When in the process of waiting for my puppy, my delivery date was changed from receiving the puppy at 8 weeks old to a month out from the original date, due to transportation issues within the company and not due to the health of the puppy. I was told I was purchasing an F1BB standard goldendoodle and even discussed it with the customer service representative. I received an 8 week old 5 pound F1B goldendoodle. He is now at 16 pounds at 4 months of age. But we will see. I really love my puppy, but I was misled with what I was purchasing which I do believe to be fraud. I waited years to get the exact puppy I was looking for. Paid the overpriced amount, just for this specific puppy and it’s not what I received.
I also was told by the delivery drivers that I still owes the delivery fee which was already paid in advance. They did not take my picture with the puppy or check my ID as I was informed that they would. The breeder then had to reach out to me to see if I received the puppy. She was under the impression that puppy food was to be sent to feed the puppy during travel, when I was under the impression that the puppies are not removed from their crates, or fed, or watered during transportation. A lot of miscommunication it seems, and she was the one to inform me that my puppy was an F1b not an F1bb. The company also sent me emails asking if I was enjoying my new puppy and referral links before I even received him! I would be leary of purchasing a furever friend without meeting the breeder or the puppy first. Because you may be paying an arm and a leg for something different then what you are told.
