DO NOT TRUST, YOU CAN END UP IN THE HOSPITAL!

They mail all their products (fresh gourmet meats, cheese and sweets that are perishable) with UPS ground and you have no choice of carrier. Cannot make them send overnight or 2 days. It takes 7-10 days and they arrive spoiled. My brother was hospitalized after eating their food. They should rot in jail!

I have been ordering from malincho well over a year now and never has anything arrived spoilt or in bad condition. NJ to IL usually takes 2 days with UPS. Their packaging is outstanding and refunds for items that have gone out of stock before processing your order are immediate. I can only recommend them.
Don't blame your brother's poor health on the company, they do a great job

I have been ordering from Malincho for the last 3 years, and EVERY TIME I am satisfied. The box arrives on time, many times sooner I expected, the packaging excellent, never had any trouble with my order.
I will continue to do business with them. Thanks!

I used them since the begining, have no problems, once had an issue and they asked me to return the stuff, they send me the label that they prepaid for and replace the item. Great expirience, no complains for at least 4 years or more may be. Will buy again!

Malincho does give you at least three shipping choices. I selected ground shipping and the items arrived in excellent condition and on time. Their products and prices are outstanding, and they went out of their way to clear up a minor misunderstanding about my order. They are a pleasure to do business with and I hope they will be around for a long time.

I'm one of Malincho's first customer to buy on line. Never had any problem with my order and the shipping is very professionally done and an time. I will use them again and again.

I have been byuing Bulgarian cheese and liutenitsa from malincho for years. The expiration dates on these two types of products are excellent - usually more than a year ahead so I order in bulk. I bought spices (savory mostly) as well which also had more than a year before expiring. The only products that I had purchased in not so good quality due to approaching expiration dates were in the sweets category (some suha pasta and moreni). The shipping is excellent as well - they usually do it the next day and it arrives quickly to me ( I am in NJ, though, same as them).
I am thankful for their business that brings the taste of home.

I agree with the complaint. They also sent me spoiled meat products. I paid a high shipping cost and I received everything melted, hot and spoiled - no ice pack or insulation. I live in California.

I have been buying meats, cheese, spices and chocolate on regular basis since 2004, never had a problem, I live in NJ, in the summer ground shipment comes in one or two days, with the box insulated from inside and ice packs in between the items. mostly the ice packs are melted, but the food is always Ok. I made my first order on a Thursday and got a phone call, they advised that it was better to ship on Monday to avoid delays during the weekend. I always get a lot of stuff and chose cheapest shipping to minimize the shipping costs... I consider them my premium choice for Bulgarian specialty food products.

I JUST ORDERED FROM THEM, THESE GUYS NEED TO BE CLOSED FOREVER. MOST OF MY ITEMS ARRIVED ALREADY EXPIRED OR ABOUT TO EXPIRE IN 4 DAYS. I LIVE IN SEATTLE AND THEY JUST SHIPPED MEAT VIA UPS GROUND. HOW REDICULOUS IS THAT. BRINGING THE BULGARIAN WAY OF DOING BUSINESS TO THE USA. CONGRATULATIONS! YOU GUYS DISCUST ME!

I have placed a few orders over a 7+ year period and never had issues. The items arrived just fine, packed well, and I don't recall how long we had before it expired, but it was well within the acceptable time or I would have sent it back. A+ Malincho !

I have been buying from them for years. The packing is superior but the quality of cheese has been deteriorating recently. Crumbles and slime instead of cheese. I guess they have no way of knowing what is inside of a hermetically closed metal box, but somehow they need to check in production. Shipping is slow, i guess it depends on distance. Not buying from them for now.

I've been a customer of "Malincho" for a while. Loved the idea of heaving an online store that sells traditional Bulgarian food. Most of my experience with Malincho is rather negative. The only positive thing is their excellent packaging of the ordered items and the prompt delivery. MANY of the sweets are expired or about to expire. They have such a weird way of ordering - you order the items, pay for them and when your package arrive, you can see that some of the things are missing and the invoice is manually marked "refund". You have no idea that certain items are not shipped, being out of stock. It would be much easier for the customers, if they know something is out of stock, before processing the order.
Your refund transaction is completed two weeks after the day you made the order. The amount of my last refund was less than the amount I paid for the item. Once I tried to explain my problem with them and received a rude answer with no apology whatsoever. Will never shop again from Malincho.

I want just to correct the above my comment about the amount of the refund I received - Malincho was correct, I used a coupon that reduced the amount; my apology to Malincho.

After my father has ordered from Malincho.com since the company started. I ordered a big tin of Bulgarian cheese which was spoiled-half the tin was very swollen on the top. I took pictures and requested them to send me a replacement but they've refused saying there was nothing wrong with the cheese. I'm sure there was botulism already growing inside. They shipped my order which also included meats without any ice packs. It was 78° where I live when they shipped it and everything was warm when it arrived. I am very shocked since my family knows Malincho personally and my father was one of his best customers when he started out. What a disgrace to the Bulgarians that live in America. And yes I am Bulgarian. Order your Bulgarian items somewhere else!

I have been a customer for several years and as a whole, I am satisfies with packaging and the items came in good form. I have been happy with Malincho! But... I have some recommendations:
It has happened 4-5 times for 5-6 years, that the kashkaval came soft..., obviously the producer has shipped it to Malincho earlier, for which I would ask Malincho to talk to them, to check the items when arriving and not sell them, if they are not in a proper condition.
Anyway! I understand, that its probably not that easy, everything and always to be perfect! So I am just making a kind remark, let it be taken as a note to be considered! I am grateful, that somebody is helping me feel the Bulgarian taste here! Do your best to correct these things and go on, Malincho! Thank you!

Just purchased 10 pcs of the Beef Sujuk Specialty Salami Tandem, the meat is expired long time ago on all

10 of those. Just reached out to them for refund, looks like they are looking for a way out. So they don't want to pay. I will update, hopefully they will do the right thing.
