Land Rover Service department Pasadena Ca

I leased a Range Rover Evoque 2020 from Pasadena. Ca Land Rover
From day I had to go back so many times to the person who leased it to me regarding the temperature display was in centigrade and the lights in the side mirror where not functioning correctly. I stopped again to the service department They keep saying I am changing it

I got tired of bothering them I had to read the book and check it also on you tube. Unfortunately it happened again. Therefore I had to go they say that it needed an update. If it is so why they gave me the car without updating the software. Which I did not believe them
I had to go again for a recall which I understand because of safety

Beginning of December I had to go for my 2 year maintenance for oil change and also brake oil which cost me $960.00 when I took the car it said low battery I had to go back and the told me it will go away that message.

I had to drive back they said ok leave the car the kept it for 2days
They delivered the car everything fine
Now 2days ago I go back for the same issue they would not take my car until
Monday the 9th.
This is unacceptable
Either it is a lemon car or the service department does not know what they doing
I have been driving for 55 years. The last decade I have been leasing BMW
Never had any issues.

I have been driving BMW all my life. I thought it was time to make a change since I love the look of Range Rover

Land Rover Bad behavior from Kuwait agency

I bought Landover Defender from Kuwait agency one month ago and I am using it since that time. I decided to send the car to my home country Egypt and the customer requirement is certificate of origen mentioning all the car details. The Kuwait agency refused to deliver this certificate to me without any reason. This means that I could not move this car to my home country when I finish my contract in Kuwait. Why they did not inform me as a foreigner do not buy it as the brand for citizens only. How could top brand like Landover do like this I am asking for my right to take an official certificate with my car details

I purchased the warranty for Rim and Scratch damages. I contacted First Automotive and Road Vantage as I was given the number from the dealer Job Santos on 12/8/2022 and advised I had to contact them directly to set up appointments for repairs. When I contacted both, I was advised this information is inaccurate and I now need to take my car into the dealer and they would need to call. Well, I then called Job at the dealer back and was advised to drop off my vehicle at 8:00am on 12/12 to obtain a loaner. When my husband went to drop off the vehicle, nobody knew nothing about it and no loaner vehicle available. This is unacceptable and the Supervisor showed no remorse for the hours missed from work. I then asked why we did not receive a courtesy call to advise that no loaners were available and he replied that 'it is not our policy!' They have terrible customer service.

Desired outcome: Better Customer Service and accountability for their actions. As a Lead what example is he showing his staff by being rude.

July 20th 2022

I took my Land rover to the dealership in West Palm Beach after an accident involving a tire blast. They said they have to order parts and charged my insurance company for removing body scratches . I have been trying to contact them for over 90 days now to get my parts installed and each time they give me some kind of excuses. Two months ago they said they received the parts and sent it to paint shop. One month after that when I called they said that they have stil not received the original part. I forwarded them the email where they said that they received the part. Then they said that part was damaged and had to be returned . I am extreamly unhappy about the service at Land Rover. This is not my time I am writing such complaint direct to Land Rover America. I have written this similar compaint previously as well but no action has been taken even to this date either by the Dealer or Land Rover

Land Rover 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport

May 5th 2021 we sent our 2017 Land Rover Discovery to the dealer for a coolant issue that we had been dealing with for about eight months. The car required a head gasket. After 10 months of nothing we contacted an attorney because the car clearly fell under the Lemon Law. Now our attorney gets absolutely no response from Land Rovers attorney they are dragging it out and stalling it has been 19 months with no resolution. This is the absolute worst car company I have ever dealt with.

Desired outcome: I want their attorney to deal with this and come to a resolution like a grown adult.

Land Rover 2019 Range Rover Velar r-Dynamic repair of door handle cost and treatment

-I am presently an owner of a leased 2019 Range Rover Velar. My lease is on extension until February 2023, for me to make a decision.

On 8/18/22 the white part of the door handle on the back passenger side fell off hit the ground and cracked off at the corner as I attempted to push the button to open it. This is the second time a door handle that was on the driver's side has fallen off in the three years since leasing the car.

