I purchased the free pills I got 15 and paid only 4.99 and I was under the impression that if I couldn't take them or they didn't work for me I could cancel at any time they have a number on the bottle of pills and it is suppose to be a 24 7 line but nobody never answers or returns your call if you don't cancel you are charged 149.95 that they take out of your credit card and even if you could cancel they will charge you 49.95. I read the terms and that wasn't in there no where I think it is a scam cause the emails I sent come back every thing I have tried to do to cancel this is a dead end lucky for me I use a green dot card I can close it out at any time and buy a new one and that is what I am doing but still this place shouldn't be aloud to take advantage of people this way and I am doing everything. I can not stop them. I have sent emails to all my family and friends that warn them of this company and they will pass it on to there friends and family the internet is a powerful tool if this company can use it to make money like this I can use it to warn people about them.

I WAS TAKING A SERVER TO TRY OUT A FLAT SCREEN FOR FREE IF I COMPLETED THEIR SURVEY. AFTER REALIZING I WAS GOING TO GET SCAMMED, I LOGGED OFF TO MAKE SURE THE SURVEY WAS NOT COMPLETED! I RECEIVED A REGISTERED LETTER, AND I HAD A SPURIOUS CHARGE TO MY BANK ACCOUNT I WAS GOING TO CALL ON YESTERDAY.

THEREFORE, I WAS GOING TO PUT RETURN TO SENDER, BUT NOTHING IS SHOWN FOR ANY RETURN. I WAS EXPECTING SOMETHING IN THE MAIL FROM MY PHARMACY, BUT SINCE IT WAS ONLY FOR WATER RETENTION, THEY NORMALLY SEND IT DIRECT. IF I HAD KNOWN I WOULD HAVE NOT SIGNED FOR DELIVERY AT THE POST OFFICE, BUT I WAS RUNNING ERRANDS, SO I BARELY HAD TIME TO STOP. IF THERE IS ANY ADVICE, OTHER THAN ASKING THE POST OFFICES HELP IN RETURNING, PLEASE SEND ME AN EMAILS TO HOW I CAN SAFELY RETURN AND GET CANCELED FROM THIS. I DID NOT GIVE ANY BANK OR DB CARD INFO, SO HOW DID THEY KNOW HOW TO ACCESS ME?

I RECEIVED MY BOTTLE OF THIS PILL AND I DO NOT WANT ANY MORE OF THEM AND I HAVE CONTACTED THE COMPANY AND TOLD THEM SO. SO THEY WOULD NOT SEND THEM TO ME BUT THEY DID ANYWAY AND CHARGE MY BANK ACCOUNT FOR THE PILLS AFTER I TOLD THEM NOT TO SEND ANYMORE OF THEM TO ME. SO I THINK THEY ARE FRAUDS AND I DON'T WANT ANYTHING ELSE TO DO WITH THEM.

I agree 100% with you, as I too have had problems with the company. But, they are covered legally by their terms and conditions. I never used to read them but after this, I will always read them before I buy anything - even a trial membership!

I, too, have been ripped off and scammed by these "good for nothing" crooks. I am a 73 yr. old widow, trying to survive on social security. I am at my wit's end of what else to try. Guess I will cancel my Bank Card, and even change banks if necessary. Surely these complaints can be sent to the Attorney General, or perhaps hire an attorney and get a class action lawsuit going. I am nervous wreck over this and will never, ever order anything on my Credit Card again. Crooks like these hurt legitimate businesses. They should be concerned, too.

I too am fighting this $149.95 withdrawal from my account, it was just put on hold last Thursday and I immediately canceled my debit card so they could not charge anything else... I did confirm that they "could" release the funds on hold even though the card is canceled. I too got a sick feeling from the pills, heart population at the very least. Anyway, a good walk and eating healthier is a much smarter way to go. Oh, and I'm told by the Bank that they will not pursue Fraud until the funds are actually taken out of my account, so it's a race to try and get them to release the funds. I did submit their "Support Tickets" and did get response asking for name, zip code, order & date placed and credit card number. I supplied all these things and am waiting to see if Todays Business transactions has any reward. Good Luck!

