I signed up for credit card help and they promised that if I signed up they would settle my debt for half or less. All they have done so far is take fees from the money I sent them. They have failed to keep up there end of the bargain. They have not contacted any of my creditors to negotiate any plan or to say that I am part of a debt settlement program. I sent emails and left messages for my contact and no one will call or email me back. I went online to look for this company and see if there were any complaints about them and low and behold I am not the only one in the same situation. GCS told me to send money and when they had enough they would call my creditors. My creditors told me they need to hear from GCS now or I face serious problems and GCS has failed to do so.

Unfortunatly there are companies that will take abvantage of consumers. This is why doing your homework in the begining is a good idea. I am also in the debt management and settlement industry. Our company has a 88% retention rate, because of our dedication to customer service and education. We contact our customers at least twice a month. And let them know exactly what to expect. We too use Global Client Soutions, they are just a payment processor, and we have no problems with them. If anyone has any questions please give me a call. [protected] x 5125

Please be aware that recent regulations passed by the Federal Trade Commission strictly PROHIBIT any Debt Settlement Company from charging a fee on ANY enrolled account before the settlement has taken place. In short, they have to settle an account and provide a savings to their clien before the fee portion for the settled account can begin to be collected for the settlement work performed - doesnt get much better than that! The only "exception" to this rule is when you have your consultation and sign your paperwork IN PERSON - they can then collect their fees up front. There are many GREAT Debt Settlement Companies available that WILL help qualified consumers eliminate their debts AND SAVE MONEY whether contacted over the internet where fees are paid AFTER the service has been provided or the "face to face" model that allows fees to be collected in advance.

I have been involved with a debt settlement company for 16 months, using GCS as the vessel that holds the funds to eventually pay off my debts. Before I signed on with my debt settlement company, I researched a great deal and then took the plunge and chose Ritter Law Firm as my debt settlement attorney. The company I chose explained everything in great detail and I fully understood that it may be months before my first debt was settled. I had a great deal of credit card debt, over $80K. The debt was incurred due to a job loss and a move. I was paying off my cards responsibly until the credit card companies decided to raise my interest rates from 6.99 and 7.99 percent to anywhere from 21.99 to 29.99%. I was NEVER late and they really had no explanation as to why this happened. Well, I was already paying more than $2500 a month on my cards, and now my minimum amounts were more than $3000 a month and at that rate, it would take me 75 years to pay off my debt. So, I am not the irresponsible person some of the posters on this forum say we are. I think that people in our situation are just desperate and get taken in by debt relief companies that have no scruples. I have been fortunate that I have been working with one that is more caring. Anyway, after 16 months in the plan, 5 of my 8 cards are settled either entirely or with a payment plan. Most have been settled at around 40 percent of my balance. I am so very grateful for this and in the 16 months without credit cards in my life, I have learned to live nicely without credit. On the few occasions I have had to contact GCS for anything, they have been responsive and helpful. And, as others have said, GCS is not the problem, the debt relief companies are. And, now that the laws have changed and debt relief companies can no longer collect fees in advance, I am hopeful this will weed out the bad from the good. Good luck to all out there that are trying so hard to get there financial lives together. I am finally seeing the light, and it's NOT the train coming at me any longer!

I know several debt settlement companies that don't do anything and just charge you fees and hope for the best. I wish there was a way to file a class action law suite to get everyone the money back or make them pay for taking advantage of people in desprate times.

Due to an unexpected life threatening illness of my spouse, I had to enroll him into payday loan debt assistance.
We had our acct set up w/Global Client solutions and are extremely happy. We can log onto our acct and see exactly what is paid to acct holders once debt is settled, the acct fee as well as the debt assistance fee. We fortunately chose a GREAT COMPANY for payday loan help. Our acct rep named Brii, is fantastic, always responds to calls or emails, and has notified every debtor. If you do have payday loan debt you have trouble due to unforseen circumstances, please call this fantastic co or contact brii@pdlda.com for totally upfront and honest service.

I have been with Global Client Solutions since August '08. I had 10 credit cards that I used for my business. Long story short, divorce...business closed...used cards to pay other cards (not recommended!)...debt grows and grows...bottom line 58K in debt.

