I bought Peugeot 3008 in egypt on Tuesday, May 14th
On Friday, may 17th, I got abnormal electricity sounds coming from car front, with flame coming mainly from front speaker
I contacted customer service on same day and they told me it looks as electricity problem that had to be checked
I went to the agent on Saturday, May 18th, where an engineer met me and looked at the car without opening and told me it looks temporary issue and advised me to drive and come back on mid week for thorough check
Few hours later, I was driving on a slow road, a big truck stood suddenly in front of me, and I tried to stop, but brakes didn't work to result in major crash and I got some injuries
The local agency here is trying to shift the issue into non proper driving and that car had nothing
I guess it's more serious, I could loose my life
It can't be coincidence that before the crash immediately I was in the agency complaint of electricity problem in a literally new car

My name is James Bush and I have been a customer of Peugeot's for 5 years now. I would like to explain my disgust at the 'customer service' i have recently received.
I took my Peugeot 107 for a Service/MOT on the 07/05/2019 as it was due on the 10/05/2019. During the phone call to explain it has passed the MOT i was advised i cannot have my car back due to it having an error which they must fix before it can be returned. I was advised it will be kept overnight due to this which i was OK with. The next day i received a phone call advising Peugeot need to keep the vehicle for at least another week as the part that needs to be fitted is delayed and until the part is fitted they cant release the vehicle due to safety reasons. This i can accept. What i cannot accept is the fact i was not offered a courtesy car and when i asked for one i was declined. I advised my wife is 3 months pregnant which also did not help. I then asked for some money off or compensation if you like towards my service and MOT which was declined as 'it had nothing to do with the re call issue' I even advised my disgust down the phone as to the fact i am now 'car less' for a over a week due to a problem that is not of my doing and Peugeot is offering no support in the mean time in which i received a verbal apology that let's face it, does not count for much when i am in the situation i am. I called Peugeot on 13/05/2019 to ask for an update in which i was advised they expected the part in that day but it had not arrived so they have raised a case with the part's company in Derby. This meaning i still do not have my car back. I was advised i will be called when they sort the issue. It is now 16.00 on the 14/05/2019 and i have had no call, i still have no car and i am extremely dissapointed in the attitude of Peugeot as a company. I will be wanting some sort of compensation in regards to my complaint as i do not deserve this treatment. YOU have messed up, not me! I owe no money on this vehicle and therefore have no ties to your company no more. I get my vehicle serviced / MOT'd by Peugeot every year to get the stamps in the book and i have previously mentioned my wife is pregnant. We will be needing a larger vehicle and up to now Peugeot was an option to trade in and finance off another new Peugeot but depending on how this complaint is treated will determine where i take my service in future! coolant not sufficient
Hi this is Nagesh, I am driving Peugeot 408 in Malaysia car number VBG6659, my car shows warning 2 times that coolant level liw and I send car for service centre for check up. After check they told me shocking news need to change outlet tank and few things cost around 1500RM. I asked to change it and went to collect the car I asked them to show what they changed. They showed me one plastic housing told this one is leaking. I am really not convinced as plastic engineer how this part will leak. Plastic parts have self life and gone through lot of validation before release the part. How come this part leaking suddenly and for me it is not at all looking like leaking. I want serious enquiry on the above matter. For me its looks like need to achive the target so replace the good thing.

i have a 2009 Peugeot 207 I have had the car 2 years and in that time I have had to replace clutch master cylinder 3 times it was replaced with genuine parts so I think the parts are faulty I like the car but I just cant trust it anymore is there a heavy duty cylinder I could use instead of the plastic cylinder whitch keeps breaking down or is there any way of converting to cable
car with engine fault
My car has been in the workshop for a month and no feedback is given to date on the cause of Engine fault. However the oxygen upstream sensor was replaced claiming that could have been an issue, earlier.
I have been diligently following up and no response have been delivered to me on my car or what the cause is.
I am very disappointed with the after sales service. My car is 3 years plus, 130k mileage. The warranty period has been extended to 5 years but many of the wear and tear is not covered and forfeits the purpose of this warranty.
On top of all that, attending to such engine fault is extremely slow and non-reliable.
Going through some of the previous Peugeot owners, some of the engine/ electronics issues are repeating for several years.
I need my car back and I want it fixed at no cost. I have spent so much money travelling using public transportation and I work out of town.
It is very troublesome without my car.