I took a survey that wanted me to try one of their sponsors products for only the shipping fee. Well, as others have stated, the nightmare began. I tried the number... NO LIVE PERSON... website is always down and the beat goes on. I canceled my credit card, shipped the package back and my credit is checking for fraud. Well, in my bulk mail today was an offer for free trial on
(you guessed it) phenterthin. I scrolled down and in the fine print an address from Oklahoma City, Okla. This might be our little friend. Thought I would share.

I have been charged $149.95 for pills that I didn't order! I have received and returned the package and expect that I will be reimbursed for the money taken. I was unaware that I had been charged since there was no invoice with this package and I only discovered the charge when I received my bank statement. This company is a scam and I will report it to the Better Business bureau and also to the Mississippi Attorney Generals office.

I did cancel my subscription and all of a sudden I have a charge for $149.95 on my account. I first had to find out who it came from and when I did I was furious. I already told them I didn't want it. I just want to know how to get my money back. If any body knows please E-mail me and let me know. I have tried to send them a complaint ticket like they asked but the site is under construction all the time and I can't get through. I was surprised to actually find this site. HELP!

Yeah i realized after seeing a research site on it and i hadn't even got it yet so i am gonna report them to the bank so they will stop the transaction past 4.99 instead of getting a new card. We need to a computer wizard and install a crash course virus into their system.

I also sent for the 15 day trial and was not aware that they would charge you a cancellation fee of $40.00 (I think, been awhile since I ordered it) if you canceled the order before they sent you the other 60 pills for $149.95. It did not say this in the initial ad. I could not get in touch with a real person to dispute this so I did go to the extreme and closed my checking account so they could not take any more money out for a product I did not want. This company is a total rip off and now I read that the ingredients in the pills are not good at helping you lose the weight. What a waste!

After I received my "trial" offer, I found this site and read the comments. How I wish I had read them before I ordered. Although I went through the maze of phone numbers and websites and filled out the complaint ticket, they sent me the $150 package. I still have had no luck with the cancellation. I do have a copy of the request almost a month ago to cancel --and their response at the bottom of my ticket that they needed my full name, mailing address, credit card, order date, etc. I clicked the next button on their site and they had all of the above right there. These scam artists (hoodiaphen, saveonpills, phenterthin, or whatever they want to call themselves--all the same group) have no intention of cooperating! Don't make this mistake!

I have also been scammed by the $4.95 Phenterthin offer that was posted on-line. I received two bottles less than one month later for the amount of $149.95. I called my Credit Card Company to put the purchase in dispute, and they gave me a number to contact them at: [protected]. When I reached a live person (which took 3 back-to-back attempts), the woman on the line told me that I had one of two options - 1- send back the two bottles that I received and get a $100.00 refund (keep in mind they are still charging me $49.95 for the original 15 complementary pills I received) or -2- keep one bottle and be charged only $79.95. She was very unkind, and when I told her the original pills made me feel jittery and that I didn't even use 13 pills of the original shipment, she told me they could not accept an opened bottle. I am just wondering if anyone has had this issue resolved, and received a full refund...

So I called when I had to do all this signing to get this "free" deal and found all this scams stuff on the internet. I got threw, I was treated like crap, tried to scare me that I did sign the "terms" which I never saw anything-it was free-right? It was going to cost me 35.00 to cancel or if I didn't cancel within the 15 days it was 49.95 to cancel. I went to my bank, they stopped the transation and said it was fraud and just let them send it to collections-i didn't sign anything. We are suppose to write the BBB about them. We need to stand against these scumballs!

I got in touch with a supposed representative for Phenterthin. She told me to e-mail her and also give option 1, but the email address was not valid. I hope the one listed in the above complaint helps me more.

If you would like the phone number, it is [protected]. I still cannot believe their best option is still being charged $49.95 for a product that doesn't work and isn't wanted. What happened to a money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied. What a joke.

