I purchased a Todd English 7 piece cookware set from HSN approx. 1 year ago. As the defective pan was part of a set HSN directed me to contact Ingenious Design, a company that takes care of a number of products. The cookware has a lifetime warrantee so I felt confident that the defective fry pan in the set would be replaced with little to no problems. Unfortunately, every attempt on my part to contact Ingenious Designs resulted in utter frustration! On one occasion, I was on hold for 22 minutes only to be answered by an electronic voice mail machine. I sent the defective pan back along with detailed information regarding the original order. My instructions were extremely precise and easy to understand. Three months passed and I finally received a package from them only to find that they sent the WRONG PAN! I am thoroughly frustrated and feel that Ingenious Design LLC is anything but Ingenious! I've called and left messages and also contacted HSN about this, but no one has been able to rectify this issue. This company is giving the products they represent such a bad name! Todd English, Esteban, Joy Mangano - get as far away from this distribution company as you can! As for me, I won't be purchasing anything else that is connected to Ingenious Design LLC ever again!
I ordered the joy mangano 2in1 superchic vacuum cleaner w forever fragrant in september 2015,
after i received it, i noticed that there was not a floor brush in the box as the illustration shows.
After 3 calls to hsn, a representative gave me a number to contact ingenious designs. After 4 calls to them over a period of 1 month and a half, a woman that answered the phone told me that the vacuum has no floor brush that goes to it. I called a week later because i knew that the answer was incorrect, because there is a slot for a floor brush.
The person that i spoke to that time informed me that i could return it and that they would send a return label.
I am physically disabled due to a stroke is the main reason why i purchased it, and when joy stated that her mother had a stroke and that's why she designed this item. I can't package it up and ship it. The label took about a month before i received it and my grand daughter have thrown the box away! i purchase a lot of things from hsn and joy mangano and the others, but i will be more selective now.
I purchased a Joy and Iman bag in Dec of 2015 and it is absolute junk. It's supposed to be "leather." Well I don't know what kind of leather it is, but it's no kind of leather I've ever come across. It's bonded onto cardboard or something and overall looks very cheap. I wish I had sent it back to HSN within the 30 day time frame. Initially I liked it very much and decided to keep it because it is so well organized inside. It has a place for everything! Because of the organizational quality I initially gave it a very good review on HSN but I wish I could remove my review and replace with an updated one. Why? Because the overly stiff handles cracked. They are so stiff that they cracked at the bottom by just the act of straightening them for normal use of the bag! I don't haul bricks to work so it's unreasonable the handles cracked like this. The material on the handles seems to be some sort of plastic. I've included pictures of all four areas where cracking is occurring, some areas more than others. My advice? Steer clear of these bags and buy one at Target for less than half the price.
In February I purchased the Joy Mangano 2 in 1 vacuum with the forever fragrance . Being it was winter I used it as an upright to pick up crumbs, hair in the bathroom. Happy with the product. Then in May decided to disconnect the handle and use it to vacuum the inside of my car. That was when I discovered that I did not have a crevice tool. It showed one in the manual but I had none. I called hsn and they said it was only guaranteed for 60 days and that I should call ingenious designs, the company who makes them. (joy Mangano). Without the crevice tool its not a 2 in 1 vacuum. Its just a 1. An upright. Not a portable small vac. I will call on the next business day and see where I get. I have purchased tons of huggable hangers and had just a few break. From reading all the above complaints I hope my call is successful. As far as the forever fragrance disks that gets put in the 2 in 1 vacuum, well I think they are useless. I hardly smelled the fragrance after the first time I used it and I bought an extra pack of fragrance disks because it sounded good. Easily fooled I guess. I mean while vacuuming do I really need to smell something?
I purchased 4 Simply Ming Air Fryers, 1 for myself and one for each of my children for Christmas last year. I am very unhappy with them, 2 of them have a plastic odor and taste and cant get rid of it. The other 2 worked fine for about 1 month and then the inside turned black, and sticks and you cannot get it clean. I called HSN but they said I had to use this site. I tried calling but never got a call back. Almost $400.00 and they are not usable. They sure are not what Ming said they were. very unsatisfied, and now afraid to use HSN again. I agree with the fragrance sticks, they are worthless and have no smell. Did not even try to complain knowing it does no good. I have had somethings from HSN that I love, but think their policy is very unfair. djhays
I purchased the Joy Mangano JOY lightweight TuffTech Luggage Set for Life with SpinBall Wheels in Purple February 18, 2017 that has a 10 year warranty. I thought it was a good offer until a few weeks ago when I used the 25" piece of luggage and the zipper was damaged and I called HSN who referred me to Ingenious Designs who turned out to be not ingenious at all. At first they said they would replace the piece in 30 days so I sent pictures for the to see the damage. Today 6/15/2018 I received a call saying they no longer have this luggage in stock and do not know if they will have it again and is offering a small credit. I feel that the offer of a 10 year warranty is false advertising and this company should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. Bottom line I am stuck with a damaged piece of luggage while Joy Mangano have money as for the huggable hangers they are a waste of money and HSN is in on her profiting off of innocent customers. I will never purchase Mangano products again and would not recommend it.
It's all to her gain and my loss. I hope that every dissatisfied customer Business Bureau with a hope that these dishonest practices could be stopped. Attached is a picture of the luggage.
