My mom had major damage to her house due to a hail storm 5 years ago. Her insurance cannot give her or a contractor payment to fix it, they must go through midland. My mom lost her job at walmart and was late on her payment, midland wont send out insurance checks if you are late on your mortage. My moms house is rotting and midland is doing there best to make her forclose. Something needs to be done about midlands procedures. Its horrible.

You need to file a complaint with the FTC and OCC! Trust me in this because this is all I have done for 5 years is escalate to banks on behalf of others who have no idea what to do. The government doesn't just give out this information because if they did, they would have at least 10 X or more the complaints they receive. you can go to http://www2.helpwithmybank.gov file out the complaint form and send it in! If there is a sale date pending within 3 days, in most cases it would stop it, unless you have a sheriff lined state it has to be a jurisdictional court with mediation for foreclosure. If its not, and if it is like a sale within a week or two, you might get it halted but 30 days or more, is most probable. If its Midland, please complain, because they are one of the worst, and they are getting away with it. You can also send an email out, send it to Midland Department heads, their sponsors, media, and also cc FDIC, FTC, and OCC along with the Department of Treasury. Go all the way up! Now if we can only get an attorney to do a class action lawsuit!
