Hi, this man has taken our damage depiost for a house we were going to rent and then he never answered our phone calls and havent talked to him since. He is a fraud! and i would like help to et my $1000.00 dollars back please do something about this guy. This happened in september 2nd 2009

jack lukwunski is living in grande prairie, alberta. he owes money from a house reno he made us pay for and when we took him to court we won...now he is avoidig us and being shady by picking up my calls then he says he will call us back and he doesnt. he also owes us for utilities because i was renting the upstairs of a shared home. the tennants that lived downstairs moved out he didnt pay any of te bills at all so we were stuck with them. jack told us to pay them and he will reimburse us for half the bills but hasnt, now i have to take him to court again. i would advise not to rent off this man unless you would like to lose money.

We have rented from Jack for 2 years now and he has been an exceptional landlord . He is a very compassionate and empathetic person who helped us when we were having financial difficulties. There are two sides to every story. I value that we live in a country that allows freedom of speech but when it leads to slander of an innocent person's reputation it becomes an inconvenience.
Jack Lukwinski is a very Shady man, and i am not sure if he plays stupid or if he actually is. He now works with a man named Alex Gressil. One being no better then the other. We were excellent tenants, Never late with rent or paying the water bill. He owes us 2200.00 dollars and only gave us 800.00 of it back. He owes us for dd, cat dd, bills owed from kids renters that lived below. Those bills are dating back till march last year. He gave me his word he would write us a cheque and never did. He also owes us for water deposit. He is a crook. He would tell us on thing then his story would change the next time we spoke. He never returned calls and if he did happen to answer he never had an answer for anything...! If you are renting from him don't even clean cause even if you clean, literally, every inch of that place and it is in cleaned condition when you move out then when you moved in, like us, he still keeps your money...forgive me but that is big ###. I am a landlord as well and i have respect for my tenants if they have respect for me. We are taking him to court as well, and i have all my t's crossed and i's dotted. I am not worried one bit about winning against this man in court. I recommend that if anyone is having problems with him to go to service Alberta, the number for Edmonton is [protected]. There is no lawyer, just the judge and the landlord and tenants. It will cost you 75 dollars up front but Jack will have to pay you the cost of that back. So it really is a win win situation. There is so much more i could say about him but some things are better left unsaid. Once i have won in court i will be coming back to this site to attach the 40 some pictures i have of our spot less place we rented.
Totally agree Jack and Alex are slumlords, They dont know if they are coming or going or even left yet. They owe me a bunch of money and I will see their a$$ in court. Maybe they should get their mail ordered brides to run the show, cause pretty soon they won`t be able to pay for them. Business men they are NOT
We were also the unfortunate recipients of similar circumstances - we did not receive our damage deposit returned when we moved from the premises when our lease was up for renewal - he also sent us a bill trying to get an additional $700 for damage that was pre-existing (walls were not patched or painted when we moved in and he said his painter would fix all damage and we never seen him in 12 months). He also avoids phone calls when there is a major problem with the unit. His units are set up as shared utilities - the downstairs tenants had the gas cut off due to arrears that were existing before or tenancy and we were forced to put power and gas in our name - we have only collected $100 in payment over the course of 10 months for the downstairs tenants 50% share and Jack was unwilling to help or reimburse us any of the cost which set us back financially. It was unfortunate for us that we did not do our research before signing the lease and I strongly encourage all prospective tenants to be proactive and research any potential landlord before signing anything. He also posts ads under the name Worldwide Estates on Kijiji.
Jack kept $1500.00 of our damage deposit when we moved out of house stating damage and dirty house! We are clean people. We kept the house clean and was clean when we moved out! He is a crook and very shady person.
