My son received a call from this phone number [protected] on January 11th of 2016. Claiming that he was granted a federal grant for $7800. But that he has to send him $260 in order to receive the money. If you have any questions my email address is [protected]@yahoo.com. Thank you, Julie Houle
The number of [protected] that is provided by Omnipoint is under investigation for fraudulent scams done through IRS Tax information with a collateral damage of 7300 dollars which will be punished in a sever legal and imprisonment manner. Omnipoint Comm. Inc. is responsible if they neglect to report the owners of this Caller ID to the authorities of the State of New York. This case will be treated in an extremely serious manner.
All of you are blaming a phone company for the actions of a caller; please see my review "It's a Phone Network, NOT a Caller!" for more details.
Omni sells phone numbers in blocks and knows full well they are used for fradulent, illegal calls. Mine was from [protected] and tried to sell me credit. When I mentioned the no-call list I was insulfted. Don't let Omni off the hook: they are the real criminals.
