Evaluation Solutions review: Scam and cheating! 48

I have completed over 100 Broker Price Opinions for this company and its clients. They currently owe me $1, 990 for work completed in March and $720 for work completed in April. My many inquiries have gone straight to voicemail and the email address in the voicemail has returned no answer in over a week. On their website they publish that payment will be sent in 7-14 days after order completion. No one at the company will accept responsibility for accounts payable.

I personally know of may other agents who have had nothing but trouble receiving payment from Evaluation Solutions for their services. A few have not received payment for jobs completed since July of 2007!

Someone needs to light a fire under this company. Good, hardworking people are completing a service and are receiving none of the pay due under contract.

Evaluation Solutions is a SCAM. AGENTS BEWARE. They don't pay for BPO's after you've fulfilled your obligation.

I agree! I have completed 8 BPO's for Evaluation Solutions and NO PAYMENT. I have emailed and called and have not had ANY response at all..The phone number is a joke there is basically no one to talk to even if you call.. I think it is crazy that this company is allowed to get away with ripping off thousands of hard working Real Estate agents..We work often times enough with no compensation in our field... this should not be the case when we do BPO'S...We are all just trying to make a living and supplement our income and it is disgraceful that we should spend time away from our families and away from our true field (residential and commercial Real Estate) working hard on BPO 'S and not even get paid...I think that everyone on this post should be proactive in filing a complaint with the Dept. of Labor in Florida. This company needs to be exposed... its just principal at this point, don't you agree!

I have 16 outstanding BPO's in Indiana. I have jumped through hoops for these people. They owe me over $880 since March. If anyone has filed complaint with the Dept. of Labor, have you received any response or satisfaction from them.

I, too, am waiting on payment on 23 reports. Not to mention, at least 1 of my reports was changed by the broker coordinator after the report was turned in drastically changing the value (and integrity) of the entire report.

I was able to locate email address for the "Officers" of this company and have sent them emails as well.

Thanks for providing those emails. I'm in Illinois and have completed many BPO's as well, without payment. I am going to contact the FL Dept of Labor and the Better Business Bureau! It's unfair for us to be promised payment for work and then not paid!

After emailing Evaluation Solutions today again after numerous times, I used the emails that were posted on this website by someone else. About 2 hours later I received a call from Evaluation Solutions saying they were putting my check in the mail.
I now have received a UPS tracking number so if I receive it tomorrow, they will have paid up. I started complaining about 1 month ago and stayed persistent, so this is the answer. Bombard them with emails.
I told the person who called me that there were hundreds of complaints online, and she said she realized that. She also said they do pay, it just takes a while.
I am very happy to be getting my money but will not perform another BPO for them.

Here are the emails again. I recommend that each of you continue to email them until you get your checks. GOOD LUCK TO ALL.

has anyone gotten paid since they last posted, I am their newest victim, 25 orders totalling over $1300, WOW. This should be considered stealing and enforced. If I robbed a bank they would take me straight to jail but if companies rob hard working individuals there nothing they can do about it.

I did receive payment after emailing the company officers in July; however, I sent a request 2 weeks go for payment for other reports they still had to pay me for. The response that I got was that my payment was being processed...still waiting.

I got paid for a few of them but they held back on 2. They keep putting new orders in my account and emailing me, but I refuse to do any more work for them. I doubt that I will see the last bit of money they owe me.

We have got to fight these companies. I have been a Realtor for only 8 years and remember when reports wee done by fax, 1 photo (sent by email), and they paid $100 to $150. On top of that more and more companies are not paying. We have got fight back. They are a national company. We need to organize nationally. This has to be done in masses there are way to Realtors out there just as cheesy as they are but we can put a dent in their pockets if we do it right. Please call me and we can start the fight! I did successfully sue one of these [censor] companies a while back..It is possile to win.

Maybe if we can show we can organize on Evaluation Solutions other companies might get intimidated and we can at least get a few good years of change before it starts over again.