I wasn't crazy about the Retainer and service fees coming off the top but I grinned and beared it for 15 months while it was happening. 895.00 was taken out of my bank account each month with 388.73 going toward the retainer & service fees, the remainer being built up to pay the credit cards. By May of '09 2 of my cards were paid, both to Bank of America. One for 17, 731.89 was settled for 3, 550.00 and the other one for 5, 048.73 settled for 1, 050.00! Needless to say I was thrilled because the 17K was my largest debitor & GCS got them to settle both for 20% of the debt! They took what I had built up and arranged payments to BofA I believe over a 3 month period. Next month I will be debt free! It would've been sooner but there was a few times I couldn't make my payments for the month. GSC allows you to not make a monthly payment 2 times a year. I maybe missed 3 payments total plus just a partial payment in my 2 yrs 8 months with them.

In all this time I only had one creditor that filed a lawsuit which was Discover Card. They are the only ones who hires a Lawyer to recover their debt instead of Collection Agencies. The only option GCS would give was to tack them to the end of the line and pay them when I could and allow the lawsuit to go through. That wasn't something I was willing to do so I borrowed the money from my sister to pay them. That was the only time I was thoroughly disgusted with GCS & told them so! But I got through it.

My recommendation to anyone involved with debt settlement is to pay off DISCOVER first, they are the ones who will come after you! Beware that your credit cards will accrue interest until paid. But you still come out ahead of the game when all is said and done. Change your phone number to an unlisted number and just be patient.

I never had any problem whatsoever with reaching GCS anytime I needed them either through phone calls or email. Overall I'm pleased with the help they gave me other than the Discover card problem. Knowing I will be debt free after 2 years and 9 months for debt that would've taken me 30 years to pay off makes me shout "Hallelujah!"

Hope this has helped!

Ladies and Gentleman. I'm reading between the lines here and I see a whole bunch of misinformed people. First, understand the an escrow firm is nothing more than a parking space for money. They don't do anything else. Also, every debt settlement plan gives you the option to select your own escrow firm, which would do the exact same thing as Global. All of your cp, plaints should be directed towards the settlement company or YOURSELVES. READ what you sign...it was all disclosed to you. I'll never understand someone who signs up for a 4 year deal and then wants instant results is 6-12 months. Did you call your bank to complain when your mortgage balance went down very little in the first few years? I do this for a living and I am very good at it...I'm honest with my clients and they all know exactly what to expect. 98 percent of my clients are still with me after 2 years in the program. It works...just give itvtime and make sure you choose the right LAW FIRM.

You idiots!
You need to contact the Company you hired to settle your debt. CCS has nothing to do with settling debt. Your poor choice of companies have put you in this situation. It is sooo easy to blame someone else for your mistakes. Stupid people should be allow to post things on the Internet.

I own a small business in Colorado. I recently went into debt. I hired this company because the bank was garnishing my wages and i needed help. I spoke to 'Global Client Solutions' representative "Oona" and she told me that if I signed up with them they would consolidate my debt and settle it for half or less. It's been 14 months and they haven't made a single payment to the bank. The banks tell me that GCS has made no attempt to contact them. Global Client Solutions has taken well over $6, 000 from me for nothing in return. They say that they are holding my money in an account to pay off my debt once i have enough money, but they are keeping over 70% of the money that i give them, and the remaining 30% is going in to the "savings". I recently changed my account number, so they could no longer take money form my account through automatic transfers. Soon after doing this, I received a call from "Oona", saying that i needed to make a payment. When I ask her why the bank has not received a single payment, she responds, "It's because you don't have enough money to pay them". So where did all the money that they took out of my account go? To their unauthorized fees! For NOTHING! Also, GCS has also BLOCKED my access to the bank, disabling me from dealing with the bank directly! I finally met with a bank representative, and they we're willing to workout a payment solution with me directly.

This is corrupt! I can't believe there are companies out there getting away with this kind of thing. They have taken advantage of me in hard times, and now I'm left in a tougher spot than before. I'm living day by day, and can barely make ends meet. If you have experienced this kind of treatment, please do your part to try and stop these guys. E-mail me and lets help each other. I have had nothing but trouble with these folks. I thought I solved it at the beginning of my program and now that I am down to the last settlement, trouble arises again, telling me they need more money despite what the contract said.
They change passwords so you can't login, stop and start with paper statements, so you can't have a paper trail, for records.
You call and get corp nice-nice and confused as to the problem, like your an idiot.
They put you through so much aggravation ( I just spent 55 min) just to get answers.

I joined G.C.S. in June of 2011 and they already settled 2 of 5 debts at .20 cents on the dollar 80% on one account and .30 cents on the dollar 70% on another... At the start they said 48 to 52 Months... Now it looks like 36 to 42 Months...Thank You G.C.S...
P.S. Most of these COMPLAINANTS did not follow the "instructions" properly... I'm happy... God Bless!

