My credit union recently changed their credit card access site to "ezcardinfo". I tried several times over several days to access my credit card balance information (as I have for years) and received a generic error message "we apologize for the inconvenience" on every time that I tried. I used both major browsers, Chrome and Edge, but got the same results. Finally, I called "ezcardinfo" customer service and was told that I need to create an account with them (I don't appreciate my credit union doing this change). I went through the steps to create an account with "ezcardinfo" and got a similar generic error message! I tried again on both browsers with the same results. This inaccessibility gives me ZERO confidence that "ezcardinfo" can be trusted with my credit card information. If my credit union insists on staying with this provider, I am seriously considering doing a balance transfer to another credit card and closing the one that I have with my credit union. With all of the sophisticated hackers and scammers online just LOOKING for an easy (ez) target, "ezcardinfo" seems surely to be easily broken into. Sad. Very disappointed.
Desired outcome: That my credit union would dump this unsecure and non-functional service provider.