I will not go into detail on the treatment I received at the Freeport Long Island Dealership which I am sure is not representative of the expectations of your dealerships for these prestigious vehicles, however, I do question, why I am being made to pay 256.18 to have the handle replaced. When it occurred the first time, the Huntington dealership, which also has many problems with customer service, at least realized it was possibly a defect of the car. The Freeport dealers were trying to subtly hint at myself or someone else attempting to break into the car. I had to tell them I had a bystander witness that was not family or friend related. They are still insisting I have to pay 43.78 for the handle, 100.00 to paint it white, and another 100.00 for labor. which of course, I would think painting was labor. I have paid 156.18 already and am now awaiting the call to bring the car in when the part arrives. and I assume I cannot get the car until I pay the last 100.00. If this is a possible problem with the new door handles the car now has, why am I being held responsible for them falling off? As stated this is the second time in three years. Seems to be a manufacturing issue. the car is not old. Please explain and advise.

My complaint involves the door latch recall.(N335) Issue 1, My wife fell out of the vehicle because the front passenger door did not lock. Issue 2, I was required to pay upfront to have the vehicle towed. Issue 3, After receiving several eta’s, I am still waiting for the tow truck. The Request number is 4311226.Issue 4, I was never notified of door latch major safety issue.Issue 5, I had to beg and plead for a service appointment. Issue 6, There are no loaner cars available until September.

Based on this chain of events, I feel Land Rover should reimburse me for towing, my time, and pain and suffering.

Land Rover Racism,

I went to look for a car part at THE GLEN landrover. I was asked to produce a drivers licence. I did not have the licence with me,. Then they wanted to take my picture I refused. Then Filipe Cavalhi called securities to remove me from their premises with excuses that my voice was loud and that is why I was not welcomed in their premises. He spent time talking nonsense. I had to leave premises because of not carrying a driver's licence . I offered to walk and leave my car outside. He was addament with his stuff that i should not purchase from his branch.

Desired outcome: Stop discriminating against certain individuals, whist making pety excuses.

Land Rover Faulty arm rest - Jaguar Land Rover Boston, MA

I took delivery of a 2022 Range Rover Sport in April of 2022; we love the vehicle! However, during delivery of the vehicle, we were shown how to adjust the arm rest for the driver and front passenger by our salesperson. The driver's armrest would not lock in place. our salesperson said he would order another one and we could have it replaced. As were waiting for the part to come in we had another issue with the vehicle, which turned out to be a sensor, which was fixed, while they had the vehicle the arm rest was also going to be replaced, I was told it happened, the car was returned, the arm rest was not replaced as I was told, they wanted me to bring the car back in, it is not convenient to do so and I have been lied to, so that was not an option, after speaking to someone at Land Rover, we had the dealer send a tech out to replace, he came with no information on what the problem was, I had to explain it to him and after he was in the car for a total of about 30 minutes, he claimed he did not have the right tool to do the work, I then again had to go back and forth and the dealer stated they would send someone the follow week to fix it. and now have retracted that and will not uphold their promise to fix but gave me options to bring the vehicle to them, which I will not do. The general manager will not acknowledge me at all, and now the rep for Land Rover is standing by their dealer decision. I would not recommend Land Rover Boston to anyone for any reason. Their staff are unhelpful, and unresponsive, and literally do not care. That would include, the salesperson, the general manager and the head of the service department.

Desired outcome: The arm rest needs to be fixed; we are now two months into this process.

Land Rover Erroneous Tax Charges at End of Lease

LR Discovery Lease [protected] from Baker Motors in Charleston SC.

Vehicle registered in SC the entirety of the lease.

Vehicle tax paid to SC the entirety of the lease.

After end of lease LR Financial/Chase Auto delivers a bill for taxes due in TX.

The vehicle was never registered in TX.

The vehicle was never physically in TX.

I protested in 3 phone calls, 1 certified letter, and while paying the bill to avoid my credit being damaged.

I was told "there are a lot of tax issues and I cannot tell you when your "case" may be reviewed."

Are you kidding me? Why not change me tax in ME or HI or WY or CA!

Nuts!

Desired outcome: Make LR Financial and Chase Auto customers aware so they may possibly avoid this nonsense!

