On 7/11/19, I attempted to withdraw money from an ATM. The ATM did not disburse the money. I could not reach Green Dot Customer Service, as the number is designed to only give recorded information. I attempted to contact the ATM Owner and was told that failed transactions generally post back within 24 hours and that if it did not, I should file a dispute with my card holder. That was almost impossible until I was able to locate the Corporate Office number at [protected]. I spoke with Ms. Ivy who started my dispute ([protected]). The problem is she could only tell me that it will take 10 days to investigate; but, that did not help as I have a bill to pay and I need my money ASAP. I am trying to reach someone with higher authority in hopes that I may receive a provisional credit. Will someone please assist?

The claim was under investigation and was denied after the 10 business days I want to appeal the denial since that money was not removed by me.
I always get notification of transactions via phone and that dos I did not see any to determine at what time it was taken out.
I will be short for rent and I have 3 kids to feed with a single income I worked over 24 hours of overtime for this money and now I cant even touch it because green dot wont return it. I have had the card for 3 years with no complaints up on till now. I will be filing a police report and do my own investigation with chase to prove I did not withdrawal the money or authorize anyone else to do so. I need your help before i'm homeless with 3 kids . Please help me!

My cousin bought me a 30 dollar moneypak and i loaded it and it cleared only for greendot to put a hold on my account AFTER my payroll deposit hit saying the buyer put in a fraudulent claim saying it was not my card to load. O told them it wasnt true and o wanted to speak with a supervisor after holding for 10 min i was never allowed to speak with one. I immediately called my cousin and we called together they had submit photos of the MoneyPak card and the receipt and we sent it five different times to do different clean numbers and they told us that we would hear something back in 5 business days in the meantime my money is on hold over a $30 MoneyPak card I have yet to hear from a supervisor I was never allowed to speak to one I asked because supervisor about 20 times during all three conversations

They send me back to register card. Wont help. Cant get to talk to human no matter whats done. Call has no option, im guessing if card is not registered. March 18 there was a charge on card with Alaska airlines and money refunded but was told it was gonna take 7business days i waited and wasn't sure if I got it back because I lost my card so I called green dot and they told me yes but then it got "deducted" I asked how and they said they don't know call airlines so I did and they said it's impossible call my bank back. So I called the green dot customer service did a dispute over the phone and online. Never heard back and called again then spoke to specialist explaining situation and thought we resolved it he said he'd have money back in new card he's sending me which was total of 363.00 never got the money only the card on June 5th. Called multiple timed already tryin to fix this then they tell me because I used my temporary card I can't get a refund because i hadn't used the personalized engraved card so there's nothing they can do about it. So there goes 363.00 of hard working money gone jus like that for that apparent reason. Are they kidding me something is going on here and I worked so hard for that money to let this go this isn't right.

I bought a green dot prepaid visa on Monday and uploaded $40 in it. It is now Friday and after being told their system was temporarily unavailable to register my card so I could access my funds, it finally gave me a different message...it informed me it could not verify my information (?) but would allow me access to my money for imoersonal in store purchases only. No Atm use. And "upon first use of card OR tomorrow (which ever comes first)" it would be taking a 7.95 monthly charge! For what? Greeendot is stealing my money!

I purchased a Moneypak reload card this morning. I entered the information ONCE to put the funds on my prepaid card. After over 2 hours I contacted Moneypak and was advised that they had blocked my card for suspicious activity even tho I had only put in the moneypak card number one time. Now I am without any money for 4 to 7 business days! I asked to speak with a supervisor and funny the guy that got on the phone sounded just exactly like the man I was speaking to previously. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND GREEN DOT MONEYPAK TO ANYONE!

Using the walmart moneycard is a huge inconvenience to the card holder when applying holds and getting funds released. Recently went on cruise, two holds where place and your system applies release dates well beyond what is normal. Especially when the merchant themselves have released hold immediately. Spoke with your customer service supervisor charlie employee# [protected] with green dot bank explaining to him carnival needed fax/email to show proof of release. He stated there was no such information he can supply nor could he as a supervisor release funds until date generated by your company which is absolutely absurd to me with today's technology.
This is the second time I have had such issue with using this card. Other time was situation with card being charged twice which could clearly been seen. Having to jump through hoops just to get your own money back which is ridiculous. This is suppose to be a bank as any other and never had I ever had this problem with any of my other financial institutions. If your company want to be looked as any other bank then it should function as such. Going forward I will only use this for basic needs because its clear you don't have the magnitude of a shall I say a real financial institution. And lastly, I have never spoken to an english speaking representative when call which is also a little disturbing.
Once funds are distributed I will be deactivating this account.

On 4/23 a fraudulent account was created and the perpetrator sent a direct deposit authorization to my employer. The funds were sent to the account and I have no access to the account. I need an immediate response that my account is closed and documentation of the requested closure.
I would like to mention that it is extremely frustrating to communicate with GOBank as the options on your phone don't allow you to speak directly to a representative without the account information. This makes it impossible to close a fraudulent account because you can't call to resolve it if you don't have the card number, especially if the fraud has not put in the correct information so that nobody else can access the account. You need to fix your phone system and I need my money back.

I'm submitting this complaint because I called about a month ago because there was a charge on my account that i didnt' authorize. While discussing this charge the agent advised me that they would have to close my account if i wanted to pursue the dispute. I advised the agent that i did NOT want to pursue the dispute and to leave everything alone because i had bills coming from that account. So, he said that was fine and i made sure that nothing was going to happen to my account and he said that my account would remain open and he was not closing my account. Later, i tried to use my card at walmart and it wouldnt work even though it said there was still money on my card and way more than what i was trying to use. Well i called the number on the back of the card and they informed me that they had closed my account WITHOUT my permission. All they could do was apologize over and over without helping me. So now i'm trying to get a refund for the amount of $105.99 that i didnt authorize and they stated that they had to extend it 45 more days for further review. What else needs to be reviewed since i didnt authorize the charge. The agents are VERY rude and are not helpful at all.

These are the charge i am dispute of my card. I call them today, April 25, 2019. And, they the solution and they're going to send me a new card.

Intuit signed me up for a GreenDot card, without my permission. It took 4 days to figure out that who was responsible - Green Dot or Intuit. Both claimed I didn't have an account. Green Dot finally admitted that someone had set up an account in my name, and my refund was there. They then refused me access, saying I would need to pay for a new card, and then re-set up an account, all the while, my social and date of birth failed to bring up an account in their automated system. The first rep 'blocked' the account, and then hung up on me. The second refused to do anything until I sent her my driver's license, Social, and utility bill to an unsecured email. Given that they'd pretty much admitted to allowing somoene to steal my identity, I was not willing to do so. She then said she could try to have someone call me back, but it could take up to a month for anything to get fixed.
I know it's pennies on the dollars. But it's not even the tax refund now - my identiy is possibly been stolen and their response was to make it worse. Not better.
