I tried to call Hair Today Gone Tomorrow and it appeared that the phone was disconnected. Their site said that they were having difficulties with their communication system, which would be resolved in 24 hours, but when I went back to the website 24 hours later it no longer existed. They are totally gone. I had made an appointment and was trying to change the date. but I can't contact them. I paid for several ( 8) appointments ahead of time. I still had several treatments left, but they appear to be gone and I didn't get my service, so they have stolen my money.
Their name is similar to what they have done. They were here today (the day I made the appointment) and then were gone the next day (tomorrow).
I am calling the BBB of Illinois and The illinois department of consumer complaints. I will also call some local news stations to report it.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
The same exact thing happen to me today too! Help! They booked my appointment, charged my credit card over $1000 and now they are gone! No Notice, No Nothing! I have no way of reaching them! I never even step foot in that place! If anyone has any information please let us all know. Yes I think its a great idea to let the local news know. I am dispuiting the charges and calling my pre-pay legal service today!
After a week of not being able to get through on the phones, I went into the Schaumburg location. The lady said that the phones were being worked on and would be resolved within 24 hours (and something about having a new number for appointments, but she didn't know what it was going to be). The website said that it was going to be resolved within 24 hours, but that message was on the site for about a week. Since I had already paid and knew that the business had been in the area for quite a while, I gave the benefit of the doubt and made my next appointment (for this Saturday). However, when I called today: still nothing, and when I went to check out the website: gone. I put a stop payment on my check and hope that I don't have any problems (besides the stop payment fee)!
I would like to inform everyone that when you call the [protected] and choose Opt. 2, you will be surprised to be connected to Signature Forum...who informed me that Hair Today Gone Tomorrow...is indeed GONE, they closed ALL offices and Signature Forum is making appointments for other locations but Signature Forum knows nothing of refunds and has been instructed to have customers of HTGT call [protected] and leave a message because no one answers at the number but they check messages. I called the number and was told the voicemail is full and will not accept any messages and the call was disconnected. HTGT charged my credit card ~$200 back on JUNE 9 and I have YET to see a refund which I requested JULY 1. If ANYONE knows how to get a hold of HTGT please post it here, for I am furious!
Also, since my appointments were for the Monona, WI office location - I filed a complaint mere moments ago with the Wisconsin BBB, my case is filed and they are working on it. I hope we all get our $$ back, this is just awful.
Here is the cell phone number for the former owner of Hair Today Gone Tomorrow. [protected] His name is Donald Tietz. His partners name is Kush. Or you can goto www.miradiance.com and call that new number and demand your money back. Miradiance is the new company that was created from the stolen money from HTGT clients. I wish you all good luck.
I called the Attorney General’s office (Illinois) at [protected]. This has happened to me before with a gym membership I signed up for which never opened but took my money. Lisa Madigan took the case and we all did eventually get our money back. Please, Please, Please, if you live in Illinois call the number above. The women who answered told me the more people call with complaints, the quicker things will move because the Attorney General works mainly for the state and not individual people. She was also going to warn her supervisor that they would be getting more calls about HTGT. Please, if in Illinois call the # above. If you are in a different state, I’d advise you call your Attorney General’s office. With HTGT gone and no phones picking up... this may be the only way to get our money back.
HTGT is indeed gone. I too paid in advance and was given the run around by HTGT when I tried to book an appointment. They closed their doors. You can call MiRadiance, as I did, but you will likely get the same explanation. The woman will take you name and number and say that someone WILL call you back later that day or the next. Well guess what? No one called. I filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and also called the fraud and dispute department of the credit card HTGT charged - after explaining my situation to the credit card, the money HTGT took from me is back on my card - the credit card company told me they can pull the funds back from HTGT and if HTGT fights it, then they will go after them. CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. My charge was made the beginning of June, it's the end of August and I got my money back. In addition, file a complaint with your state's Better Business Bureau office.
I work at Ideal Image and can't tell you how many phone calls we have recieved as a result to guests showing up at Hair Today Gone Tomorrow for their treatment only to find an empty office and locked doors. I am so sorry to all of you that have been affected by this. If you are looking into a permanent hair removal solution and would like to make an appointment to meet with a consultant, see how we are different and possibly finish the treatments that you intended to do at Hair Today Gone Tomorrow, call 1-800- BE-IDEAL.
I wasn't able to pay by credit so I paid upfront by check. I can't believe this has happened. I also called the attorney general of Illinois and they said to fill out a complaint form and send it in. If the ### at HTGT are caught then we will be notified so please call [protected] if you are in illinois or call the the number for your state. we need more people for this because this kind of fraud cannot go unchecked.