Land Rover My Range Rover Velar 2020

This is my THIRD Range Rover lemon in a row, it was deemed a lemon back in July of 2021, I finally received an offer of buy back a few days before Xmas 2021. I tried for weeks to get a hold of the man ( Andy Remy) that was assigned to my case, He finally called Jan 2022 and we spoke about some questions and he was going to get back to us on the questions. First, never heard from him and questions were not answered. Then he sends us an offer letter and I don't understand the letter or the numbers. He has yet to explain them to us. My husband and I drove to Land Rover in Mira Mesa to get clarification and they could not even explain the numbers. I have been calling and emailing for weeks now and NO answer. I have made my decision to keep the car and take the pay out. Mr. Remy has now sent a deadline via email w/ no explanation. I have told him to call me and send me RAV to sign to keep and I have been ignored for two weeks now. I have no idea how to get this resolved when I am being ignored. I have all my emails and phone calls to back up my claims . Thank you

Land Rover Service incompetence/dishonesty

My out of warranty 2017 range rover was diagnosed by certified, ex-land rover techs and I was told that the issue my car had (O2 Sensor) was covered under my vehicle's extended warranty and that I would be better off taking it to Land Rover to have them fix it under the warranty. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased by their apparent honesty. Land Rover North Scottsdale said that whatever the issue was was NOT in fact covered under the extended warranty and charged me $860 (approx). I was phoned and notified by my LRNS service tech that my car was serviced and ready for pick up. The person who drove my car up indicated that my check engine light was on and that that was not normal. The vehicle was subsequently taken back only to find that the O2 sensor was never addressed. Are you F'ing kidding me?! I feel that you people (LRNS) are either incompetent and/or dishonest. How could this possibly happen? I told them when I brought it in that it was the O2 sensor! I'm beyond furious. I have ZERO faith in Penske and feel the establishment is dishonest and crooked similar to a used car lot. I feel taken advantage of and ripped off. Unless you can rectify this matter, this is not the end of my grievance.

Land Rover Service Department in Hunt Valley Maryland

I purchased a 2021 Range Rover Velar two weeks ago. I have been having trouble with the Land Rover App. I contacted your Customer Service Department and was advised that I needed to have the dealership do a software update since my vehicle was not connecting/ communicating with the app. I scheduled an appointment to have my vehicle serviced on 10/25 and it was dropped off the night before. I was contacted via text message
at 8:15 am asking for my username, password and pin number in order to proceed with the diagnosis and they would keep me posted. I never heard anything back so I reached out via text at 2:25 along with a phone call asking if I would get my vehicle back today and if not I would need a loaner. I was advised that they were still in process of determining the problem and they had no courtesy vehicles and would need my vehicle for another day. After asking when they would have a loaner vehicle available, I was told they were being bought out and had not received any notice of when courtesy vehicles will be provided. I was then told that I could pick up my vehicle or they can keep it to further diagnose the problem which could take 3 to 5 business days. I decided to leave my vehicle, but I reached back out to Land Rover Customer Service to see if maybe they had a solution to my problem since I'm sure there have been other people who had the same issue. The young lady I spoke with ( I believe her name is Patrese), contacted the service department and spoke with the Service Manager Grant. Grant informed her that my vehicle has yet to be in for service and is scheduled for tomorrow morning and should be in and out. Patrese asked him about a loaner vehicle and he told her because of Covid and the car shortage, they didn't have any. I tried reaching out to Grant but received his voicemail so I left a message . What I don't understand nor appreciate is being lied to. Why have me schedule an appointment and you never even looked at my vehicle, let alone lie to me and say that you haven't come up with a diagnosis . Of course they couldn't because my truck is probably still sitting in the same place that I left it. I have several text messages that I will include below of the lies that I was told which is completely different from what was told to Patrese. I have been inconvenienced by having my vehicle sit in the shop without it ever being looked at and now I have to be inconvenienced yet another day when someone should have resolved this issue today like they were supposed to do. Not once was I able to communicate by phone with anyone in the Service Department, and had I not reached back out to your Customer Service Department, I would have no clue as to what is going on.

Land Rover Customer service

We brought our car to be serviced three times (2x for engine failure and 1x for a recall). The most recent time, the engine failure resulted in the car being evaluated for a potential engine replacement or buy-back. We have been waiting for a month and are told that we may wait for more months before they make their decision. In the meanwhile, we are required to continue paying the monthly lease. On top of that, NO ONE wants to provide a loaner or provide reimbursement for a car rental. We are sitting ducks paying for a car that is no longer in our possession for an extended period of time. Someone please explain to me how this experience is aligned with Land Rover's purpose of "above and beyond" products and services? Someone please explain to me how this experience is aligned with Land Rover's mission statement: "We want to deliver more great products, faster than we have ever done before. We want to be leaders in the field of environmental innovation. We want to be sure our customers always come first"? Their treatment of us has left us feeling last not first.
