Ordered sample of Easy White Lab's teeth whitening product along with a similar sample from another company. Both products were advertised together.
All I had to do was pay the shipping (which is how they get your credit card information).
Both companies charged my credit card for the shipping which was minimal. I was surprised when my credit card was charged over $150 for both products, and I had not received ANY product from either company.
When I contacted this company, during the normal business hours, I selected the option to speak to a customer representative. A representative never answered and I was sent directly to a voicemail to leave a message. I've tried several times to reach them and end up leaving a message for them to call me back. I still have not heard from them!
I tried to dispute the charges with my credit card company, but was told the charges can not be disputed.
Ultimately, I am out of over a $150 bucks, but hopefully, this will spare someone else the heart ache and anger from being Ripped Off!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I had the same experience, signed up to be charged for shipping from Easy White and another company and then they charged me for additional shipments. One of the companies agreed to refund my card for the product they sent me but not Easy White. This is a scam and a way to get your credit card number so they can charge you for something you don't want. I'm sure they've made alot of money this way but I hope this will keep someone else from learning the hard way like I did.
I too allowed myself to be duped and shame on me for not seeing the tricky wording and for not reading every word of the advertisement cover to cover including the small print. I remember the good old days when a company was more interested in getting a good product out, keeping the customer happy, and being honest. I forget that that is not true any more.
You say that we have misunderstood your terms. Come on guys, if this approach was not highly profitable to you ( in the millions I'm sure) you would be more interested in changing the wording so that there is NO apprearance of intent to deceive. Oh, silly me, then you'd lose your prospective pool of fools that you haven't tapped into yet. Legally, I'm sure you are clean as a whistle and intend to keep your wording exactly as it is now.
I guess $78.23 is a fairly inexpensive way to learn, again, that profit is king for large companys and corporations and that their main impetus is greed. We need to keep the wolves at bay folks.