OH...MY...GOSH..! WHAT HAVE I DONE HERE. TRIED TO HELP THE WIFE WITH HER WEIGHT BATTLE, TRIED TO GET "FREE-STUFF" BY FILLING OUT A SURVEY THAT TAKES F-O-R-E-V-E-R, AND USUALLY COSTING YOU SOMETHING MORE THAN A WHOLE LOT OF TIME TO HOPE TO GET WHAT THEY PROMISE YOU. PAID SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES TO GET "FREE" STUFF. AND WHEN IT ARRIVED I DID NOT REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS FOR. I JUST WENT ON LINE AND SEARCHED THE WORD "PHENTERTHIN" AND FOUND ALL MY SCAM-ED BUDDIES REMARKS AND COMPLAINTS AGAINST A PRODUCT THAT DOESN'T WORK BUT YOU KEEP GETTING CHARGED FOR ANYWAY AND NO WAY IN SIGHT TO STOP IT. SOMETHING'S GOTTA CHANGE HERE. MY THANKS TO SHARON FOR "PURE ENERGY PRODUCTS" ADDRESS. LET'S HOPE THIS IS WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR. p.s. my suggestion to those who use debit/bank cards for internet purchases...DON'T. use a no annual fee credit card with very low interest rate and lowest available credit line and pay it off with your debit/bank account every month. IT'S EASIER TO GET A NEW ACCOUNT NUMBER WITH A NEW CARD.

I order a 15 day sample of Phenterthin, i checked the web site closely for any hidden clauses, & did not see any, usually there is something that states you have so many days to cancel any further shipments I did not see this anywhere, my account has just been debited $149.95.

I didn't even order Phenterthin. I ordered Hoodia Phen and got Phenterthin. I got the free trial bottle which my husband flushed down the toilet and then later came two big bottles with an even bigger price tag. Just goes to show you have to read ALL the fine print. I filed a complaint and am trying to cancel the AP program but it looks from other people's responses that I won't have much luck. Wish I would have read this site before being impulsive and giving it a try. Very poor ethics in this company.

I ordered the "free" trial of their product for $4.99. Then, they deducted $149.95 from my checking account without authorization. I received a shipment of pills about two weeks after the charges appeared. I returned them, but from reading other complaints, I'll probably get the package back. I've tried contacting this company by phone and by email, but get no response to either. I need help! I can't afford to lose this money and from the sounds of the other complaints, this company continues deducting money from your account without authorization!

These people are totally fraudulent and they are stealing from people online, even when you submit tickets they cancel them out like you never created one. They took 149.95 out of our account since my husband did not read the terms which they are not visible on the site you have to click on it and it is very small on the very bottom, you think you are only paying for shipping cost, NOPE... They put this website out there to take people, DO NOT TRY THE FREE TRIAL it is far from free. and they do not allow you to call them but on our statement it gave a number and the name of the company is PURE ENERGY, not sure if you will be able to reach anyone? Best thing to do is not to bother with them because they are not good people.

I, too, ordered the trial offer of Phenterthin off of the internet and now have $149.95 of unauthorized charges on my account. I cannot reach anyone by phone and have not received any response from the "ticket" that I opened via their website. What can I do to get my money back and to stop this company from defrauding others? Please help. I can't afford to lose this amount of money. I already live paycheck to paycheck and these people have already cause my checking account to go into the negative and as a result, I have incurred tons of overdraft charges! HELP!

Please refer to all the other complaints on here about the company. If you go to their website they clearly have TERMS AND CONDITIONS. While I do feel for you all, I am clueless why you wouldn't read it? For example, if the sample was "free" then WHY am I being enrolled in a subscription? That isn't "free" You have to be a smart consumer and READ ALL THE FINE PRINT! It PAYS to read & it clearly states that THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. So I highly doubt that anyone can sue because it clearly STATES in their TERMS AND CONDITIONS what you all are getting into.

You may try to dispute through BBB or FTC to try to get them to refund your money. Next time if you EVER go to a website like that look for their TERMS AND CONDITIONS and READ through ALL of it so you can be sure if you are subscribing to a program.

I just got ripped off myself . I just found out that I had $149.95 charge in my account. Right before X-mas & I really needed this money. This was so unathorized.

Ordered free sample of Phenterthin for $4.99 shipping-was charged $149.95 and couldn't find e-mail. Website is barred due to scam complaints. Called and canceled , but they said shipment already mailed and could not refund that amount, but no added shipments would be sent. My Visa card said I must show proof of return to get a credit on statement. I do not have an address to send them to. They cleverly leave that off their packages. Can you help with that? I am on a fixed income, so this really hurts. I should have been smarter.

Look through all these threads I believe some user did post their address, but I read their Terms and Conditions and they said "no returns accepted." I suppose you could still use it as proof to get that credit from your VISA card, though.

Totally agree with comments! This is a scam mostly because they claim one thing and do another! They also put the information about their system hidden in their policy and not up front as it should be!
