This company and it's employees and or owners are extremly rude. (Kelly and Dave) called them left messages no return phone call. Finally talked to Kelly, keep in mind that all I ordered was a replacement gas cap! Asked him after 2 weeks of nothing in the mail and no charge to my bank card said he will send in a week and still nothing A GAS CAP! now, can you imagine trying to get warranty coverage or something more substatial than a gas cap. Damn I'm glad I bought mine from some gal in SF that lost interest in it for $400.00 or I would be very concerned. I hope I never have to deal with this company again. So, if you have one of these bikes do not ever need any after sales service since it does not exsist. Cheap quality too. Good thing I have a welder My frame has broken several times(see pics) Have fun. HardKnocker of Modesto, Ca
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
The owner of Kikker5150, Kelly, has always been a stand up guy with all of my dealings with him, which I can assure you far out number the dealings you have had with him. There has to be more to this story... and how in the world can you blame the manufacture for the poor quality of bike you bought on craigslist for $400?! There is a reason it was only $400, because it was beat to heck by the first owner! My friend bought a piece of crap 81 Yamaha salvaged, he doesnt blame Yamaha for it!
Either way, this goes to show the importance of buying your bike from an authorized dealer, have a problem? CALL YOUR DEALER

WOW! No offence, but I STRONGLY DISAGREE with the unhappy, (second-hand), Kikker owner... I've beem in the customer service field as a "Customer Sevice Consultant" for over twenty years and, to be completely honest, I HAVE NEVER delt with a dealer or manufacturing company that was so polite and so willing to take time out of their day to help me with my purchase! I called Kikker and spoke with both Dave and Kelly, (well over a dozen times), just to discuss mods & upgrades BEFORE making a purchace . After purchacing, assembling and test riding my 200cc Kikker, I have found no valid reason for such accusations. I've had my bike for about 7 months now without a single problem. I work 35 miles away from my house and ride to work every day. In San Diego it doesn't rain much so you can imagine how many miles my bike has on it already.
Please understand by no means am I calling you a liar or a fatmoth and Im definately not trying to insult you! I am, however, suggesting that you look at the facts you have stated before you get upset at the manufacturing company.
FACT:You bought a USED kikker for $400. (That didn't seem odd? Did you make any inquiry as to who was riding it or how it was ridin? WAS IT ABUSED?)
FACT: After NOT recieving your gas cap, you STILL WEREN'T CHARGED FOR IT.( so why are mad about that?)
FACT: You stated that you have a welder and yet the frame has still broken many times...(hopefully this isn't an example of your welding qualifications)
FACT: You saved $1600 plus shipping, ($150) when you bought the bike that had obviously been misused. So, I'm positive you could have put $800 back into it and still got a deal...(before tax my bike sells for $1999+ shipping)
Unfortunately, you bought a "lemon". But you bought it from a second party not Kikker. Nobody likes to hear it when they've made a mistake, but you are placing blame on the wrong person...YOU AND ONLY YOU made the choice to NOT buy from the manufacturing company, therfore, you can only blame yourself for this unfortunate situation.
Signed,
A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER.
Again, thanks for your time and help guys.
OK, this is a Complaint website. I get that. Some legitimate complaints, but lets be honest, my God there is a hell of a lot of [censored] whiners on here.
+1 what the other two people said about buying used vs. new from the dealer. Did it come with a transferrable warranty? NO!
You start off and right away I can tell you have this HUGE attitude. The world is supposed to STOP until MY PROBLEM is solved. Well, it doesn't always work that way. Sometimes you have to be patient, polite and OH NO, you may even have to find another solution to your widdo pwobwem. WAAAAAAAAAAA!
Gas caps are easily found a number of places. What happened? Did you lose the one that came with the bike? Oh, it didn't come with the bike? Hmmmm...that's a red flag right there. How the heck could you lose that? It should always BE ON THE TANK! Doh!
People running a business are extremely busy WITH THEIR ACTUAL CUSTOMERS. The fact that some joker calls up and harrasses them over and over and over just further alienates them.
Grow up! You are the worst kind of spoiled rotten, self-centered idiot who is quick to blame others.
I bought several kikkers from these people. it is a nightmare. Out of 14 bikes I have recieved only 3 mso's. The bikes or off road use only. But the design is no good for off road use. But they are not safe for highway use. Do not buy if you are wise.
The Kikker I bought was brand new never ridden. The lady I bought it from had never ever even finished assembling it. I registered it and made it rode worthy. What you guys assume, that I bought a beat up machine is false. It was brand new never completed. I lost the gas cap from not having it tight enough after getting some gas. Since this last post. I have ridden the bike for over 5, 000 miles. Also how can you just insult me when you have no idea of the facts. I love to ride the little bike all over I was just expressing my personal experience with the Kikker Company. The bikes are cool as ###. Just the company sucks is all. Have a good one, rubber side down.
For one the co. should alway's have freindly customer service no matter if you bought from the co. or a authorized dealer
for one good public relations is what keeps you not in buisness but good buisness but you got to keep in mind that this sounds like a small co. that it's got to be hard to keep up with a mass amount of incoming call's also keep in mind that the warranty
is in breech if it's bought second hand you should alway's ask the seller for a origional sales receipt if not then you buy at own risk, course you do that anyway. Most of the time if you talk to the owner and tell them how much you like the bike and how you will recomend on for all you're friends he would probably send you a replacement of what ever you like for free I don't mean to sound like a kiss [censor] but in this dog eat dog world the better liar usually is the winner course don't take this for granted it can also bite you in the [censor]!. I my self am a small buisness owner if you piss them off they'll burn you're [censor] on
contract breechment, . any way good luck with you're bike, hope it play's out for you.
