I saw an ad on t.v. re: the new foam-in color from John Frieda, so I tried it. I have been using color shampoos for over 30 years so I'm very familiar with them. This one is different b/c it is foam instead of liquid, so I read the directions carefully and applied as instructed. I noticed my hair was really stiff and crunchy after rinsing the color out and before I used the conditioner that came with it. My hair felt okay after I used the conditioner, but when I saw the color I could not believe it. My hair is naturally blonde and I use color to keep it blonde and to give it more body and shine. After using the John Frieda foam #9N Light Natural Blonde my hair is more brown than blonde and it is dull without any body or shine. It looks absolutely awful. This product is the worst color I have ever used and the foam was not as easy to apply as the other products. It took longer to apply and really ruined my hair. I also found that my hair is falling out now, so I'm not sure how much damage it has actually done since I only used it two days ago. It is a horrible product and I hope it is taken off the market asap. I will never use John Frieda products again.
I also used a few john frieda products and all times very disappointing. It doesnt do what it says. Shampoos and conditionerss useless. Im from johannesburg S.A and product is expensive and waste of money. Wont be buying anymore. Rather stick to cheaper better working brands
Omg...i have to apologise to john frieda...i tried a new product which a fren suggested. Absolutely love it. Tried it this evening...called brilliant brunette liquid shine illuminating shampoo and conditioner. Made my hair silky soft. Guess more i use it ...it will get that healthy shine
I too used John Freida blonde shampoo and conditioner, and after the second wash, noticed that my face felt burnt afterwards. After a few more washes, the short, wispy hair on the front and side of my face fell out, but then it got worse when I noticed that my eyebrows had disappeared. That was over two years ago, and my eyebrows haven't returned, but the sides of my hair are very slowly starting to grow back. Like FLgranny I will never again, ever use this product!
Don’t use the ease fizz broke all my hair
