Same thing, Ecco track ll new on my shelf for few years .
First worn today noticed the soles looked kind of shiny next thing I notice is the entire sole and under sole disintegration while shopping.
The soles are made of some cheap junk that disintegrates all at once leaving you with no shoes .
$170 for this stupid [censored], right what a bunch of idiots to use crap material that turns to mush .
Definitely never buying from them again .
Over the years I have spent 1k plus on their shoes but that's all over now

The soles of my favorite Ecco shoes are falling apart. I notified Eccousa on November 16th but have not received a response. A very disappointing experience as I've been a customer for years.
I researched the topic and found other customers had the same experience. Ecco's response to others was to file a claim. I purchased the shoes in question a few years ago and am not sure where nor do I have the receipt. As you can see from the attached photo the shoes are in good condition.
Anything you can do is appreciated.

My name is Richard Irgens and I now live at 117 Mawney Road, Romford, RM7 7JA, England.
I have had three pairs of Ecco shoes with the same problem as the pair I am now writing about. I have sent pictures of the defective shoe sole as well as a picture of the box. Since we purchased the shoes directly from Ecco, I am sure you can look up the exact date and purchase price.
I really like and have been pleased with my pair of Ecco Findley shoes, Cognac in color. I have a black pair as well. As in the case of the three other pairs of Ecco shoes I have had to throw away, the sole has started to disintegrate. It starts as the picture shows and then soon the shoe is unusable. I have had friends with the same problem so I know I am not telling you anything about this defect that you do not already know.
I love my Ecco shoes and despite having the problem with four pairs of Ecco shoes, I would be happy if you would confirm my confidence in Ecco shoes by providing a replacement pair of new boots/shoes, if no Finley boots are available, a pair in the boot type style that are the closest equivalent to the pair I have in a Cognac color would be fine. I have been told this type of sole is not repairable.
I have been looking at this defect for about 10 months and have not been wearing the shoes and thinking about how to replace them. I hope that you can give me a good reason to continue to recommend your shoes to others as I have been doing. You can look at our records, Rachel and Richard Irgens, formerly of Birmingham and now 117 Mawney Road, Romford, RM7 7JA, London, England, to see we have a long record with Ecco and have purchased many shoes from you in the past. I am writing to make a complaint against one of ECCO sales person namely NIRMALA in Abu Dhabi Mall Abu Dhabi, UAE branch. This person refuse to assisst us, On 04/11/19 at 20:30 my wife went to buy a shoes Article 282203 and the available pair was on display and the left piece was loose and not fit, we asked this person to check availability on other Ecco branches either from data base or via phone and she refused even we ask her nicely for several times. She is not fit to be in sales business.
As regular customer of ECCO products, Hope this reaches to a proper authority of ECCO and take an actions to avoid reoccurance with other customer.

Hello,
I have a black casual Ecco shoe that I purchased about 5 or 6 years ago. I wore them numerous times with no problem. I like to rotate my shoes and hadn't worn them for a couple of years. I wore them a couple of times last week and suddenly the heels fell apart and basically disintegrated. I would like to request a repair, exchange or some type of amicable solution.

I bought my ecco shoes From Turkey dealer. The shopping centers name Ozdilek. My product that is biom c shoes with claret red. Also I bought second boot almost 3 weeks ago After I wore them for a few days I did not able to step on because upper part of my left foot was insulted by left pair of shoe and cause Severe cramps, I went to shop to show problem and they took a photograph from my foot and they said they would inform the their high customer servicess also they said me This is normal for initial days and if you continue to wear it will be ok but I maintain to wear extra five days and still I have severe cramps and still I have insult. Now I called them to ask their answer and they said same thing means shoe does not have problem and they won’t change. I did not use second shoe which I bought same day because I want to return it because of this problem.
Ecco’s shoe is very expensive in Turkey I paid at least 1/3 of mu Salary for just 2 shoes. And I couldn’t Wear them in such winter days.
If ecco persists not to dissolve problem and exchange Tris shoe never I will buy again. And also I deliver my experience in all media in Turkey.

vintage kenton cap toe boots
Purchased these beautiful boots on July the 17th 2019 at the Ecco shop in Frederiksberg Centret, Copenhagen.
Today, 23 of October I discover a hole on the outer part of the left shoe, in the joint with the cap.
It's very disappointing that a 1.500kr (bought them at 750 because of sales discount) leather shoe tears so quickly.
It's the second pair of shoes I have from Ecco, let's hope the others last longer...
Negligence how? They are not a space shuttle.
I wear them exclusively to work, and I work in an office. I don't even bike to work, something quite common in Cph. There are no marks whatsoever anywhere else on the shoe.
If you could give me an explanation of how this can be done, I would very much appreciate it.

