If you have a hair loss run dont walk from these people, they sell defective horrible products and take advantage people with hair loss problems. I found this company online I purchased a hair piece from this place from owner, an old german fellow and his older clown look like wife. I couldnt understand a word she said much were both pretty unbelievable pushing sales but I had made my mind up and purchased anyway because the hair was at good price on internet. Their ads are misleading. They advertise hair at one price then when you go in office there the prices is higher and they have no place to clean hair properly. There was an african american black woman that applied the hair on well. When I saw after one week I was losing hair! From the hair piece I purchased. I couldnt understand, ive have been wearing hair for 20 year this never happen I went to my country for vacation immediately contact the owner since he told me not to hesitate to call if I had a problem I call the headquarters in florida explained the hair was falling out of the piece and got the run around and blame for the hair loss coming from the hair piece the person who took my call I believe an really ignorant office worker in florida was very rude on the phone and blamed me for the defect in their bad product! I am not going down without a fight I will tell everyone about this terrible place I will get my money back there is a money guarantee online they dont care about their customer.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Another unhappy customer! my 85year old grandfather was completely taken advantage of, I have pictures of the hairpiece he received. it is almost like a joke and hph thinks there is nothing wrong with it. the owners son is completely rude and very unprofessional. I will be posting pictures of this for you to see. they are a complete rip off, and we are in the process of gathering complaint customers for a civil action lawsuit. if anyone is completely fed up with these scammers.. email me at littletmv@aol.com and you will be added to the list.
*attention: stay away from these people!*
Sour grapes.
Within the year, I purchased four pieces from HPH and have no complaint with the quality and service. I even had one piece repared due to my barber cutting into the piece on one side. There was no charge for this repair and they extended every courtesy to me. Whenever I am in the neighborhood, I stop in to say hello and reiterate my satisfaction . Beware of sour grapes. Some people are never satisfied .
I am a public figure and very much concerned about my appearance. hph has made two pieces for me and I found the service very professional and the pieces high in quality. I have purchased a piece from another
Corporation. it was equal in quality, but much higher in price. nor was the service as cordial. some of the complaints issued against hph should be taken with many grains of salt.
Don't buy a hairpiece from hph!... my hairdresser purchased the super jewel/lace front (rolls royce of hair systems) from hph and what a piece of junk it turned out to be. when I handed it to my hairdresser to put it on I noticed some hairs in my lap. remembering later about the hair which had fallen out I gently combed my hair to restyle it and noticed more hair coming out. the first time I washed it large amounts of hair came out, followed by more hair when I conditioned it. my hairdresser washed it when I returned it to her and the same thing happened again. my hairdresser returned the unit but was denied a refund because the lady she spoke to said the unit was damaged because I put conditioner on it causing the knots to loosen. this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! I have been wearing hairpieces for over 20 years and have never had hair fall out, and I always applied conditioner. my hairdresser said the lady she spoke to was extremely rude, defensive and unprofessional. my hairdresser is out the money and refuses to do any more business with hph and she use to purchase from them on a regular bases.
The worst, being new to this I went to the Melville Long island office, the whole thing from beginning to end was wrong, the size, the cheap "hair" Everytime the wind would blow it looked like I had a broom ony Head, went into a bar and seeing the look on people's face wondering why they had a look of shock on their faces, well walking out catching a glance in the window I totally srceemed so high the dogs couldn't hear it, I was horrified
I have bought from these people for over 20 years. they are always willing to help and have always gone the extra mile for me. I have had hair added, bases repaired and of course bought at least 10 hairpieces.
These are reliable people!
I cannot speak about the New York shop, never been there. However, I am a regular customer of the Atlanta location. I am more than happy with the products and services I am receiving. I have purchased SIX hair units from them and they each have lasted at least one year. They WILL last with proper care. My stylist, Tish, is absolutely the best in what she does, with many years experience in hair replacement both with HPH and previously Bosley. This company, at least from the Atlanta location, has gone above and beyond the call of duty to keep me happy, at no extra charge. I am a very satisfied customer and highly recommend HPH Atlanta.
