We paid our trip for the Moroccan Allure trip 100% on June 2, 2022 for a September 10, 2023 departure from Las Vegas to Casablanca, Morocco. We were in New Jersey getting to board our flight from Newark International Airport to Casablanca on September 10, 2023 when I checked the internet for any changes in our trip. I found there was a notice in the Gate 1 website that our trip was cancelled due to an earthquake in Morocco. Our flight from EWR was on September 10, 2013 at 14:21 and we got a voice mail from Gate 1 at 12:45 on September 10, 2023 that our trip was cancelled.
We called Gate 1 costumer service and the costumer service was very very rude and after several minutes that we were trying to get reimbursed of what we paid for she just decided to hang up the phone. The number that we called was [protected]. The woman who answered the phone was suppose to check what we should get reimbursed but was extremely rude. We are now stuck in New Jersey trying to figure out if we will get an alternative tour or just go home to Las Vegas.
Desired outcome: We would expect an apology from that rude woman who hang up the phone and a reimbursement of what we paid for.
