Title: Canadian IBM Fraud Charge
Expected Outcome: Reverse the mistaken and charges for [protected] in September and October. Our support case number is CS3612422 in Canada.
In July of 2023, we signed up for the IBM Watson AI service in Canada after being lured in by a one-dollar deal to try Watson. However, we found it to be overly complicated and difficult to use, so we canceled the subscription immediately. Throughout the registration and cancellation process, we did not receive any additional assistance or support from IBM Watson, such as human support or chatbot, as such services are not available on the IBM Canada website.
Although we had cancelled our Watson service with IBM in July, they continued to keep our account active. This resulted in us getting charged in September and in October without our consent or knowledge.
We contacted IBM support to cancel our service on October 12th, 2023. Our support case number is CS3612422, and our contact person is E. However, we followed up twice with Mr. M. for additional file submission but did not hear back from him since October 20th, 2023.
We were extremely disappointed by the business conduct of IBM Canada. They lured us in with a deal for one dollar, but then charged us two large amounts. On top of that, they ignored our emails. We strongly believe that their unethical business practices led to fraud, which has negatively impacted and trapped us. We are determined to fight for our consumer rights and want to escalate this case to IBM US support. Please find attached our conversation record with IBM support personnel on October 12th, along with two invoices from IBM for services that we never used.
We will appreciate your understanding and support.
Claimed loss: $2600
Desired outcome: Please refund
