Buyer Beware! This company does not take responsibility for their mistakes and will leave you out to dry!
We purchased a passion fruit concentrate for a new gummy line, went through R+D and shelf life testing, and printed packaging, at a total cost of over $10,000. Then when we tried to start production they sent a drastically different product with the same label. WTF!?!
John in customer service was very UNHELPFUL, and tried to prevent us from talking to the quality manager to resolve our issue, he did this every single time we tried to follow up. Eventually we were told that the original material we purchased for R+D was actually a puree, and not a juice concentrate, they had mis-labeled it. So now I am out over $10k on development, shelf testing, and packaging.
We kindly asked Nature's Flavors to take responsibility for their mistake and pay back our wasted costs, which still wouldn't account for the lost time. They ignored us.
We kindly pleaded that they at least pay just the $1800 to reprint our packaging. They continued to ignore us for 3 more months, until the CFO said that the owner's reply was "his company isn't responsible for costs incurred related to packaging costs incurred by you." Simply put, the owner doesn't care that his company's mistake incurred their customer over $10k in damages.
BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY! They have no qualms with costing you thousands of dollars and then not giving you one bit of consideration. This type of reckless and malevolent business practices are disgusting. This lack of responsibility and disregard for your effect on others is at the heart of what is destroying our world. PLEASE DO BETTER!
