On 29 Jan 2024 around 9.30 pm, we bought Suisse 1 Ounce Fine gold from Luvenus WZE (jewellery) at Singapore Changi AirportTerminal 3, before our flight from Singapore to Auckland for $3,078. We selected Legend of the Azure Dragon of the Lunar Legend Series, since it was a special one and insisted on that piece only. They said there was only one piece and collected the full price without any discount on that when asked for. Salesperson packed the item in the small paper pouch which had the dragon picture on top and seems to have quietly switched over the dragon piece to yet another normal one without our knowledge. After our arrival at Auckland, NZ we noted that the Dragon picture piece was changed over to the other one without our approval and knowledge, though we specifically insisted and bought – paid for the piece with dragon picture only.
While we believed that customers purchasing items would be given the items they selected and actually paid for, we were quite disappointed with this switching of the item, which seems to be an act of cheating by the salesperson (any one of the two who were there at the time of our purchase). Though it might be argued that it was same value, but the one selected and insisted upon not being provided when the reason for the purchase was the dragon picture for the 2024 Year of the Dragon amounts to taking the customer for a ride which was not expected at Singapore airport at all.
We wish to bring this to your notice and deal with it as appropriate considering this disappointed purchase experience by us which was not expected. We were not expecting to buy the other piece at all and the dragon was the reason for the very purchase.
Given below is the picture of the dragon (on the envelope) and the one delivered to us.
