I bought a 12 wk kitten from this same breeder (July 11, 2010) he weighted 1.14 lbs. The fur on the end of his tail was sparce, I thought it was because he chewed it while playing. After a months time the fur was missing a good inch and a half on his tail as well as a patch on his head. I brought him to my vet mid August. My kitty was diagnosed with Giardia and Ringworm. When I told the breeder she said he got the Giardia from tainted water at my house, my cats get bottled water. Interestingly enough the breeder had her house water tested and put the entire cattery on the same med my vet perscribed. Hmmm... The vet also said that the ring worm came from the cattery since he was able to see another spot on the head where the fur had fallen out and regrew. Since I had the kitten for 4wks that is impossible for fall out and regrowth to happen in that short a time without being noticed by myself. My older cat was tested for Giardia and Ringworm and she came back negative so it did not come from her. When the breeder was told she offered to help pay for the medication for ringworm but has yet to send any money. I sent her the packing slip/receipt and she claims she doesn't have my address. Packing slip and my check that she photo copied has my address...This breeder is un willing to accept her kittens are not in the best of health and grossly under weight. My kitten has been treating for ringworm for the past 3months, 4 script @ $50 a script not to mention the vet bills. My kittie is now 7 months and at a normal weight Vet quote "He certainly is a much healthier kitten than when he first came in." I love my kittie and would not give him up for the world, he is happy and loved. Buyer beware from this breeder. She does not accept responsibility for her lack of proper care to her kittens. She has tooo many litters (7 litters when mine was born) to give the proper care and attention each kitten needs to insure a healthy kittie. BUYER BEWARE!