My husband purchased 4 hairpieces have yet to get a good one out of those people. We go to the shop in Cape Coral, FL, after today's visit we will not be going there any more. Enough is enough! The last hairpiece my husband received was at least 3/4 to 1 inch longer than it should have been. It was a replacement for a previous defective one and was supposed to be a custom made unit. What a joke! A bad one too, since I had to cut this piece off my husbands head along with 1 inch of his real hair because it buckled up on top of his head and was unwearable. Stay away from those people!
You stated: "The last hairpiece my husband received was at least 3/4 to 1 inch longer than it should have been".
You must keep in mind the no hair replacement system comes "ready to wear". Anyone that tells you otherwise is a liar. THEREFORE, all it would have taken is for you to ask the stylist to cut the piece the length you desire. Hairpieces WILL ALWAYS be longer than we wear them. That is WHY the must be cut, layered, texturized, "feathered" and made to look real. Much of your dissatisfaction is your own doing.
Go on the Internet and print out photos of well known men whose hair style you like. THEN you will have "hairstyle samples" that a stylist can use as an example. :)
I have been with HPH since 2007 and have been very satisfied with their products and staff. Recently I have had a major issue with a custom made hair system and after 4 months they are trying to do their best to remedy this issue.
I am very pleased that HPH has assigned one of their Senior Sales Consultant to work out this problem with me.
I have been wearing hair systems for over 30 years. I do agree that you must take care of them to make them last."but". now of course there's a but. I recently purchased a system from hph, cost between 500.00 and 600.00 dollars and guess what? yep hair loss, just keeps falling out. I have had the system for maybe 7 weeks and when I wear it it looks like i'm going - yes you got it "bald". now your going to have to take my word for this but I treat this system very gently as it's very important to my line of work that it looks good. now I went back to were I purchased it in new york and was told it would be sent back to see what the corperation headquarters would do about it. I suggested that I would like it replaced seeing that I didn't get a whole lot of use out of it and if they were just going to add hair, the existing hair would just keep falling out and in 7 weeks we would be right back to where we are now. well supprise I was told they won't replace it. the place where I purchased it sent it back for them to look at. 5 days later I get a call from where I purchased the system. I was told they had news! wasn't as good as I had hoped. well the news was. they were offering to repair the system, which I believe means add more hair. is it a fix? I don't thinks so as much as way to say they did something. "but". oh heck there's that "but" again. they will do the "repair" at a discounted price. $99.00. so now I said, I really thought that wasn't good. so I was then told that the place where I purchased the system from was going to speak to the cooperate office again and let me know what they say. ok. now. first I don't believe I should have to pay $99.00 for a repair that is actually a bad system not damage that I have caused. so I will wait to hear what is next. hopefully by tomorrow 8/30/2012. I will let you know how it turns out. I must add that the person that I purchased the unit from is great and I not included in any complaint or disagreement I may have with "hph hair replacement corporation". i'll keep you informed. have a great day.
Well I ordered a system on 12/2/16 it took about 5 weeks to show up in Melville NY, the whole thing was wrong, thinking having the person cut it was worse, all chopped up I couldn't use it along with the unruly straw sticking up, it was sent back, here it is 11/12/17 still nothing, going to court, want money back
This " person " tried multiple times to help you. She advised you of how to care for it and would be your best options. You requested longer style of which she obliged. You returned several times and you yourself, wanted it shorter and shorter each time being advised of how it could become unmanageable and reminding you of your initial request. She never just chopped it. That was your decision to continue having her cut it. I can understand your disappointent however "she" made several appointments for you at no charge to try to help you. The last thing "she" deserves is a review that is half truth.
I have been a wearer of hair products for 40 plus years and ripped off for 33 years with over priced and many times inferior product.
I thank God for discovering HPH products. In the last seven years they have saved me over $15, 000.00 in hard cash and given me a product as good as the very best I ever found. You complainers go back to the shysters out there who will gladly take your money and have you believing that because you are paying ten times more for your goods, it is ten times better.
This is a very sensitive issue hair loss, especially so for women and I for one detest these rogues out to take advantage of very vulnerable individuals. Shame on them I say and thank you HPH!
