My husband bought me a black opal ring from Glamira for a special occassion.
It was returned after receiving it, as the stone in the ring was cloudy - it actually looked like a fake stone.
When we received the ring back, there was pit marks in the stone on both sides - thus, extensive damage to the stone, plus, on the top of the stone, it seems they have tried to buff it and it left a pit mark on the top - making the stone look 50 years old and worn.
I again returned the ring, and low-and-behold - they sent it back to me in the same condition - no repair/replacement, and i also asked them for a full refund.
All correspondence to them is completely ignored. it is as if the whole process is automated. The ring was also dirty and the box dirty when it was received back. So the pitmarks in the stone is still there as well as the buff marks. I don't want a ring that isn't new and not as it should be. They have caused so much stress with this whole debacle which should have been a joyous time. It is also costing me a lot of money to keep sending the ring back. If they are taking so much care in their quality process - why do i get notification that the ring was received back for the repair - and 20 mins after another notification that the ring has been despatched? that was on both occassions.
there is no one to contact in this business. i would like a full refund or a brand new ring. you have caused damage to the ring and keep sending it back to me, i don't want something which should be new that is damaged.
Claimed loss: £800
Desired outcome: I would like a brand new ring - i don't want you to keep repairing it as you keep causing damage. if you cannot send me a new ring, then give my money back