Hmmm, let's try again. I'm an agent in NY, and have done 40 or so BPO's for EvalSol. I think they've paid me for about 30. The bpo reps can ask for an 'escalation' - every 45 days or so, I begin a nice campaign to get paid. The reps have it tough as well - if nobody will do the BPO, they have to keep on trying and I assume they are rated on how well they place orders. Anyway, if you get a few of them to ask that your account be escalated, you usually get paid fairly promptly. Unlike, say, Clear Capital, which sends their payments out like clockwork every 30 days, this company is slow and a bit erratic, but so far, I have not been scammed, and they pay more (if you negotiate) than most.

Crooks run Evaluation Solutions. Here is a sure fire way to get paid for the Bpos they ripped you off on: Report them to the Federal Trade Commission. The FTC vigorously investigates and prosecutes people who prey on others with false, misleading, and unfair business practices. The FTC will come down very hard on Evaluation Solutions. All it takes is one complaint. You can file the complaint online. Simply log on to FTC.gov and go to the complaint link. The FTC will shut them down and fine them heavily. Merry Christmas, Evaluation Solutions.

I checked the BBB and this company does not have any complaints with them. I am having an issue with payment, and hope to have it resolved soon. I have not been paid for BPO's I completed 4 months ago. If I do not get this resolved by next week, then I will consider my non-payment to be more than an oversight and will file a complaint with the BBB and the FTC. I will keep you informed on what happens.

Well then you can be #2 because I just filed one for the $685 they owe me. :) I'll probably have to forgo the fee; but if they shut them down and prosecute them it would be worth it.

I still have orders from August pending to get paid. I called them e-mail them and nothing. I will not accept any orders from them. They keep sending me bulk orders and assigned directly on my tasks. I will not accept them until I get paid and even when I get paid I will not do any more work for them. CAUTION: If you decide to do any work for them do not send them the pictures until you have completed the order. They rush you to get the pictures so they can allow you more time to turn your order in and then they get those pictures and order a desktop to other agents. Of course no one is getting paid but the agent who sent the pictures has less chance of ever getting paid. They don't pay one agent they are going to pay 2 agents on the same order. YEAH RIGHT! THEY OFFER $85 FOR A DESKTOP WHEN THEY ARE DESPERATE TO GET YOUR ATTENTION AND DO THE ORDER. OF COURSE THEY ARE NOT GOING TO PAY YOU ANYWAYS.

I also did 3 BPOs for them...2 in 2010, and 1 in 2008 that I had just forgotten about. I just now emailed all the above mentioned emails and will let you know what happens. I think they should still be pursued legally and shut down. Not only is it labor spent, gas spent...and then stress from not getting paid, and having to pursue in many different ways to try to get compensated. It is absurd.

Within 15 minutes of sending an email to the list of: Bryan Guckavan, Jim Moore and Lori Carter, I received a phone call from Lori Carter saying my check would be sent out priority to me today. I had threatened to file with the FTC and BBB and that I would consider other legal options if I was not paid immediately. I can't believe that I had to threaten to be paid. IT is ridiculous. I also DID file with the FTC.

Evaluation Solutions owe me for 10 BPO's done in January 2011...No response to inquires. Send inquiries through "vendor inquiry" only be told that they are sending to the Accounts Payable Department...and that is it. No email or phone number exists for Accounts Payable (is that even legal?) I have asked for it multiple times. It is difficult to get anyone there to answer the phone. Some of the "agents" that I did the BPO's for emails are being returned as undeliverable. By the way...the phone number listed in Company Information isn't good!

By the way, they are not true BPO's...they don't want you to calculate MV...they want MLS info to run through their computer - which has set perimiters. As you know some properties need "human calculated adjustments" - they wanted me to go 6-10 miles out of the neighborhood when I had good CURRENT comps within blocks!

I wish I saw this site before working my butt off for free!
I want to know how Imosse filed a complaint with the FTC.

They owed me for 10 that I did. I told them I was reporting them to the better BB, CAR, of my state and there state. I keep sending this message to all the Reps that called it took 3 month but I did get paid. I have now up my price on them to $75.00 a BPO and to be paid within 10 days... You can also take them to small clams court ... Do Not give up send this out to all the agents that are doing BPO's you know that are working for this company Don't let them get you we work to hard and they want it the next day... If all the agents would band together we could set our own prices and they could not refuse us...They depend on us for this info . We could put them out of business if they would not comply to our rates. Due to the gas prices our prices are now $75.00 per BPO ... and payment with in 10 day of completion.