I originally tried Richard Ferrell and paid 5, 000 for two pieces that tore within 4 months and the front net was inferior quality. I switched to HPH and purchased two top of the line Jewel Lace, which lasted me for approximately 6 to 7 months. I ordered two more pieces and they too have lasted approximately 7 MONTHS. Both systems were 599 a piece. I have had numerous compliments about my hair, two from famous well known hair dressers. I recommend their products to anyone whom is looking for an great look at a reasonable price.
I have been with hph going on 30 years and I have never had a problem with any of their hairpieces. I have tried 3 or 4 different types . they have treated me very well . their hairpieces are excellent and so are their prices. they have gone the extra mile to please the customer.
I have been very happy with the quality and the service at hph. no complaints at all and my hair piece looks good and pretty much undetectable. it was a super jewel lace front (top of the line). the only person who detected my hair piece was an older hairdresser but she had to go up real close and said, "this is a pretty good one you sneaky man."
The customers complaint is fine, but the personal and slanderous attack on my family is not acceptable. Please have this corrected.

Some people are never satisfied, that's my personal experience as a businessman. After waiting for a long time like about 3 years and after spending around 12k on hair grafting which looked like just hair sprinkled on my head and my back head was completely bald and looked like i wasted my money. Finally after an appointment, me and my wife went there and purchased a couple of hair piece and its been more that 6 weeks now, it looks absolutely wonderful. My friends and family are surprised how original it looks and very nice quality. I've washed a few times, even took shower lot of times with the piece on my head, slept a few nights with the piece ON, i did not see any hair falling apart. I am extremely happy with the product and i hope it will last at least 1 year if i take good care of it.
This product will work the way you take care, i was told not to use alcoholic products and any product having alcohol and no conditioner at all. I am only using baby shampoo to wash it nothing else and its looks superb.
Extremely happy with this product.
As long as your happy is all that matters, as far as some people never being satisfied when they are paying for the product they expect 2 be satisfied if not you should receive a refund like their advertisement says, my system was returned after a chop job, I felt rushed like I was taking 2 much of her time, now after almost a year of waiting for that horror 2 be fixed I'm realizing they think they are keeping my money and no product, now I want my money back, filing a complaint with Attorney General consumer fraud and small claims, since my experience with Hph I've been ordering from Hollywood lace, that was before they wanted 2 charge $20 for shipping, now I've ordered from Hairpiece Warehouse
Again, you were never rushed. You were back several times and were always taken care of. She did try everything to accommodate you.
This happened back around 15 years ago. I was really interested in doing something about my hair loss. I don't believe I am a good candidate for hair transplants. Long story. Places like hair club for men wanted around $2000.00 for a hair piece and around $60.00 plus a month maintenance. They also suggested to really buy two hair pieces. This to me just seemed way overpriced. Searching on the internet I discovered HPH. It sounded to good to be true. They advertised that they had hundreds of hair pieces in stock. Plus not only that but the owner was a customer to. Well, I was desperate and wanted to remain positive. I wanted to believe. Really what sold me was the photo of Bodo. 99% of all hair pieces have way too much hair. I only wanted just enough hair to match the way I looked. In the photo and the video they sent me Bodo had just enough hair. I called an made my appointment for their Ft. Myers location. It was a good seven hundred mile drive. I thought I'll make a vacation out of it and go to the beaches. I was met at the door by a very nice young girl, she was the stylist. Bodo's wife came in and the three of us talked. I asked about the hundreds of hair pieces in stock. I never saw even one. I was told I would need a customized hair piece and the price went up to $800.00. I really wanted to see Bodo and his hair piece. Bodo soon came into the place. He is German. He said that he doesn't wear a hair piece. What he did was shave the top of his head and he wore a hair piece for the ad and the video. At that moment I should have ran out the door but I still wanted to believe. So they fitted me and sent out their order to an Asian country to have it made. I waited and after it did not arrive I phoned and talked to the stylist. She said she had it and that she really wanted me to come back so she could cut it in. I told her to send it to me and she did. After getting it I really felt that I didn't get what I wanted. I again called the stylist and she said once it is cut in it will look totally different. I called everybody in my area and they told me because I didn't buy it from them they were not interested. I am convinced there is nothing anyone could do to make this hairpiece look right. What I learned is to stay local. Most hair stylist at mom and pop offer hair replacement much cheaper than the corporations. 99% of all hair pieces are custom made.