Good Morning, My name is Molatelo Beauty Maake, I Drive the 2018 Peugeot 2008 1.6 VTI Allure, Registration DRF 422 L. I started to experience a problem on the car it was overheating, and it was not starting but switching on. I took the car to Peugeot Polokwane for repair, I received a quantitation to strip the engine and engineering, all the time I was communicating to Marika at Peugeot Polokwane. I paid the deposit to start working on the car.
later I receive a quotation that the engine need to be replace and the problem on the car cannot be fixed. I told Marika that the money they are requesting for the new engine I cannot afford it because with that amount you can buy another car. I requested them to assemble the engine back because o cannot afford the new engine. When I check with them what is the problem with the car they just say they cannot fix the engine, they only replace. but they don't tell me what is the fault on the car.
I ask Marika if they are not going to charge me the storage because by that time I was travelling to Swaziland 22-28 Sep 2018, and she said no. on the 29 Sep 2018 i received a call from the new owner of Peugeot to come and collect the vehicle and i send my brother to collect the vehicle, I was surprised when he said there are car parts at the back, boot car. I spoke to the owner and the person who was working at the car he promise that I must come the following day to collect the car. The following day I drove to Polokwane myself to collect the car, to my surprise the car was still the same, nothing was done on the car. The person who was working at the indicated that the owner stop him when he was busy putting back the parts and informed him that I must pay another money before they can put back the parts.
we argued a long time because I was never told that I must pay before they assemble the car back they way it was. I toughed the car and the engine is still not back. I feel this is not fair for me for what the Peugeot did to me. Now I am paying the car every month and I don't use it. Please repair the car.

My name is Ana-Maria Teodosio, I live in Durban, South Africa and I drive a black Peugeot 208 Active.
I had a service was done on August 21st, 2018; an order was placed for parts (11314) by Charmaine from Peugeot Pinetown, she was very helpful and kind.
Now my frustration is that I have been waiting from August to this current date, is 16th October 2018. for the parts to arrive in South Africa, never mind arriving in Durban.
Can someone please explain to me, why it takes almost 2 months for the parts to be brought into the country?
How can a prestigious company such as Peugeot does not have any parts available in South Africa, especially since cars are being sold?
Why should customers in South Africa be subjected to the subpar level of service, from a company that prides itself on good customer service?
And do you realize that by not having any parts available in South Africa, that it goes against the CPA act of South Africa?
And finally, I would like to know when the parts for my car will be arriving?
I am not impressed with the level of service when it comes to dealerships having to wait for head office to send parts for customers cars.
You are making it very hard for the people working in your South Africa branches to give customers the level of service they deserve and pay for.
This isn't the first time the head office has made me wait for parts to be replaced in my car, the same goes for my sister and father who also drive Peugeots.
But I will say this, that this has left a bitter taste in my mouth with the Peugeot brand, which I also preached as the best.
So I like this issue resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible, or I will be looking for a car next year from a different car brand that is willing to give me good service.

tail gate issue, auto cruise position
As an owner of peugeot 3008 i find it disappointing not to have an automated tailgate. its very heavy especially as a woman driver i find it so difficult to handle it while im shopping even worse when its raining and im carrying things. Why have unnecessary function and just took off the tailgate function.
The auto cruise position is not practical its hiding behind the steering .how do i set it while driving. why wasnt it position or programmed digitally so that i can set it on the screen. This is disappointing too.
When the car is idle on the road due to traffic and gear is in D mode the car moves backward when take off. This shouldnt happen. Slight slope or even on a normal road.
Off lane alert.. sometimes it works and some time it doesnt .

Today my car was damaged during warranty service and was denied with repair till I had to make demand straight and explain my rights. I went to El Seoudi Group in Cairo for about one year ago complaining from the Cassette Radio, the CD was not working, the car was still under warranty, after inspection, they promised to replace the defected unit, last month they call for replacing the cassette, but the new unit was not Compatible with the car programmed as they said and the problem still not solved
2 month ago, the rare window machine was not working well, it was suppose to replace the whole window machine units as they in the agent informed me, till now no response for bringing the replacing units
As I informed by the agent, the defect report was sent to the Pegoeut main center in France, the main center must agree for replacing the defected parts and send the new required spare parts, I don't belive that the your agent in Egypt has no new Radio Cassette and the window motor machine

i usually do the service regularly and i had a very very high sound, i requested to check their feedback first that nothing wrong and after insisting
Their feedback was that the shock absorbs has a manufacturing defect and my car was already in warranty
so they told me ok to change it but they don't have this spare part right now and waiting from peugot france and once available they will tell me
this feedback was 6 months ago !

