Massey has treated my grass for 2 yrs and 9 months . Before Massey, I had mom and pop companies for 20 years. Never lost my yard! I thought I would upgrade, so made an appointment and a sales rep came out. He made all kinds of promises and shakes my hand and tells me I’m in good hands, that Massey is the best and they guarantee their service. Where could I go wrong. I upgraded my sprinkler system and after 3k I was sure I had done my part, after all, my lawn had survived 20 yrs as being one of the best in town, now I would compete for the best. Fast forward and now I have 2/3 of a yard of the best Bermuda grass in town! Called out a young supervisor and got the song and dance that there was some Bermuda there when they started. I asked them, if I had a roach and called an exterminator to treat and a couple years later I have a roach infestation whos at fault. They refuse to take any responsibility. All I asked up front is for them to maintain my yard, not let it go to crap. It amazes me that these companies take so little responsibility for their actions. I asked them to re-sod the areas that they let get out of control, even offered to sign a lifetime contract, because they would be maintaining the grass they paid for then , but you can imagine the supervisors response. So my question is, has anyone ever retained legal representation to fight for what we pay for?