As of June 2011 the beat goes on... This company has sent a couple of smaller checks probably to keep sending orders and then a lot of orders all due the very next day (NO RUSH FEE INCLUDED) and the orders were in severely underservices areas in and near Los Angeles. Yes, they are in to us for more than $1, 000+ and the last order completed for Solutions they accepted, didn't like and reduced the fee from $45.00 down to $15.00. This ain't good! Any suggestions?

Same as the rest of you. I completed probably 20 BPOs over the course of 10 months and they paid me once after the first 110 days. After that I faught and faught to get the chck for the remaining 7 or 8 BPOs, but to this date I have not received payment. They continue to send me order requests and I just reply with nasty emails back regarding the outstanding checks. One of the valuation contacts had an odd name so I googled him and what do you know, he was recently arrested for organized FRAUD! But he is still working there and still sends me orders...PLEASE do not do business with this company!

If you keep doing work for them and not getting paid "WHO'S THE FOOL", quit working for them. They keep calling me everyday and I give them the same answer, You photo requirements are a joke, turn around time is not enough and no I will not alter a BPO to suite your needs. What we need to do is find out who their client is?

You might want to contact the Attorney General in your state and the Attorney General in Florida ... this should classify as a scam or fraud ... not much different than the stuffing envelopes scams and some of the others AGs take action on ... also, when they e-mail wanting you to do another BPO, reply and ask the person e-mailing to call you regarding the BPO ... they will usually call and you can talk to a person ... you cannot get a call through to them and they will not answer e-mails regarding payment issues

I have done BPO’s for this company since 2010 and got p aid for the first two. I kept doing them totaling 33, however I was also doing BPO’s for other companies and totally forgot to keep track of payment from EVALUATION SOLUTIONS.

To this day they owe me $1595.00. I spoke with several people when called to do a BPO for them and they keep saying “I will email accounting and they should get back to you within one week”.

Nothing.

I complained several more times and to no avail.

I have stopped doing BPO’s for them even though they keep calling me.

Never again will I do any more reports for them!

I have performed 9 BPO's for this company since May 1st and have yet to be paid. My ex, who is an appraiser, is owed over $1000. If you call, you have a hard time finding a voicemail box that isn't full, let alone actually talk to a human being. After trying a dozen different extensions, I finally got a live person who told me the only way to resolve an issue is to email vendorinquiry@evalonline.net.
This company is very unprofessional and unresponsive. They want their orders completed yesterday but they'll pay you next year, if they feel like it. I started doing BPO's because I needed money while the buying/selling end of my business was slow. A lot of good that did me.

I have gone round with this company for a few years now. The last two groups of BPOs were only paid after someone in the company took up my cause and forwarded my complaints to accounts payable. This last time I threatened to file a complaint with The State Attorney General Pam Bondi but got brushed away by her office as expected. They said that there had to be a pattern of complaints. When I tried to respond for them, to google for other complaints, I found that you cannot respond to their e-mails! Then I threatened to sue and got no response, so I did. I Sued in small claims and the day they were served with a summons they wrote a check. They expect most of you to just complain and then forget about it. Well there is nobody out there to protect you despite all of the fancy offices and big titles. Lets not forget all of the federal and state laws. The only thing they respect is someone standing up to them. They did not pay my interest charge or court expenses so I havent dropped my suit. We will see in a few weeks time if they have the guts to show up in court. Win or lose they have to send a high priced lawyer. The court is just 20 minutes drive for me.

I am very sad that I did not check for reviews before completing an extensive BPO for these people. I had to have it done in 24 hours, and its been 4 months and I still have not received payment. I have been trying for the past month to get a reply to my phone calls and emails and no reply yet. I just emailed the three people listed above and I am hoping to hear from someone. I will be filing a complaint which is crazy to have to take my time that I am not getting pay for in order to get paid for work I have done.