We are a South African COmpany, Fleet owner of approximately 50 Peugeot vehicles.
WE currently have approximately 4 vehicles off the road, 2 of the vehicles have been in workshop for 3 months due to Peugeot SA not able to provide spare parts.
WE have escalated the complaint to Peugeot SA with NO response.
WE have had to rent vehciles during this period at a significant financial cost to the COmpany.

I went to Wahdan maintenance center in Cairo to do the regular maintenance of car of based on 50, 000 Kilometers on 28/07/2018, the service was very bad and after they checked my car they said that they have to change the oil machine of my car then the big issue was they said air-condition of the car is not working and they told me that Air-condition compressor need to be changed at the price of L.E 18000.00 which equal $ 1000.00 which is unbelievable to change an important part in the car while the car speed meters is reading only 50, 000 then the battery now is not working as well, I contacted Peugeot Egypt 5 times since 28/07/2018 throughout the hotline (16674) and I did a complaint but sorry to inform you no body get back to me up till now after a lot of promises that they will sort the issue within 48 hours, I love Peugeot cars and I recommend Peugeot cars to my friends and relatives but I didn't expect to have all theses issues in my car, I'm expecting a great support my Peugeot company to change the compressor and car battery as goodwill as I cannot afford spending huge a mount of money while the car is still new and car speed meters is only reading 50, 000.00 bear in mind that all maintenance were done in Peugeot centers and I have the official documents for that. appreciate receiving your assistance and support, my Mobil number is +[protected] and my e-mail hazim.[protected]@gmai.com

In March, two years ago we bought a brand new Peugeot 2008 from a dealership in Torrevieja, Spain. as pensioners in our late 60s, this was to enable us to enjoy stress free travel for the next few years.
In March of this year we had an warning light informing us to take the car to the dealer, which we did. The car was taken into the workshop where we were told that we could not take it away on our Pre planned trip to Andorra in the morning. We had to hire a car for 10days at our own expense while the car was checked for problems. On our return the mechanic could find no problem. The car was then given its annual service.
In July this year...just 3 months after the two year guarantee period...on our next planned holiday, our car again had a warning light telling us to go to the nearest garage as there was an engine problem. It transpires that the end of the spark plug had sheered off and entered the engine and the engine was now broken and would need to be replaced! This engine had done 5% of its life expectancy...a mere 24, 000 Kms.
After over a month, without a car, Peugeot is dragging its heels. We have been made an offer to pay 80% of the cost of a new engine. We have no concept of what that amount will be...even after several requests for a break down in the costings. We feel very angry that Peugeot are not offering to replace this engine which is so obviously faulty from the factory. No doubt the spark plug manufacture has a fault...nobody we have spoken to has ever heard of such a thing happening in a virtually new car. We have been put to a great deal of extra expense and stress not to mention inconvenience.
We bought from Peugeot after much deliberation and after test driving several other cars. We are extremely unimpressed and disappointed with the company and the aftercare in this very unusual scenario . As pensioners we have no possibility to earn extra money..and this is going to stretch out tight budget to its very limits...and we shall have no faith in the car or the company again.
So it seems that our next few years of stress free and enjoyable driving has already ended abruptly.
Our faith in Peugeot has been shattered and we unfortunately will not be able to recommend Peugeot to any of our friends and family.
We certainly would never go near another Peugeot car despite having had several Peugeot cars over the years.

Im owner of Peugeot 301. I realized strange sound while driving. So i went to Peugeot official car service center and they perform checkups and i informed that my car suspensions should be replaced for free specially i still within warranty period. Also i informed from the car service center they successfully secured the necessary approvals from france head office to change my suspensions for free but due to unavailability of stock i have to wait tell suspension restocking. Im still waiting their call from 3 months ago. appreciate your support to speed this cycle