It is not a first time to use this brand but I was shock for what was happened to my new black Ecco shoes (check below pictures) which I used only for 2 weeks
I bought it from Qatar & it is too difficult to return it back, I feel sorry that I don't have the receipt right now but all the data was written at the box as shown on the photos.
I know that reputation are the important thing for the co. so how is that happened for a good & expensive brand.

The soles of both shoes in this pair are cracking and rubber is chipping off on one as well. I have had a few pairs of shoes in my 83 years and they usually last me until they go out of style of the shoemakers refuses to resole them. I have another, newer, pair of Eccos, can I expect to see their soles crack and chip as well?

ecco-soft sneaker falling apart
I purchased the Ecco Soft Sneaker from DSW and they have not even lasted a year! These shoes were recommended by a friend at work. She has the exact same shoe, only hers came from Macy's, and hers have lasted several years now and she wears hers way more frequently. I asked her if her pair was starting to come apart and she said no - she's had no issues. Mine are literally falling apart in three different places! Is this normal for such an expensive pair of shoes?! I'm starting to wonder if they are seconds...?

Worn my new shoes 4 times, loved the comfort, now one shoe sole has fallen apart and the other one on its way.
They were purchased from Wales about 2 months ago and last week the sole simply disintegrated whilst I was out shopping.
I've decided to take this to citizens advice to get some legal advice. After reading the complaints it looks like Ecco doesn't really care. This is a good subject for the TV show Watch Dog, they would be interested that Ecco appears to use cheap soles and sell at high prices. Shame on them.
I would like a refund.
Staggering that this is a common fault from such a high end shoe manufacturer.

ecco shoes
I bought two pairs of ECCO shoes at the Karstadt in Bad Homburg (Germany). A brown pair and a black pair. Both pairs must have cost over €50 a few years ago. I have since moved to the UK.
Both are very nice shoes and use them "for best".
Unfortunately, the heel on the black pair has disintegrated while the brown pair is very much intact. The uppers on both pairs of shoes are perfect.
I think you can see this from the pictures.
I expect better from ECCO and perhaps a voucher as compensation for the black being unusable (water just comes into the black shoes now) now is in order?

The soles of my Ecco shoes, which I bought about two years ago but have used very very little, have started disintegrating. I do not have the receipt as I thought I'll never need it since Ecco shoes are supposed to be very durable.
Should I throw them in the garbage or will Ecco need to see them? I trust that a company like Ecco would stand behind their products, and more importantly, their customers satisfaction.

Dear Ecco,
This summer I was going on a trip with a lot of walking activities. That's why I decided to go with a brand that is known for its comfortable shoes. In June, I bought women sandals (model Cruise II) and wore them twice before going on a trip. However, it was summer and my feet were probably sweating because when I took them off, there was an unbearable unpleasant odour coming from the lining of the sandals which was impossible to get rid off with different methods of cleaning or deodorizing. I wouldn't say a thing if this was something that happens with my other footwear. But these are the first sandals in my life that had such a nasty reaction and after only 2 times wearing them. They were absolutely not suitable to take on a trip with this smell and I decided to make a complaint in the store where I bought them. Since it took some time to process the complaint, I had to buy another sandals (BTW, much cheaper and not producing any odour in a month of wearing them). When I came back, my complaint was rejected twice with the reasoning that I cannot complain about the odour. In that I disagree. It seems to me obvious that the lining material for these sandals is not chosen very well, a combination of microfibre and foam even though comfortable, absorbs the sweat during warm summer months (the sandals are designed for) and releases it whenever sandals are taken off being very unpleasant for all the people around.
I hope that you could take my complain into consideration and allow me a return of the sandals or a refund.

