. He never allowed me to see any of the other puppies in the litters always just telling me "here is your puppy". The first puppy he tried to get me to take had so much black on it that it didn't even meet the standards to be entered for show. The next dog he offered was a 14 month old return. The last puppy offered still had spots of black. After 10 months I finally realized that he was never going to offer a puppy like we agreed so I asked for my money back. He got hysterical and told me that I couldn't have my money back. After reporting him to the BBB (which actually can't make a business owner do the right thing) and the Attorney General, it took hiring a lawyer and bringing charges to force him to refund my money. However, one of the conditions was that I not tell just what a dishonest business person he is. I felt it was more important that others know before naively falling into his trap as I did. Be very cautious if you decide to do business with this man (especially women).
HelloDear Dr Salama,
Hello ! I hope you, your family and all your Dogo’s are doing great!
I wanted to send this photo to you
to show you how beautiful Paloma is !
We have moved to Connecticut to a 35 acre piece of property so she has lots of land to explore with me!
She is the best ! Not only is she beautiful, fierce( she came face to face with a black bear, she was not scared at all!)She is extraordinarily protective of me!
She is smart, fast, athletic, sweet, loving and at times funny But most importantly my best friend!
I really love her !
Thank you again
Celia & Paloma 😊 Samir I hope all is well. I purchased Bianca from you several years ago and never spayed her with the hope of one day breeding her. Let me just say that I have owned many many dogs in my life and I have never experienced such a loyal, loving, protective, and smart breed like the Dogo. I LOVE MY DOG! Your tag line is very true, “If it is not a Dogo then it is just a dog.” I am a believer! Everyone that comes across her falls in love with her beauty and temperament. I am beginning to think about breeding and honestly, I have no experience, but I wanted to reach out to you initially to see if you have males not in her bloodline, as I know how much care you put into your dogs ?I have not fully committed myself to breeding but am just gathering information at this point. Either way Bianca does need a play partner /buddy. Thanks in advance

I work with Mr Samir and everything was ok, Thanks Mr Samir for your beautiful dog ! Take care man !
My family and I have been wanting a Dogo Argentino for 4 years before we finally became stable enough to get one. We really wanted the best possible Dogo that was out there so we researched and talked to many different breeders around the US in that time. I was confident in Dream Dogos since we first had contact and when we finally received our beautiful little puppy, we couldn't have been more happier. The dog was and still is a perfect representation of the breed. She is well mannered, very intelligent and absolutely what Mr. ****** told us to expect. We are very happy and fortunate to be a proud owner of a Dream Dogo.
After getting a little time to observe and be around the dog I'm very impressed. I have not been around the breed, so I cannot speak for it as a whole. But she is very aware for a dog of her age. I had to talk myself into spending that kind of money on a dog, but I'm very pleased with what I have here. Size, smarts and even the agility at her age is impressive. I was also very pleased with the customer service I received. I'm sure I asked more questions than most would've cared to answer. He was always more than happy to reply to anything I had and did so in both a polite and knowledge manner. Another very satisfied customer, highly recommend.
It is my pleasure. Thank you so much for your kind words and your support for the breed. Breeding Dogo Argentino at such a high standards, requires a lot of efforts and resources. Your support makes it all worthwhile.
Thank you for your kind words and support for the breed. This is my mission and I appreciate this kind of support that keeps me going.
Hi I'm looking forward to purchase a puppy Dogo argentino
But I'm very scared of scams.
We already have a lost on wait for one breeding last year.
What is true recommended?
I warn you to stay clear of Dream Dogos, he's scamming people out of money and is very unethical. I've talked with a couple other breeders and they have heard more than 5 or 6 similar stories to mine. He will take your money, ignore your texts and email, try to push dogs you don't want on you and try to upsell you every chance he gets, the price of the puppy has changed three times since we gave him our deposit back in August of 2020 he is on his 3rd litter that we know of and he has still not gotten back to us about a viable puppy for us. I'm in the process of taking him to court to get my money back. You've been warned. Check out Delta Dogos, if they don't have any puppies they will point you in the direction of a quality breeder, and Dream dogos are not on that list.
I've decided to not pursue any legal action and am giving dream dogos another chance, there was a miscommunication between us, and I jumped to conclusions. After reading a lot of other reviews on this breeder I realized I may have been too impatient, I guess I'm just used to getting my dog with in a couple months of paying for them and the breeder of this kennel has been cursed with a couple really small litters. my only complaint is that I was not notified about my place in the running for a puppy and I thought I was being scammed when I was actually just farther down on the list of deposits received. I have been promised a puppy from one of the next two litters and am excited to start seeing pictures of the puppies progress. Please disregard my above comments and give Dream dogos a chance.
Hey Johnathan can you email me at psosa64@yahoo.com? I have a few questions for you about the breeder.
No. Not recommended. Proceed at your own risk.
Stay away from this one
Dream Dogos was 1200 miles from us but was worth the trip.
The Team is totally socially distant aware but still gives a through education. Peter didn't let us take his Dogo until he went over all instructions. He even prepared his special meals simple but smart
Our Dogo is perfect.
Color like snow
Teeth perfect
Bones solid
Energy fireworks
Temperament confident but full of affection
Extremely focused. He actually cones over and sits at attention with eyes locked . He came that way .potty training is a breeze two days in and he's is headed to the door on his own.
Peter answers all questions and listens to you.
Better than we hoped for . We have one regret though. We wished we could have taken two .
We got our puppy and made a Friend
Thanks for everything
Hello Samir we're happy we were able to get Apollo from you he's almost a year now and he has brought us a great deal of happiness and has increased our level of fitness because he's so active but that's one reason we wanted a dogo lol. Everyone we meet when we're walking him says how beautiful he is thank you once again.
Darren and Joy
I meant to say thank you Peter
Peter and his father are great honest men. We have been transporting him for the last 6 months. His business practices are exceptional. If we had just 3 more breeders like him we would be set! Ours transactions have always been easy and no hassle. I would suggest Dream Dogos for anyone who wants a show floor quality Dogo.
Is it just me or does this sound like a fake review?!? Who talks like that? Gotta wonder if who ever wrote it shares a last name with Samir. Hmmm