Global CLient Solutions has the perfect plan to rip off people. This company has it made with their perfect little contracts to cover all the bases. Of course, all the people seeking help are broke so they no one can afford a lawyer to sue them. By sending GCS $500-$1000 a month and patiently waiting for them to settle your debts, you become impatient and want to drop out. Well, then you will lose every dime you put in. And what has GCS done for you, absolutely 100% nothing. So, if you've been in the program for a couple of years without any debt settled, and you decide to move on, THEY WILL WILL NOT PAY YOU BACK!
We had about $2500 in the GCS account and our negotiator called us and wanted to know if we were ready to settle. We were pretty excited thinking we were going to get a debt settled. She asked us if we could write a check for $18, 000 to settle the debt of $18, 000. Now, that is what I call negotiating.
If you decide to use GCS, you will have paid them thousands of dollars before they will even begin negotiating for you. GCS has their money and yours, so now you are just hoping and praying they will do what they are paid to do.
I decide this company wasn't for us and we asked for our money back. Well, we lost about $3, 000 dollars to Global Client Solutions because THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOU!
I am truly disappointed we didn't get one thing solved and plus we lost $3, 000.
I am writing this to let people know, DO NOT USE GLOBAL CLIENT SOLUTION!
This is a company who makes money off other people's misery!

My daughter is living and working outside the US. The Department of Education told her she could use GCS to make her student loan payments. I believe they were also supposed to make payments on a credit card. I didn't understand why the credit card company was always calling because she said they were supposed to be taking the money out of her account here. Finally, I told her to pay the card off. A week ago we received a letter from an Investment firm/collection agency advising her that the student loan is in default. This collection agency is now legally entitled to add fees of $15, 000 to the loan. That's nearly 30% of the principle. They made 2 phone calls and sent a form letter. The government has now legalized loan sharking. So besides being out the money she thought was paying her loan, she's being charged $15, 000 more because of GCS. I have our congressman looking into the situation, but I don't know how my daughter will prove anything as most of it was done online. I will, however be sending the information to the State Attorney General.

her student loan is in default and the so called collection company who made 2 phone calls and sent a form letter has been legally allowed to add $15, 000 to the loan. I couldn't understand what happened. Nearly $3, 000 has been deducted from the bank account but it's now obvious GCS never sent payments to the credit card company or the student loan.

You are all complaining about GCS and well for starters may I just say that it isn't their fault your money was taken out of that account. They are just an escrow account and they hold the money that goes in there to be taken out by the debt consolidation company. Yes they charge an enrollment fee and a maintenance fee, but they have to make money somehow. They are not the people who do the consolidating. They are just the people who open an account for you and then they disburse to whomever the debt consolidation company tells them to. Take it up with your debt consolidation company not GCS.

I am working with GCS, and up until today haven't had any issues with them. Communication has always been there for me. My original contract had them taking my fees out of my banking account on the 18th of the month I wrote and changed it to the 26th or after, because I get my disability check the 4th Wednesday of every month. No problems, okay. Well January's payment didn't get taken out until 2/5 and that was because I wrote them and asked when they were going to withdraw their funds. February's payment was supposed to be the 26th. Imagine my shock when I checked my bank statement online this morning and found that they had taken their payment out on the 18th. I immediately shot an email off to person in charge of my account, asking them to call me ASAP, I got a very prompt phone call full of apologies for withdrawing funds early, "they forgot". Well guess what I am sitting here writing this sick to my stomach, I know have 5 overdraft charges at $35.00 each. I am just so sick over this, that I don't know what to do, I don't have any extra money to pay this, if I did maybe I wouldn't be in a debt relief company. I was told they would pay my overdrafts, out of next months funds...thank you, but that doesn't help me now. Oh it's going to be a very long night with stress and worry. Has this happened to anyone else.

I have a serious problem with Global Client Solutions. My mother in law died, and they were still removing money from an account that was only in father in laws name. After death certificate being faxed and questioning by the bank manager they still couldn't tell any of us who they were pulling the money for - no debt settlement company no nothing. They just said they didn't know who the debt was for. Yeah - what company are you holding the company for? What debt settlement company? We don't know?! Really? I found no paperwork (and my mother in law kept a lot of records on their loan modification and other issues These are old people that got taken advantage of by this company. Stop blaming people for not knowing how to negotiate this stuff, when you (GCS) are clearly part of the problem! Answer your phones, tell people who they need to contact! If you are the middleman, great! Tell them who the heck to call! Don't be jerks! Especially when we call to inform of a death. I hope that particular customer service rep can sleep at night.
