I applied for a payday loan which asked for my bank details so they can pay the funds in and then withdraw the money when due, but when i clicked submit it redirected me to loanfinder uk saying they might be able to help.
I then click the close button as i have no interest in taking a large loan, when i looked at my bank account today i noticed they have taken £29.78 from my account.
I have never once receiced any phone calls or emails from them as i did not give them my information somehow they have manged to obtain my info from a payday site and take money from my account.
Stay away from these guys they are scam artists.

Hi, I am concerned about your post and would like to help. I work for Loanfinder and would like to try and help customers that have had a poor experience. Please email me directly at: james.hicks@rgroup.co.uk . I try to respond to everyone within a 24-hour period, if not sooner (excluding weekends). I am the Compliance Manager and would like nothing more than to resolve your query. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
James
James hicks is nothing more than a bare faced liar and will not resolve your issue as he has no power to do so .
Anyone thinking of doing business with this company be aware they are glorified thieves and are unscruplilous in there trading style.
They claim that my details were entered on there website however I have proof it was not me and got a bank charge of £15.00, plus had to close my account and cancel all my direct debits.
Upon my own investigation I found that Loanfinder UK Ltd are all part of the Richmon Group Ltd, run by a person by the name of, James Benamore, Email address : james.benamor@rgroup.co.uk,
James Hicks the so called copliance officer did not pick up any of my emails for 2 working days so his claim of 24 hours is dishonest, like the whole company.
They only answered me when I faxed them a winding up petition, at present I am out of pocket to the tune of at least £100.00 and they offered me a cheque for £30.00, a total insult.
Anyone who has a problem with this company should petion no 10 downing street to have there licence revoked and make them unable to trade and report any wrong doing to the police, eventually James Benamore will get whats coming and that a prison sentance for being a dis honest company director.
dont bother getting in touch with Loanfinder UK Ltd, or any of the other comapnies within the Richmond Group Ltd as they are all the same and will rob you blind
Dear 'Henry Hammer1',
With all due respect, we completely disagree with your above post as we feel that we have gone out of our way to help you get this situation resolved. We also (out of respect for you) will not discuss the particulars of your case on this forum (or any other) and will not be making any other comments going forward. We have provided you with details for the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) in order to further help your particular case.
As we have stated to you before, if someone else entered your bank details onto the site without your permission, then we are more than happy to work with the police or any other official body to help you get the situation resolved. We did not, or would not ever, take anyone's personal details without their permission. At the time the details were entered on to the site, how we would we know that the person entering the details was not in fact yourself? We only found out about the potential issue when you emailed us and since that point have worked very hard to resolve the issue. Again, we disagree with your above post and in the manner and tone it is written.
That being said, we honestly and truly want to help our customers find the right loan for them. We also want to help our customers if there is in fact a problem that needs to be resolved - that is why we have posted our email address for all to see.
Thank you,
Loanfinder
I believe this company obtains your bank account details via other loan/payday loan websites when you apply for a loan. If you are turned down by that company then you are redirected to the Loanfinders website. I would assume most people would simply close the page down without continuing. this is their green light to deceive you. they will send you an email saying they have set you up an account, of course you think otherwise because as far as you are concerned you never applied for a loan with this company as you have not entered any details. So that's how I believe they operate.. and my theory is backed up by the numerous complaints you read from people. So why do they get away with it? they are the masters of deception & very clever.. they make sure they have an answer for everything & infiltrate blogs reviews etc.. please see LOANFINDERUKSCAM.co.uk for a good example.. This is mean't to be independent but clearly this is a bogus site set up by LoanfindersUK oh and check out LOANFINDERUK SCAM.COM an almost Identical blogsite but again supposed to be independent.. all this is an attempt to preserve the reputation of the company... unfortunately it is working! and the directors are making millions!
I intend to do just that - have had very bad experience with the organisation and agree the only word that describes them aptly is parasites as that's exactly what they are!
