On 16 November 2022 a Reasonable Accommodation was processed for my course, Certified Medical Administrative Assistance, because Ed2Go initially failed to provide the course materials at the time of my enrollment and processed a course* extension to 01 November 2023 to rectify the errors made on their end.
On 01 November 2023, Student Advisor Ms. Jessica Hyde stated that all courses in my 3-course program (Medical Terminology + Certified Medical Administrative Assistance + Medical Billing and Coding) expired on 01 November 2023.
The original email from Ed2Go Accommodations on 16 November 2022 states that a Reasonable Accommodation was processed only for the Certified Administrative Assistant (CMAA) course* — not for all of the courses in program.
Please note that my access dates for the Medical Billing & Coding course were still pending at the time I completed my CMAA course. There was no way for me to move on to the next course in the program before 01 November 2023. Now that I’ve brought this to the attention of the Student Advisor as well as the Accommodations Department, I have not received any correspondence.
The Air Force has already paid for the entire program upfront. Ultimately if this isn’t resolved, I will be taking this up my chain of command and reaching out to the Director of Military Community Support Programs at the Secretary of Defense to seek full reimbursement. This is bad business, and very unprofessional.
Desired outcome: Reasonable access to complete my program or full reimbursement.
