JAVED ALI - TEAM ALI review: Reco complaint 1

Real Estate Council of Ontario is investigating complaint our family filled in November 2013 against Javed Ali (Team Ali) and his team member Aman Sethi of Re / Max, and Bhshan Bupta of Right at Home Realty, located in Mississauga. These three agents were parts of elaborate scheme of lies, deception and we occurred heavy financial loss. Javed Ali and Amen Sethi advised us to buy two properties last year which they had listed and advised us not to do any inspection on them as they knew the properties but we later found out these properties had major issues which they were aware about. The inspector we hired after the closing even went as far a calling one of the properties a Lemon. They sold the properties well above market value advising us that is the true value. We later discovered they sold us the properties nearly 30K over market value. We also later discovered both of agents had self interest in both properties and profited from the sale as person selling the house was a straw buyer. One house Javed Ali and Aman Sethi purchased in April 2013 for $380, 000 as it required major renovations. Javed Ali paid for subpar renovations which started to fall apart month after w purchased the house. There were many documents RECO showed us that had our initials and signatures forged or photocopied on documents.

RECO investigator is in the process submitting the finding to the registrar for them to decide on disciplinary action.