I bought these shoes thinking that will be "athleisure" like being told by the sales person in the shop, not just look good and fashionable but also good for walking.
Instead, when I had a walk, because the sole is too high, I sprained my whole left ankle to the side of the road, I can't work for 3 weeks and still have bruises now to the third week.
So disappointing.
I would like to return these shoes and got compensation for my injury

2 pairs of shoes
I have two pairs of shoes which have had the soles and heels disintegrate. One pair has been used regularly started to disintegrate very recently - they have always been kept on shoe rack when not worn - when out walking which was obviously uncomfortable and embarrassing. Photos attached.
The second pair which are newer and only worn 4 or 5 times started to disintegrate at a social event leaving large lumps of 'rubber' all over the dance floor - VERY embarrassing! Again these shoes were kept on a shoe rack when not in use. Photos attached.

defect soles on ecco men shoes
Dear Ecco,
Some years ago my father bought me a really nice and comfortable pair of black Ecco shoes in Kungälv/Stenugnsund, in Sweden. I have used them rather sparingly, mostly on special occasions and conferences. About two years ago, the back heal-part of the (both) soles cracked and started to crumble leaving black crums all around (I apologize for not writing immediately). As I see it, the defect is not because of wear and tear, but it more looks like a quality issue. Please, find some photos attached. The result is that I cannot use these otherwise gorgeous shoes anymore.
I was requested to indicate a desirable resolution of this complaint, and I feel it would be nice to receive a refund or a giftcard so that I could obtain new shoes, Ecco of course! :-) Unfortunately, I did not keep the receipt, the shoes were purchased some time ago, and I do not know in which store my Father bought them, why I totally understand that it would be an act of kindness and good will from your part to meet this request. All the more so, it would be much appreciated, and confirm your good service spirit.
For your information, this is the second time in our family that we have an issue with the soles on our Ecco shoes. The first time the soles on both my father's and my winter boots fell apart and crumbled. We had the same model but different sizes. However, we did not file any complaint.

ecco cool 2.0 grey / paint defect from frontal stitched areas & bad support
This is Barbaros from Istanbul/Turkey.
I was knowing your brand from my US visits before but because you were not valid in here, I didnt buy any shoes from you. When you oppened your stores here, I just bought a shoe from one of your stores here in Turkey around 11.2019. After 4, 5 months with max. 10 times of usage, the paint of the shoe has been removed by its frontal area (where it has its stitches).
After my apply for guarantee to your Turkey Office, the show has just has began!..
First of all, after my appliance, nobody has ever called me about it (they say they have but never). Second, I haven't been given any ticket or something to follow up my shoe, even after my receival of my shoe(after 1.5 months) they just threw away my shoes in front of me with only saying "its user fault". No report, no email, no call, nothing!.. I asked for any written thing, but nothing!..
Upon all of those above, today I called your office to get some info about the reason of out of guarantee. (The customer Services guy, named Tarik.) When I was asking him the reason(maybe 4 times) of their guarantee result, he was kept telling me "its customer fault". Also, when I asked for my service report, he just told me "we cannot give report". It is my right to have a service report, which is under guarantee and they are not following the Law here!.. I asked to talk a manager or lawyer, they told me there isn't a manager in the company or lawyer. Can this be even possible?
At last, when I didn't believe his saying about, there isn't anybody rather then him to in contact in a global company, I asked the adress of the office to go and talk with someone. He just told me, they can't give me adress and shut the phone on my face!..
I would like you to handle this shameful situation here asap, because I don't want to talk or hear the voice of this Rude/Not aware of any law or customer relationship guy anymore.

I'm one of the biggest fan of Ecco group and I have purchased 2 pair of shoes from your store, and dissapointed to say that I have recently used the same noticing a very bad quality which has shown some damages in the shoes which is visible to our eye.
We all know the rates and prices of the brand and with due respect I would not be complaining about it since quality is one thing I would not compromise.
Just to bring in your notice I was earlier using Clark's and Geox, which was a very good brand in terms of quality and I never faced any such issues.

However I have recently come across a less than satisfactory encounter or I would rather say I am very dissapointed with your employee his name is Mr. Lhord Marcelino he is at Ecco Shoes Brand at SM North Edsa. I would also like to raise this matter to you before my flight tomorrow.
When I go to SM Department Store at Ecco Shoes brands he never approached me I knew he already saw me cause I also keep on looking at to him I'm also waiting if he will give me some information or detail regarding some leather shoes cause I'm also interested with it, well that's the reason why I came their at first but he keeps on ignoring me. So I'd decided to ask him if "Ecco is a good shoes?" but he didn't answer my question I don't know if he didn't heard me but I think he is not oriented about his job or about the proper customer service he also didn't greet me at all. In general he snobbed me so that I have decided to not buy their shoes. As a customer and also a shoe blogger he made my day so grisly.
