I would like to ask if anyone has ever seen this site www.bankersprofits.com - it looks so easy with info on how to earn money easy & quick... (& who isn't trying to in the current climate) but after some investigation i have found that the registered keeper of this domain traces back to this address... 15111 N. Hayden Rd., Ste 160, PMB 353 Scottsdale, Arizona 85260... & after all the things i have read above that this add leads to - i can only assume that 1 way or another these people are making money from this (or why would it be here?) i just havn't worked out how... im sure if i spent some more time i would see how... but i can't be arsed!... just wondered if anyone has come across this or has any info/ideas? many thanks.

Unsure from London England.

Hi,

I was looking for the 1960s batman TV episodes, which incidentally seems not to have been released at all on DVD. However, I found many similar looking sites advertising the same product - however, none of them had a working "Order" button and instead pointed at adsense links and cheating the customer to clicking on them.

It seems that these sites have been taken down, but the owner continues to profit from these using adsense.

I think that these sites need to be taken down or at least removed from popular search engine's indexes.

looks like a place to start a paper trail for a fake business to me. people who start businesses like this usually end up going to costa rica. They end up caught when all they really had to do was put there minds to work creating something that actually was a business.

Thank god in school I learned how to fully investigate website. Tv addicts and DVD avenue are the same company and the customer testimonials are from the same two ppl. Note to everyone if ur unsure about a site being legit if they don't have proper contact us info such as addresses and phone #'s they a pretty much fake. On this page they have a link in the FAQ sections about having a guaranteed secured system, light bulb, you should never click a link that is on a page instead type in your address bar yourself because the page will only direct you to a page they have set up themselves. And last if u are ever ever unsure google the company's name and see if there is a complaint page such as this one. Also remember your bank should have some type of recourse for u to get your money back. Ask them to file a regulation E report for you. When ordering with a credit or debit card on legit websites if it doesn't ask you for you cards security code which the three digit number on the back of most cards the site is prob fake.

I hope this was useful and thanks for the heads up!

www.getcheapsoftwares.com seems to be the same scam operating under a different coat of paint. I bought a $995 piece of software that was represented as a production in the box product of original manufacturer. I recieved a light scribe copy dvd made it china. I tried to stop my bank from paying the bill but they know VISA's business practices and said exactly what they needed to to get the payment to go through. I even told VISA it was a scam but they deflected my evidence. THANKS VISA it was a scam and you helped the thieves even when I told you not to pay the bill. The company marked my order as refunded and kept the money. It is theft and when you need a cop that has jurisdiction it better be about stolen donuts or you won't even get them to take a police report.

I am out the money and I have been banging away to find these scam artist. My bank aided the thieves - so did VISA - so did PayPal and the jokers just disappear in the night. The thing that really gripes me is that they are still open for business and you can place an order right now. THANKS VISA. Making world-wide fraud possible and ignore the customers warnings that it is a scam.

BTW - I reported the copyright infringement to Autodesk who ignored my report. I reported the theft to the hosting provider who apologized and said there is nothing they can do and the theft goes on because the website is still up and taking orders - Thanks VISA. I redacted my information however if law-enforcement wants to actually work the case use the tracking number to find me.

Recetly Josh Finer had been brought to Justice by the FTC. Sort of. The FTC ruled that John and company must pay 52K in fines. This is in liu or 5M+ which has been suspended assuming Josh and Company is not a bad boy. You can read the filing here at the FTC website. He and his partners are still operating so beware.

ALSO OWNS A PORN WEBSITE FEATURING LARGE BUTT AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN.

15111 N. Hayden Rd., Ste 160, PMB 353 Scottsdale, Arizona 85260

Unless the above address is just an address that a proxy website uses when the registrant opts to "mask their billing and mailing address" to be on the fair side. You tell me. But this Pinky woman might be behind this fake company since the fake company address registered to the website is the same address used when registering her website.

I received a flyer in the mail from www.123FreeOfDebt.com and decided to check it out. I stumbled across this page, and it appears there is yet another "company" this owner has registered. The same address keeps popping up. Glad I did the research!

Please note: the registrant of the domain name is specified in the "registrant" field. In most cases, GoDaddy.com, Inc. is not the registrant of domain names listed in this database.

I also have been done by tv addicts, should have realised something that seems too good to be true usually is! I was promised a full refund and return package, when I didnt get the refund I questioned it and was told they were having "technical difficulties" I had sent them 3 emails since in a 3 month period with no reply.. Recently tried to look up the site and its been taken down. Wish I had found this forum b4 I too got sucked in!

Is there any way at all to get any money back? or do I count my losses?