I don't understand most of these posts. simply stated: I am very satisfied with their hair systems. they are superb. first time I purchased I flew in and this was the best thing I did. everything was measured and well worth the cost of flying in twice (fitting and final cut). I also had one repaired adding more hair and it was permed. turned out to be fabulous! I have been a customer for over 10 years and even though I sometimes deal with another hair replacement vendor, hph and my other vendor are both outstanding. I have shopped around a lot, and I am experienced with other vendors. again, hph is very good and I defend them wholeheartedly. sorry to disagree, but my experiences have been very good to excellent. perhaps years ago the hair systems they sold lacked quality control. but, this has never been my experience with hph.
Been going to rachel in long island ny office for about 3yrs. my 2 pieces are now on 2.5 yrs. old. rachel taught me to take care of the piece and keep it clean. no one knows i'm bald.
You need to spend the time cleaning and thoroughly washing the piece at least once per week. I used to go to the hl in weston ct and paid $1200-$1500 for the piece and then $160 per month for maintenance. now I pay $1200 every 2-3 yrs and $20 every 5-6 weeks for a haircut at a barbershop. hl convinced me only a hair replacment place could cut your hair correctly. wrong! don't waste money and time at a club type place. anyplace that tells you only they can cut your hair and charge a ridiculous amount for a haircut should be seriously avoided. hph is a great business with employees that really care about their customers.
This company sucks!..the owner and his son area joke!
Full time sacmmers. These people are maikin over size hair peice with permed hair with out any knowledge of the customers. Getting signed by their hair styler from the customers. If some file law suite they can show that customer was fully satisfied with their product. Do not contact these rogues. Speacially Kristine in Florida office. She is a real time biitch not listening the cleint and thinking that she correct. I am gonna teach lesson to this bith.
I have now started a small claims action against hph melville long island, they think they can keep my money as well as that horrible mop I paid for, you have to pay an extra $100 to use these middle people, along with cute, because I didn't know better I believed what I was told to b the cap size, wrong, when wind would blow the whole d thing would fly up, now i've gone to hollywood lace and get the right size 10/ 9 with six inch hair that way it goes down and not worry so much about the flying mop
I had the opposite problem the system was 2 small, had it been oversized I would have maybe satisfied, they ordered a size 7, what I need was at least a eight by ten, but then again the so called hair was unruly, sticking up all over the place I found myself sniping Evey day
Hph is a great company. I began losing my hair in my forties and after several hair transplants my donor area was completely depleted. the problem however did not go away as I continued to lose more and more hair and over the years. after trying the shaved head 'convict look' for awhile, I turned to my last option of wearing a hair piece.. spending 5 k on two hair pieces from richard ferrell that were terrible, I almost lost all hope until I turned to hph. I was stunned in how realistic the hairline looked after having it styled not to mention the reasonably priced product (500). the real exciting part however was receiving so many compliments of how great my hair looked from togetal strangers. I must admit that I got a kick out of recieving compliments about my hair that I had'nt heard in years! the real test, however was when I met videll sassoon shortly before he passed away and he could not tell I was wearing a hair piece! I knew then that I had found the right hair replacement product!. currently at age 59, (yes that is me in a recent selfie), hph has allowed me to look years younger than my chronological age. thank you hph and keep the fountain of your flowing! your products have given me a new lease on a youthful appearance!
I am a professional and at times I get a good piece but mostly there product falls apart so I use them as my low end line. Their are much better products for men out there and I hate to say it but their customer service does suck big time...