I love big powerful dogs who if trained right never need to protect you that is why I have had Rottweilers, Pitt bulls and boxers. All of whom can be intimidating to people who have little to know experience with dogs. I also selected each of the previous breeds because of their intelligence and ability to learn and apply instruction. This time I have settled on a Dogo for all of the same reasons. I purchased my first Dogo from Dream Dogos recently my pup is now three months old and is everything I hoped for. As for my transaction and relationship with the breeder I couldn’t ask for a better situation. In the past I had purchased dogs and never heard from the breeder Peter has been and continues to be a support every step of the way.
Have you transported any dogs for them which had serious genetic defects? So you are vouching for his dogs? Have you purchased or owned one? You make money from him or, likely, his clients. Why would you not be biased?
I have recently paid an enormous amount for a puppy from this breeder. She has cost an additional 8-9 thousand dollars in genetic/ chronic health costs, came to me on antibiotics, and was at her first vet visit with me two days after I received her. It is unbelievable to me, that more people have not had these experiences from this breeder.
He is writing non disclosure clauses into the contracts he submits after he has your deposits. The experiences are quite common. People are starting to catch on
I would like to start out by briefly explaining my recent history with Dogo Argentino’s. I have purchased two Dogo’s from one of the most “reputable Breeders” out there. Many of you may know who I am talking about. I paid more money for these two Dogo’s than I am guessing anyone in this forum has paid for or agreed to pay for a puppy. I did not have a choice on the puppy I received. I was told a price for the puppy, and I did not try to negotiate for a better deal.
It appears that some people on this forum assume that the money that they agree to pay for a puppy affords them the right to get the best puppy of the litter. Dogo puppies are expensive!
You do not go to the car dealership and say here is $3, 000.00 now give me the best vehicle you have!
The cost to breed, birth, and raise a Dogo puppy is very high when done properly not to mention very time consuming. You may assume that $2, 000.00 to $3, 500.00 is a lot of money, and I agree it is, but it does not get you anywhere near the pick of the litter for a Dogo Argentino when you are talking to a top breeder. Not to mention that maybe an experienced breeder like Dream Dogo’s may know a little more about which puppy is best for which customer based on what they have asked for, temperament, and other factors.
If you want the best Dogo with the best temperament and the least amount of health issues, then Dream Dogo’s is the place to purchase your Dogo. The puppies and dogs that they sell are top quality. Believe me, I paid top dollar for top quality Dogo’s in the past and ended up with Dogo’s that died after a couple years due to health issues. After ordering pedigrees, I learned that there was also very unethical inbreeding by this breeder. One Dogo had such a bad temperament that he became a dangerous dog to have around. I received no help from this breeder with any of these issues!
Then I contacted Dream Dogo’s. I explained what I was looking for, and that I have had health and temperament problems with the Dogo’s that I had purchased from another breeder. Peter at Dream Dogo’s understood the issues that I had dealt with, and picked out the perfect Dogo for me.
We agreed on a price, and I took the Puppy home. This Dogo is the best dog that I have ever owned. He is personable, friendly, and is just a joy to have around.
I want to thank Peter and Dream Dogo’s for their ethical and conscientious breeding of their Dogo’s. I would never buy a Dogo from anyone else! To have a Dogo that is part of the family and not terrorizing the family is what I had hoped for, and Dream Dogo’s delivered on all counts.
Thanks again to Peter and Dream Dogo’s for my dream Dogo!
Who goes to a car dealership and says here is my money pick the best car for me because you know more about cars than I do? Or hey car salesman pick a car you think fits me best and I'll pay what ever you want because you're the expert and I'm sure you only sell the best cars?!? Noone does... that's the answer. I've purchased many dogs from breeders over the years and I would never agree to that kind of an arrangement. Sounds like you got played too.

