This office withheld information that they do not have pediatric ortho specialists and are not equipped to handle cases related to kids. They did not have splinter for kids, they had to cut it and make it there for kids. Doc, when walked into the room, said that using x-ray he cannot say anything and suggested going to Pediatric ortho. On the other hand, pediatric ortho shared root cause using the same x-ray. When I asked this office, they argued they did not want me to go to urgent care and spend more money there hence they gave us an appointment. This is unacceptable, they should have shared facts and then it was upto me whether to go to a different facility or this facility. Moreover, it was around 12 noon when they gave an appointment and I could have gone to a different facility, had this information been shared with me. This could have saved me another trip to different ortho pediatric and double billing for the same issue. I already informed this facility that I'm ready to pay for the care taken like splinter, x-ray and all - EXCEPT doctor/facility charges ($215.40). Had this information been shared, I could have gone to a different facility and could have saved an additional trip to a different doctor/facility. I already reached out to their billing department as well as the Risk department.
