Norberto Paita is the owner of Forever Lasting Gardens. We agreed on a contract for his company to complete 9 retaining walls, a Fireplace and Pizza Oven with an outdoor kitchen all with Limestone blocks. Additionally, the dirt, grass sod
and a 6' horizontal cedar privacy fence around the entire back yard.
Price was agreed on $39, 057.00 and to complete the project within 2 months time.
Norberto always had excuses for not showing up or working very few hours. After 7 months and completing only approximately 40-45% of the job I had to fire him. He would not hire additional employees (only using 1 employee) and he would only show up 2-4 hours each day.
When I fired him he had not completed a single project, and had 90-95% of multiple items completed. He tore up my entire sprinkler system so I could not utilize any of my channels.
I am planning to file a civil suit in addition to this, as I have paid Norberto $39, 095.61 (We had agreed on additional change fees of $3, 000). I am wanting to get back a significant amount of my money.
I have included a video of the job when he was fired. I have also included all the sms chats to Norberto in this field (If you want the actual text document of the sms text I can provide them).