I’ve been doing research for quite some time and found the perfect Dogo through Dream Dogo. Peter has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He is fully knowledgeable and experienced and goes above and beyond to ensure that your experience is best. I received the perfect puppy with the amazing muscle structure, and the best temperament I have ever seen in a puppy. I truest believe that Dream Dogos is the best Dogo Argentino breeder in America. I plan on getting more puppies from Peter and would recommend him to anyone. Thank you for everything.

I am truly please with me new puppy Jean-Luc. I researched this breed for 3 years and I always came back to Dream Dogos. I am so happy I did. It was a wild ride traveling through this pandemic but it was sure worth it. I have to try my hardest not to get another one but if I do I know where to go. Thank you Dream Dogos.

TO WHOMEVER IS SEARCHING FOR A HIGH QUALITY DOGO ARGENTINO OF BREED STANDARD, Ethical Breeder, temperament, trust, etc…Read please. I have been researching the “Dogo Argentino” for the past 13 years before purchasing my first Dogo from “DREAM DOGOS”! Sadly my dog of another breed passed away, and I felt that it was time to purchase another puppy/dog. did not want to purchase a Dogo that was not of STANDARD; bad temperament, deafness, hip problems, incorrect muscular system, etc! I wanted a REAL DOGO ARGENTINO, of Breed standard, correct bite, posture, white color of course, no deafness, etc…I GOT EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED AND MORE FROM DREAM DOGOS! Mr. Peter asked me what I wanted, clear communication from the beginning of until the end. He made sure that the Dogo that I received was what I asked for, with GOOD TEMPERAMENT, BREED STANDARD, no deafness (Dream Dogos REALLY test their puppies, unlike many sadly), nothing that would disqualify her in a dog show! I’m truly blessed to have received one of Dream Dogos puppies. Moreover, Peter made sure that I was a right fit for my puppy as well. Peter and his family socialized my puppy and I immediately noticed that the day she came home! She gets along with everyone, everyone wants to pets her and she allows it! It is such a joy to see people give her compliments. She’s smart, full of energy, I feed her accordingly to Dream Dogos and she is growing wonderfully! My puppy is now 10 weeks, healthy and what you would expect out of a quality Dogo Argentino; MAJESTIC. You cannot go wrong getting a Dogo Argentino from Dream Dogos! You too will take the time to do a review because they are that great! Peter and everyone at Dream Dogos is professional all around, ; patiently answering questions, providing wisdom, socializing their puppies which is VITAL, feeding them properly and making sure that your puppy is delivered with CARE! EVERYONE FROM BEGINNING until I received my puppy showed me nothin it dignity and respect! Thank you Mr. Peter and your family (including my puppy’s Sire and Dam too :) ) I more than appreciate what Dream Dogos has done for me, it’s life changing in the most positive way! My dog is beautiful, I’m sure yours will be too!
Is that you Samir?
I wish so badly that I had read this before I got involved with this man. It is now 2022, and if anything his business practices are worse.

Im back again 17 Months later Dario is a head turner. He is confident and it shows. He loves the family and prefers laying at your feet and having his belly rubbed . He can go from lap dog to guard dog in a milli second and knows when . He is more than I asked for Thanks Peter You gave us the perfect Dogo
Peter, your timelines are confusing. Can you clarify. 12/3/22 you say you purchased the puppy and on the saline day you said he is 3 months old you stated he was 120 pounds. The. You return “17 months later” with a date of April 22. Maybe I’m reading this wrong. When did you buy “Dario”? How old is he now? I would like to speak with you. Can you reach out? Please get me contact information. Is Peter Noah your full name?
Today I thank you for delivering us the Dogo that keeps turning heads,You said at just 11 weeks he would be exceptional he is .You said his temperament would be great it is. You sold us a balanced family pet but also a warrior who would die for us . Well done sir Dario is 120lbs and strong as ever

I hope that your experience serves as a warning to others who may be considering doing business with Dream Dogos and Samir Salama. It's always important to do thorough research and due diligence before making any large purchases or investments.acaciawooddb.com
It's unfortunate to hear about your negative experience with Dream Dogos and their owner, Samir Salama. It's important for consumers to do their due diligence before making any purchases, especially when it comes to buying pets. It's concerning that the owner did not provide you with the agreed upon all white male puppy and attempted to offer you puppies that did not meet the standards for show quality.https://www.cpacket.com/
Yup! He routinely puts non disclosure agreements in when he settles. That way people who have been scammed can’t warn the next victim.
