Pangea Real Estate agents at this company are rude and unprofessional. They have attempted to push my grandmother and me to continue leasing their overpriced and terrible apartment. They have forced their way onto our property for unscheduled inspections, and have been all in all very unpleasant.
They do not resolve issues especially when there is small children involved. They will stalk you regarding fees they feel is necessary but not resolve bed bug or over payments! It is a hug regret renting with them. This is my first apartment. I thought it was going to be a happy move instead it's a move from hell.
I lived at a Pangea-owned apartment for almost a year, in 2013. I vacated the property and refused to pay the last few months' rent, because the building was full of black mold, it was constantly filled with plaster dust, from CONSTANT construction *(I was assured when I signed the lease that the remodeling of the building would be completed within a month or two of moving in. As of almost 1 YEAR after moving in, the building work still had not been completed.) My clothes were stolen from the laundry room. I complained, and nothing was done about it. The building was constantly noisy, filled with marijuana smoke, and cops were being called for domestic disturbances almost every week. Also, every time it rained heavily, the front hallway downstairs flooded. The water was frequently being turned off for 'repair work' that never seemed to be done, there were cockroaches in my apartment the size of hamsters. And when I attempted to complain and then finally refused to pay rent they sent a police officer to serve me with an eviction notice. In the end I just vacated the apartment, even if it was a ding on my credit, I refused to continue to live in such a horrible place! I will never rent from Pangea properties again, and I would advise anyone else not to either.

The worse real estate company I have EVER endured. For 3.5yrs I've rented from Pangea & it has been NOTHING but problems & mismanagement from the beginning! From maintenance walking in while in the tub, from holes & cracks in the walls, bug & pest infestations, the worst communication ever from a business. When there's a problem it's ALWAYS the tenats problem. They never takes blame, just note your account & half the time when they tell you its noted its NOT. Now in a new unit different city for 1 month our cars were towed due to failure to display proper permit but was NEVER informed what we needed to do if no one called to say the permit were ready. Then tells us you guys aren't the only one's. So you guys are use to taken advantage of people. I mean my God no empathy or concern at all. Walked to the office to only be told its out of our hands & the property manager could not be reached due to an emergency & there was nothing else they could do. Meanwhile our cars sit another day @ $400, missed worked & we're just at a total loss. They're so unprofessional & careless & they need legal action taken against them.
I know. I had the same problem over in Pangaea Lake's. The Zone Manger was a Thug. The whole staff over there was unprofessional. Tenants and Former Tenants need to file a she against them.
Friday Jan 18th my fridge went out i called told me 1-3 business days. Told me it was top priority, if it was why did it take until tuesday to get here, five hours later it still doesnt work. Called again, told me to wait 24 to give timer to catch up i knew that was [censored] cause if i didn't have ice in 5 hours i knew in 24 hours wouldn't have any in the meantime my food is ruined now it Wednesday 4 o'clock in the morning still not working. You never see a building manager and I've been here 8 year, seen soo many come and go, second fridge it was used and banged up. Waiting for their [censored] to show up today. And those Mexicans better not show up trying to talk down to me like they seldom do