Try going to the office in Levitown NY. Ask for Rachael. She is phenomenol! I have purchased 4 pieces over the last 7 years. They are all in great shape because I followed her directions on how to care for them. Yes, they do lose hair over time and that is normal. Before HPH I went to a local guy who scared me into believing that I needed to go back to him every month for a haircut and style and also that tape wouldn't hold my piece in place in a high wind. I have been in 30 and 40 knot winds with no problem. He was charging me $150/ month...12 times a year is a lot of $$. Rachael taught me that I could go to a regular barber and told me what to tell the barber. My haircuts went from $150/month to $25/month. These people and their product can't be beat. I would not order online. Hairpieces are better matched to your color if you go into the office. Hope this helps. Thanks Rachael and NOBO
I have used the Farrell systems in L.A. and they cost 5 thousand for two, and they never looked as good as HPH five hundred dollar system. The fact is some hiar is going to fall out over time, and even the best pieces are at best good for six months, after that the invisible netting begins to wear and show visible signs that have to be camoflauged a bit to prevent detection. I have ordered from several different companies, but for the price and quality HPH is the best. Not even Videll Sasson himself could tell I was wearing a hair piece when I met him a year before his death chatting in Beverly Hills. I recommend HPH for the best cost/quality combination. I recommend you order two to three a year and you will always look your best.
I agree 100%. HPH has done me right for 5 yrs. and cost 1/4 of what Hairclub for men was going to charge me without the bogus monthly maintenance fee. I have had the same 2 lace front hairpieces (I switch them out weekly) for the last 5 yrs. I paid less than $700 for both hair pieces because they had a buy 1 get one free promotion back in 14. I just don't see how it gets any better than that as far as bang for your buck. I couldn't be happier with my experience.
I have been through a lot trying to recover my lost Funds, Lawyers and their stress, with no hope of achieving success until i was introduced to Ryker, who in days was able to recover my funds which i thought could never be recovered, cant still believe it all happened in just 3 days, He made it all possible.Cant keep it all to my self, if you have the same issue, feel free to contact Ryker on coin-recovery@mail.com
I have to say that I have been nothing but pleased with HPH. Hairclub for men charged 3 times the amount and an additional maintenance fee per month. I have had 2 hair pieces from HPH I have used for the last 5 years from HPH. Thats right, 5 yrs. I switch them out (lace fronts) and they have been flawless. I just don't understand the negative reviews. I ordered online and within a week both were delivered to my door. I went to a local hairdresser who specialized in fitting and cutting and she did a good job with everything. I think I paid $800 for both hair pieces and I have not had to replace them in 5 yrs. Pretty damn impressive and how can I possibly complain with those results. I have gotten to the point where I do all my own fitting now and even sow in new clips if needed. I guess I am either lucky or else all these other people don't fully understand hair systems and how they work. lol. If you look around and shop the competition, you will see that HPH is probably the best as far as price and quality. To be fair I haven't ordered any systems from them since 2014, but it is hard for me to believe the quality has gone down that much. They were as professional as I have ever experienced sending me a complete free hair kit and color matching kit in the mail to completely make sure you get exactly what you need. They also sent me a follow up email to see how everything was going and had a full 60 day money back guarantee at the time for any defective issues. My advice is to order the hair system and right color from HPH and find someone in your area to do the cut and fit. There are many hairdressers who specialize in them. It sounds like the people who got taken were a victim of a 3rd party who did the fitting under the guise of being affiliated with HPH. If you are paying over $600 per hair piece, you are paying TOO much. Don't get taken to the cleaners by scam artists who say they are professional fitters and will order the hair piece for you. Order the hair piece and then get it cut by a stylist in your area, not affiliated with hph. It is as simple as that.
The worst customer service ever! I have been a wholesale customer for 12 years. Since Covid when they started having production problems they became arrogant and defensive. They started calling you back days after you placed an order to confirm to give you some B.S. on an estimated time delivery. It would never be accurate. Last one took 6 months! The units only last 3 months. They are unapologetic that they take your money up front and keep it for themselves to run their crappy business. Every other business charges you after it’s shipped! I just got fired by Norman as a customer today because I dared to criticize how they do business and treat the customers. NEVER do business with these people! There are many other places to do business for hairpieces on the web. And so far everyone I have spoken to at other places have been lovely. I even found one who has the piece in stock and I’ll get it next week! Bye Bye HPH!
